I understand your point, but the slower start is intentional — as you said, a lot of games do this. I don’t see it as a bad mechanic; it’s meant to ease players in and not overwhelm them. After manual clicking, the first automation upgrade is meant to feel like a small milestone.

This is my first game made while learning the Godot Engine. It’s a small, clicker/incremental resource-management game about bees, honey, and trying to be as efficient as possible.

Yes, you need to collect flowers to get honey first and then you can spend it to get the first bee.
