Wow this is great! Adore the shark's model. The gameplay is certainly just guessing, but what a great use of the theme. I played through a couple times and both of them were super funny. I did manage to say some nice things though! Yeah this is fantastic all around, thank you for this lmao.

Wow this is so pretty! Really well put together all around. Movement feels nice but a little weird.
 I appreciate that the slopes have some stuff going on! Pops you up quite a bit when you run over them. 
The atmosphere is just so nice, which I see is what you spent most of your time on. I couldn't figure out how to use the thing you collect, if you can.. but yeah this is gorgeous, well done!

Yeah swapping randomly definitely should get you killed. You're supposed to plan when you swap modes between the two bots to avoid being killed & to get help from the bot you need. The game was submitted in a bad state with a bad level, so I get that the gameplay is lost and seems pointless. Ah well.

??? only in the intro where I have it scripted to not target you. Otherwise it kicks you to death or shoots you.

I LOVE this in looks and idea for freakin sure. I found the plane hard to really aim with, with how the controls feel. I tried it with a controller and that felt nice. Would love to invert up and down though.
I like the robot mode, but I couldn't get the area clear enough for it to be safe and kept dying pretty quick.

Even if I'm not too good at it, this is really cool and I'm totally impressed.

Yeah I think a lot of us take "mode" as being able to switch modes, but that's really just one way to go about it. It's how I went about it haha. The "mode" of how we're playing golf here is def different than the norm. 

Hey this was super cute. Really well put together and charming. I love the HUD element for the clocking tool. Ending was cute haha.

The art style looks so good and is so well done & cohesive. Super cool stuff. Gameplay is fun & I really like the different shooting styles being out of our control. Enemy variety is cool too. Good job on this!

Hey thank you so much. If we had more time and lowered our scope a bit we would have had tutorial levels that ease into stuff. The level that's playable is more so a hodge podge of mechanics that I slapped in one room while I programmed them unfortunately 

Hey thank you! My partner on the project actually did those and knocked it out of the park imo. His tag is BubblegumWalrus. 

I realize now that I still need to put full credits in the description oops. BGW came up with the idea and did all the environmental art & I coded everything & did the character art too. Music by Brand. It makes me super happy to hear people appreciating what's there since the actual game is such a mess 😅! I've already fixed it post jam though. Wish I had another day or twooo.

Hey just tried it out, pretty neat! The sprite work is really cute. 
Pretty solid coding for what's here and the idea is nice. I like the difference in shooting types & the plant one is pretty cool. The resistances and critical hits are a good implementation of the idea.
Beyond that it did feel pretty same-y with the enemies. With some move variety in attack types from them it might feel a little more engaging.

But also everything works plus you got a title screen and how to play set up, making your entry feel fully put together.

thanks, yeah we really liked the idea a lot. We knew it would be a stretch to pull off but were too attached to it to let it go haha. 


Yeah absolutely! I'll check it out tomorrow and let ya know my thoughts. Today I'm trying to recover from 4 days of almost no sleep. Went a little too hard at it this jam for sure. 

Hey thank you! Yeah I'm really embarrassed about the state the game is in. That level is really just a cluster of mechanics to test them as I added them. We ran out of time to make proper levels or tutorials like we had planned. In hindsight I shoulda dropped the intro and just made good levels. Plus the boxes are super jank. The shame I have for where this game is now is a huge motivation to keep working on it and do it right now that the time pressure is gone. I almost didn't wanna submit it, but it is what it is!


I found myself getting really annoyed with big bot too lol. I'll give him some good tinkering.

Interesting. This version is old and outdated by the gx games version anyway. I appreciate ya checkin it out here and I'm thrilled that people like the game.

hey this version is way way older than the gx games one! I'm glad you like all the updates. I started having a lot of issues updating the HTML version on here so I moved it to GX Games.

Honestly that makes me even happier that you like what this has over the jam version! I'd love to know your thoughts on where it's at now too if ya wanna ; o

Question though! Did you play the HTML version here? This one is pretty outdated now because the HTML kept having issues. The download or the demo on GX Games are more up to date and have a lot more updates : O

haha this feels a little hectic but I like it.
Are those wind sound effects recorded with your voice? Cracked me up. At one point I got dog piled by the other robots and was able to hide under their weight for a while. That was funny. I like it.

& the camera might be fixed in the outhouse.
I don't trust it though.

I'm gonna see if I can learn how to make it work on phones next.

the HTML build stuff is super new to me

finding some issues, working on fixes. The end gets messed up and idk why. lots of weird things mess up when switching to HTML.
Def recommend downloading the game for the best experience and framerate. Browser version is more of a sample anyway, will likely downgrade it eventually and keep the main game for the downloading bit.
