Good:

-The car physics were good

-The particles were a nice touch

-environment was a cool shape

Improvement:

-tutorial screen automatically disappeared before I could finish reading

-no depth/texture on environment so it was easy to lose track of direction

-no ability to manually change view of the camera was frustrating as I had to move in order to look around

-there was a good direction as to what I was supposed to do, but no way to complete it other than wandering aimlessley around which wasn't very fun in my opinion.

Hopefully you can build on the  work you've already done and the feedback here for your future projects. Good luck!

Very good game design.

A little laggy in browser.

The theme connection was pretty loose.

Very fun. Nice job!

Great job!

Things I liked:

*The controls were good

*Graphics looked nice

*Ui was really well done

Improvement:

*Could be a lot faster paced, I got bored waiting for enemies to kill each other

*Actions started to feel meaningless pretty fast since the only options I have in the game are which of the three tracks to send which soldier on... the soldiers all felt pretty much the same for playstyle, except the guys with a bow.

Overall a solid game.

Bravo. I was very impressed.

*Length of the game was perfect

*Controls felt really good

*Enough challenge to keep it interesting

*Music was calming

* Art and graphics were charming

Some  comments:

* Intro sequence felt a little drawn out, would have been nice to be able to speed up or skip

* I somehow lost the ability to place flags, but it didn't really affect the game because there were enough platforms for me to land on if I fell.

* The ending felt like it came out of nowhere. If you wanted to have a dramatic and meaningful ending, it would have worked better by preparing the audience through some earlier story beat or some such. As it was it just made me uncomfortable.

Overall, very nice game. One of the best I've played this jam.

You found the mistake lol. I was rushing the last level and forgot to move the start point to the correct spot. Thanks for playing!

Great job on the user interface. It all feels clean, professional, and fun to play.

As for gameplay, it did get a bit stale after a while. The choices felt completely random as to outcome, like what I did didn't really affect the game it was all chance.

Audio and visuals are top-tier. Great job on those.

Overall awesome job.

Good:

-The combat was suprisingly fun. Unfortunately I died because 3 ships came all at once. =P.

-The starting cutscene and the title art are really good.

-Ship callouts/text was a very nice feature.

Improvement:

-The map was a nice touch. It did provide some direction, but unfortunately the game didn't provide a sense of what I would be doing at the start. It felt more like a wander than an expedition.

Reminds me that sometimes simple games are the most fun. I didn't have to scratch my head or look up tutorials, I just had fun.

Some things I like:

*Scoped gameplay. Im not gonna have to sit here for an indefinite amount of time, I have a set number of levels to complete.

*Creativity goes wild. I can play parts on the ship anywhere, and I can deal with the consequences (like putting laser guns that hit my own ship... oops)

*Gameplay loop. Sometimes I'm fighting, sometimes dodging, and sometimes I get to build my ship.

*The music is ver groovy. :)

Some room for improvement:

*Visuals could use some work. Get a theme for your text so the font looks nice. Get some UI assets. The textures could be a lot more readable.

*Audio could also use work. Its not terrible and gets the job done, but just feels confusing at times.

Great work.

Wow.

Visuals: Great. Its a super fun art style. random things happen in the background too.

Audio: Amazing. Feels super alive, and is a really good use case of the acapella wild card.

Theme: Not really there. I guess expedite does technically fit the theme 'expedition', but most of the game wasn't even about expediting the meeting, just about not getting caught (though in the end if you win, it does expedite the meeting).

Game design: It was a unique challenge as to timing when to let go of the key. It was hard for me to figure out what the  best strategy was and I tried several, which helped keep me engaged.

Okay first the good:

The art is amazing. It is very thematically consistent and feels super professional. The animation is nice to look at.

The sound design is also pretty good. Gives the game life.

Now the not so good:

The difficulty is too hard from a frustration/direction/controls standpoint. I mean that the direction you are meant to go in is not usually made clear. Eventually you figure it out through trial and error.  The controls are confusing at first. I would have appreciated the ability to edit your control scheme.

I got stuck on a portion of the game for a long time and couldn't figure out how to use the ability.

Its a very challenging experience. A little frustrating that I had to give up because I couldn't get out of the forest. The controls scheme is super unique and feels like it has a pretty high skill ceiling. I think increasing the speed you can shoot again would make the game feel less frustrating to play. I also appreciated the accessibility settings and character customization.

The art assets are very well done.  I like the story as well. Good job!

The game feels great to play. Good job on all the ui.

Just one ending. Thanks for playing to the end!

🔥

Glad you liked it! Sorry about the game crash 😕

was going to be addicting so I had to stop playing. Nice job haha

Looks awesome!

this is so sick. great job

sweet!

Ok, it appears this is a common issue with 3D games on Firefox. If you still want to play the game, you could download the .exe file or play it in a different browser. :D

Hi! Could you let me know what browser you are on? (Chrome, firefox, edge, etc.) Could you also let me know what operating system? (Apple, Microsoft, etc.)

Thanks for the feedback!

This game was my childhood :)
