The music was composed using Suno AI, but every track was then processed by hand through a real PlayStation 1 SPU hardware emulator, sample rate reduction, ADPCM compression, Gaussian interpolation, SPU reverb calibration. The creative direction, stage research, and engineering decisions are all human. So yes, AI is involved in the composition side, but there's a significant amount of manual work on top of it. I am going to add a section in the description about this.
Hey everyone, just released a new audio asset pack and wanted to share it properly rather than just dropping a link.
FLAT OUT is a PS1 rally game audio pack. 37 tracks inspired by the late-90s PlayStation rally game soundtrack. If you grew up with games like that and remember the driving electronic house rhythms, the geographic stage variety, the tension of a night stage, this is built around that sound.

WHAT'S IN THE PACK
10 Geographic Stage Themes, each one built around the character of its real rally location. Scotland is damp and foggy UK house at 125 BPM. Norway is slow and tense at 118 BPM because speed isn't what that stage is about. Argentina is dramatic at 128 BPM with Andes gravel, thousand-metre drops, and thin air. Every stage has a specific place and feeling behind it.
14 Racing Tracks, covering specific driving moments: maximum speed, braking zones, night driving, gravel spray, split-second recoveries, the final push. Several come in two versions. V1 and V2 are the same scenario at different points. Attack Mode V1 is the entry, V2 is the car already committed sideways.
5 Modern Rally House tracks with clean modern production and no PS1 processing. Wide stereo, full sub-bass, 128 to 138 BPM. For projects that want a current sound alongside the retro material.
8 UI Music Tracks covering a complete menu suite. Three title screen versions, main menu, car setup, settings menu, and two podium/results screen versions. All PS1 SPU processed.

THE PS1 SOUND
All tracks in Sections 1, 2 and 4 were processed through a true PlayStation 1 SPU hardware emulator, Sound Processing Station VST by Ultima DSP. 22050 Hz sample rate, ADPCM 8-bit compression, Gaussian interpolation, hardware SPU reverb, natural 8kHz roll-off. The compression artifacts are preserved, not cleaned.

Commercial use requires purchase. Full commercial license included for games, film, monetized video, and client work.

Happy to answer any questions about the tracks, the processing, or whether it fits a specific project. If you're building something rally or racing-related, just ask.
The return on my time and effort isn't very satisfactory. That's why I've taken a break from creating. The site also has assets that aren't PS1 (PSX)-related, but are popular due to fake traffic. And the site isn't taking any action on this. So, I've lost some enthusiasm for it. But if things return to their old ways in the future, why not? :) And thank you fo the Godot guide for godot developers, take care.
