Happy to hear you found the movement intuitive! I'd love to revisit this project and turn it into something real with a gameplay loop

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! This was quickly thrown together in 2 weeks when I was first learning how to make games so I had no idea what I was doing. It was more of a tool for me to learn the technical process of working in Unity, so it has a lot of flaws design-wise. The mothership only spawning when you die is ridiculous in retrospect since you need it to save the game. I would do a lot of things differently if I made a non-prototype version of this game
Awesome style and gameplay. Looks great visually and drifting around the track is a lot of fun. My only issue with it is the frequency of the cars, seems like most of the time a lot of them are across the map or on the loop, so I barely see anyone on the main track, so its hard to build up blood. If there were more cars to feed off of this would be insane
The game has serious performance issues. With big 3d open world and npcs you need some kind of optimization if you dont want it to run terribly. It takes forever to load into the game and it crashed the first time i tried. Also why is there options menu with zero options? This is also missing the parkour aspect mentioned on the game page, its just a running simulator with a lag spike every 3 seconds. I do like the UI visuals, the text printing on the screen is pretty cool. I also enjoyed the theming!
I thought this was a good idea for the theme! I really love the visuals with the shaders. It helps leave something to the imagination with the person following you and adds to the suspense. The heart beat based on distance was a really nice touch that added a lot. Some landmarks would've been nice, especially with the visuals it was hard to navigate, but I managed to find the officer after a bit of searching, bro was hiding fr. I also felt the music wasn't very fitting, and somthing eerier would've make a big difference (I also dont like noticing the loop every 20 seconds or so, that made the game a bit harder to commit to). I enjoyed juking the pursuer and managing my stamina. Overall job well done!
The next time please build the game instead of submitting your entire project file, I waited over 10 minutes extracting the zip just because I didn't wanna skip out on what you made. I'm glad I gave it a look because the art for LePiggler and Joe is awesome. I wish the bullets would go the direction I was looking rather than always going to the right, that made it useless to try and jump over Jungo and shoot him from behind. My best time right now is 10.02 because you can just skip LePiggler and Jungo
Can anyone get sub 10?

For a 48 hour jam, me and three of my friends made Time Slice! This was the winner of the small jam and we are proud of what we were able to accomplish! We put out a more polished build for download so you should try it out :)
Time Slice is a fast-paced platformer where you play as Aika and use her telekinetic powers to control her big sword and navigate the level, slicing through entities and launching yourself off of your sword.
The game can be played in 5 minutes (Theme of the Jam was "Only five minutes")
Cute little arcadey evolve game. It's fun and the dash is good. I love seeing the enemies on lower levels. The post processing adds to the arcadey feel. I really don't like the jitter when moving vertically. Also it would've been nice to evolve and be able to eat smaller enemies from earlier. I think the scope chosen for this game was smart for 48 hours.
