I agree with a daunting early upgrade cycle. For the next big patch, my plan is to condense the early cycle significantly with a push for the first major milestone, a boss fight. Be sure to watch for updates, thanks for playing!

Thanks for your feedback, the Abyss button doesn't show until you have enough memory fragments, but its not clear currently when that happens, to make it more clear I'll decrease the cost of the first upgrade to 1 in the next patch.

Fun, linear, short. Adding more idle / passive mechanics such as the ability to hover would be great.

Thanks! The world generation was so fun to develop, basically the rivers are random walk algorithm while the lakes were a flood fill algorithm approach!
