Thank you so much for playing and commenting! We're so glad you liked it!!

The pause menu is made up of four buttons that move separately. This is what the save button (the yellow pencil) looks like, and the others look pretty similar.

And these are the three transforms the save button uses. Each button has its own set of three transforms with a different delay before starting, which is why they wait their turn.

Thanks again for the lovely feedback!!!

Wanted to do something specific but had no idea how to implement it, and here's this incredible tool that's already done it. Thank you!

Hi! That sounds great, and we'd love to have you on board! Do you have discord? If you add me as a friend on there I can add you to our group chat - I'm "stolenoc"

Hi, Emma! I'm Danielle, thanks for replying. That sounds good! I'd love to help make your game. Did you want to talk about it on Discord, or somewhere else?

As for my work... maybe? I posted a shoot 'em up in another jam, years ago, and a few odds and ends on tumblr. Nothing too exciting as of yet :3

Heya! I'm a programmer, with a knack for implementing custom UIs and other tricky stuff in ren'py.  You can see my biggest project here, a fangame that I did all the programming for: https://lssalvationsquad.itch.io/loves-truck-final-stop

I'm also a writer, and put my own custom route in that game, which you can see a little of here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hxmJ9gl1TM

I'm looking for a team/partner to make something cool with. I'm more than happy to just help make whatever it is the team wants, but also I'm able to contribute to writing/ideas if that's what you're looking for. If you're interested, you can respond to me here or, if you prefer, I'm "stolenoc" on Discord.

We've got a team, but if there's anyone with music skills looking for a small squad to team with, hit me up!

Are you still looking for someone to team with? I've got a good bit of experience with Renpy, with a particular interest in programming custom UIs, like for this fangame I did all the UI work for https://lssalvationsquad.itch.io/loves-truck-final-stop

My skills are in renpy/python and writing. I don't mind overmuch what the actual game is about, though I'm very happy to contribute to writing/planning if that's what you're looking for too. NSFW is a-ok.

So cute! I love Poffin!!

Straight up the most fun I've had with a game in years. It's hilarious, and the four main characters play off each other in a really delightful way. I'm just sad it's over.

ahhh thank you!!

Thank you! Honestly i have trouble with the last couple of fights on normal mode, balancing was one of the things I left to the last minute haha

If you look up the top of the page when you visit it, you should see a button that says "Edit theme"- that's how you change the color scheme, add a banner, trailer video, stuff like that

It worked for me- you just have to click inside the window. It comes down to how you handle locking the mouse cursor in the game, but I think it'll always be a bit janky.

Also, I'm not sure about the white bars, but I assume it has to do with the aspect ratio you're working with- when you upload a Unity game, you might need to open the index.html file and change the dimensions written in there like "height="600px" width="960px", or whatever your dimensions are.

I'm really bad at making the sizes work, so I can't really help with the actual numbers you should use, but I think that's the problem.

Sounds interesting! Did you have a game idea in mind?

I'm available pretty often- except on Thursday and Friday aest, where I won't be at the computer all day.

I won't commit just yet, just to avoid disappointing people if there's a problem, but I'm definitely interested!

I'm a Unity developer! I'm working on a game called Candy Witch https://stolenoc.itch.io/witches-here-comes-candy?...

I like to have a side project, so if anyone has an idea, art, music- but no programmer- hit me up!

Heya! I'm a programmer, working on a game called Candy Witch! It's about cute witches and stuff! There's a super early version of it you can see here: https://stolenoc.itch.io/witches-here-comes-candy?...

I'm currently getting stuff I can't do- art and music, specifically- through commissions, and I'd love to talk with you about paying you for some art! At the moment I'm desperately in need of environment/level art (as you'll be able to see with the ugly placeholder stuff I'm using for the levels right now, hehe).

I'm also looking into improving the character sprites, so if you're more interested in doing that kinda thing, we can talk about that too!

It's not a super small project, but there's also absolutely no rush involved, since I'm making this in my spare time and not planning on making money off of it.

I could contact you on your twitter if you're interested? It's cool if this isn't what you're looking for, though!

It's a pretty effective tutorial! My only issue is that climbing walls might be a little hard for less savvy gamers to figure out. Maybe if there was something on the wall that made the player think "I should bite that wall"?

(Oh, and I assume it's just a debug thing, but having spacebar restart the demo is a cruel trick, haha)

The game looks neat!
