holding shift shouldnt cause anything like that…I may need to double check the programming for that or something to make sure its working properly. might be worth combing through those journal entries to see which one doesnt have both (should be two captions and the monstrae’s stats if you have everything)

if you just wanna craft the bluewood spirit, its just one of each of the bluewood middle spirits, a middle mucila talisman, and the item meluzae drops

each monstrae has two entries, and you need both to unlock the recipe. Most are locked behind a loss or re-encounter scene, although I’ve heard [depending on the monstrae] it doesnt always give you the entry if you skip the scene, which im gonna fix next update

As long as you have the ingredients, you get them in the crafting section of the menu

Disabling both would leave you with like three or four encounters rn, femboy and futanari is half the point of the game

depends on the region, for the Bluewoods you need to finish the main quest, and for Blackshore you just need to have it’s statue unlocked although you need to have at least encountered a monstrae to view its scenes

I released a pretty huge update to my game about a month ago but it never got bumped in that tab for whatever reason. My game (also 18+) gets a lot of its traffic from a pretty niche tag so being higher up on that page can be pretty important.

Yep, I’m aware of this bug. Dunno what’s causing it tbh but im looking into how to fix it For now, you can skip the tutorial, or if you wish to complete it, apparently trying to fight some other monstrae beforehand seems to reliably make the tutorial work as intended

I don’t have any plans to, no If you are having trouble in combat I recommend crafting and summoning some spirits; you are given materials for free after you get the Journal, and the Journal has a skill to randomly summon a spirit without consuming a talisman

i hate to sound insensitive, but have you been under a rock? itch deindexed pretty much every adult game on their site under pressure from mastercard and some other payment processors. Theyre apparently combing through and removing a bunch of games from this place now they even put an update out about it here

Q. Will general encounters like the Gloom Naga, Timber Siren, etc ever be getting custom CGs?

A. Probably not, you’d have to sub to my Patreon or SubStar and specifically request for them to. I have a lot of regions and different monstrae planned, so I mostly take a quantity over quality approach with the general encounters. I try to take the opposite approach for named NPCs though, so you can expect them to have custom CGs and more content in general.

Q. Will [insert fetish here] be in the game?

A. Depends, obviously. Some stuff that isn’t in the game yet but definitely might be are oviposition, feminization, and transformation (probably some others that I’m forgetting). My hard limits are gore/violence, bathroom kinks (scat, piss, vomit, etc), anal vore, and a handful of other niche things. I’m also not gonna add your fursona to the game even if you sub to the $20 tier, I just hate snouts, sorry.

Q. Will Sam be able to top any of the monstrae?

A. Probably, I just havent been very interested in writing that kind of scene yet.

There’ll definitely be some bugs when you transfer the save BUT I am adding a few debug options to fix them if need be; where to find them will be explained once the update is released :)

Thanks :) the coding for the combat changes is honestly almost done i just need to tweak the numbers so it feels better

I probably will mess with the quest entries in the Journal to give better instructions on how too start most quests, although tbf Blackshore is intended to be a side region so stumbling into the area’s main quest is kinda on brand lmao

And yeah for now Predecessor’s Trail ends when you get the Quill from Anvera

you can make more than just little critters at least! although for now its just the Bluewood Spirit. with more updates I’ll gradually add more and more major spirits, some of which will be femboys tho byea I liked the idea of crafting spirits a bit more that recruiting monstrae, and at this point in development its not something im likely to change unfortunately

I think in the version available here, the only named NPCs with scenes are Meluzae and the Bluewood Spirit, but yeah they both have custom illustrations for their content :)

there’ll be some minor improvements to the portrait alts for enemies in the next update, but im generally gonna keep custom illustrations reserved for named NPCs rather than general encounters. i have a lot of encounters planned for the game and this is how im limiting my workload

You can visit the major spirits youve created in Sitria’s Crypt, when you go in there should be symbols on the ground on either side of the path that’ll take you to them

The Journal does have additional abilities, but theyre granted by items you may have picked up. A few of them can be found in Esmeralda’s shop and another can be found out in the wild

If you’re worried about your levels, you can retrieve most of them from whichever monstrae had vored you, and a gallery of sorts will be available in the next free update that’ll let you enjoy the scenes without the risk of losing levels :)

You need one of each middle spirit to craft the Bluewood spirit, and you’re only supposed to have up to three spirits summoned at a time. There may be a bug in this version that lets a fourth spirit be summoned however

ive got an old announcement post detailing what’s being added, its around the same amount of content as 0.1.1 I’d say, probably a little less. new map, couple new monstrae, new interactions with the slime queen

i will mention the new content won’t be added to the public version here until 0.1.3, it’s gonna be SubStar only until then

as far as Sitria’s content goes, it’ll be a while longer before I expand her content. she’s going to be a central figure to the plot so her content is going to be built up rather slowly
