Thank you! 馃槉 I've started and abandoned so many games, I feel like making the movement feel smooth is just about the only thing I actually have experience with now haha

I think I tried to leave a comment on the normal game page rather than here on the jam page, it apparently needed some sort of review before it would be posted and I just don't know if that's going to happen 馃槄 At the risk of essentially repeating myself if that original comment ever appears, I'm a really big fan of your system with multiplying exp based on consecutive wins! My mind was racing as I played, I love JRPGs and I often find that a big negative for me is how I always take the boring approach of returning to the nearest town to rest, rather than use potions on the field. The system that you have in place here seems like such an elegant solution to that problem, it doesn't feel like a punishment, but I am absolutely incentivized to not walk back to the healing flowers as much as I can manage. Nice work!

馃 I actually have a much bigger idea in mind for this project which I had to cut back on several times throughout the jam, I'll definitely be expanding on and refining what you see here! I'm really happy you liked it 馃檪

I'm glad you liked it 鈽猴笍 "books books books books books books books" was a direct suggestion from my partner! Actually most things can be attributed to her idea-wise, I'm mostly just good at making things feel good and work well 馃槄

I also ran into this, unfortunately. I actually played through it a second time just to see if the glitch was random, but it was the same. I was curious if there was an ending put into the game back in the bedroom, but at least gameplay-wise I assumed that I had gotten the full experience 馃

Thank you! When I first made the crouch squish, I was worried that I was putting a little too much attention into the pill character because I was just going to replace it with a proper model later. Then I ended up not completing the model in time, so that little detail was actually really great to already have set up 馃槄

Really neat idea! This is a small thing, but I love the connection I feel with the character by having to physically turn my head back and forth, I think that was a solid design choice for this game. Several of the characters charmed me, and the little details appearing on the desk as the character gets settled in were really nice 馃檪 I like it, good work!

This game feels special, I very much enjoyed it! Technically quite impressive, but also I simply enjoy claw games (I do not enjoy filling them with money though 馃槄). The idea is something I think would be worth expanding on and polishing up, but even as it is now, there's a lot to appreciate here. For the record, I was not able to make it very far into the game, I'm just not fast enough and I don't really understand the upgrades, but I had a blast anyway. There's also such a sense of style to the game, I love the speed at which patients are rolled in, the music is great... Great job!

This was such a delight to play! I know it probably wasn't intended, but the first thing I did when I ate the tennis ball was somehow rocket myself miles into the sky, so I ate a rock to make myself crash back to the ground faster 馃槀 it was a really fun moment, but I was already super on board with the game before that. Your writing is really good! I really tend to roll my eyes at most writing in most games, but it was genuinely very nice to read what the characters have to say in this.

Cute! Your subtle animations make me very happy 馃檪

(1 edit)

Just as chaotic as I was hoping 馃檪 I am quite bad at this game lol, but it's so silly that I enjoy it a lot! I did not know how to treat the wounds at first, and got a chuckle when I realized I was desperately cauterizing things that just needed stitches, accomplishing nothing but burning my victims 馃槀 I had a good time playing this, well done!

Very neat little game, the sound effects and kazoo-playing definitely made me smile 馃槉 I love artillery games like this, and it seems like you had fun making it!

Cute game idea, I was really into the opening segment where I was asked what I ate recently 馃檪 you really captured this mysterious vibe that I really like in the openings to some games. I also think you have a great eye for little details in the set dressing of the house, I smiled at "swears" and "illegal stuff" 馃榿 also, while your settings menu is perhaps not quite as useful as I would expect of a full release, it did bring me more joy than I was expecting haha. Great job!
