🔥🔥🔥
Keep up the good work!
DUDE THAT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD
Music is crazy.
Gameplay is crazy.
Theme interpretation is crazy.
Creativity is OFF THE CHARTS
And the art was SO HECKING GOOD, but I couldn't quite look at it while I was playing!! I would have loved to watch the sushi be made as I played it
Either way, this is a 10/10 from me!
I'm speechless. This game is SO FREAKING GOOD. I LOVED IT SO MUCH. The art style is unlike anything I've ever seen, and the music goes SO FREAKING HARD. I really liked the glow element throughout the whole gam, it makes it look really sick and polished. Everything is insane.
The only thing I didn't like is the difficulty, lol, but maybe that's just me.
I think it would be cool to have some way to combat the bullets.
Other than that, this game is so good, so polished, and just insane. (how did you make this in three days???)
This game is SO FREAKING POLISHED. I really liked it. Literally everything was awesome. The title screen alone is so sick. Great job!
I didn't find the game to be that hard once I figured out the mechanics lol
The art style is so good. I like how tiny the player is.
(And the music goes so hard, too :D)
This SUCH A GOOFY GAME! I love how original the concept is. It had me laughing for a good while into the game. The aesthetic is so good. The emotional music that played as I trained one of the floating head things for the first time was oddly satisfying, lol. The only thing lacking for me is replayability, but I'm sure other mechanics could be added to fix this. Awesome job!
This is a pretty sick game! I totally feel you with the time crunch lol. I was impressed by the initial design of the characters, but I think it's missing some animation to liven it up a little. The title screen is sick, I think I really captures the game as a whole/beginning (as title screens should do).
The AI is impressive, especially considering you only had, like, three days to make it!!
Only thing I'm missing is the theme, but maybe I'm not quite understanding it. It's funny, when ideas come to us game devs, we expect everyone to understand them. That's always been one of the tougher sides of game development for me: conveying my ideas properly.
I think you did a really great job of that until the reverb things. I don't get those. Either way, awesome job!
Oh, I also really like the mechanic where you can hit the opponent's dodgeball with your own. I know that's just like regular dodgeball, but still! That was probably pretty hard to code lol.
This game is SUCH A VIBE. The sounds, music, and visuals are sick. It feels great, sounds great, and looks great! The only thing I don't really get is how it relates to the theme, which could probably be fixed with a little opacity change or something. For me, the echoes seems more like health. Either way, it's a SICK game.
I would probably add some more mechanics. Right now, the game is really just tactical button mashing (for me at least) and I would love maybe a few levels/power-ups that add a little bit of advantage (or lack thereof) to shake things up a bit.
I love how the music speeds up in the background. Again, "Reverb" has such great aesthetics.
Great job!
Yeah, definitely! Thanks so much for the feedback. This was actually my first game jam (and half-decent game) so I am definitely open to all of the critiques! The stress level was real for me on this project lol. I'm thinking of doing a (major) bug fix update soon and I will DEFINITELY implement your ideas into the game. Thanks again!
