You nailed the theme, aesthetics and sound! I like the limited color palette and how everything is moving. Hovering over a card feels good.

I like your interpretation of the theme.
The tune was really catchy, and I enjoyed the concept. Same as the others, though, I was sad when the orders stopped coming :(

Love the style and the sound. The game leans more into golf than soccer for me, but I really enjoyed it

The biblical angel endboss sprite was pretty cool. It took a while to get into it, but the gameplay is good! Now I am interested in the lore I guess

I had a lot of fun. Wanted to reach 400 but only got to 391. When I misspelt something, deleting a single character would delete two at the same time, which was when I had to give up on that word. I think this probably has to do with my non-English keyboard and Mac OS?

Also (non-English speaker here): Were some words misspelt or did I overlook a letter? I.e "goverment"?

Wow thank you very much for taking your time playing the game! Really appreciate your critique. Wish we would have had another day for polishing and fixing bugs (haha)

My favorite game. So cute and fun. Love the idea it fits the theme and I think it is well executed.

Gorgeous art style, love the color choice and the hand drawn animation!

Thank you very much!

Hey thank you for your constructive feedback! I totally agree with you, the balancing definitely fell short and the enemy AI needs work. Without spawning on the player's side, the enemy would barely be able to score. I think the scope was too ambitious but we accepted the chaos and the bugs (pun intended) :D

Nice, thank you for playing and sharing your best time!

We had to scrap a lot in the end and had bugs but here it is: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-127-cats/rate/1956111#post-7444311

Thank you very much! I definitely agree on the reset button, we were on a time crunch.

I agree, the mechanics are weird but still thank you for your kind words :)

Glad you like it! Thank you very much :)

Aww thank you very much for your detailed comment! Glad our idea came through :)

Thank you very much! :)

This is a hidden gem 0: I really like the cute aesthetics and the gameplay. Overall seems executed really well. Please continue this one!!

Interesting (humorous) theme and snappy gameplay. Overall a cool game, although I am not a big fan of the different fonts used

Wow, the pixelart is stunning. I also liked your sound effects and the general gameplay. Really solid game!!

Aww, thanks a lot :)

Thank you, that is nice to hear! :)

Thank you for your feedback! :)

Thank you very much! :)

It is chaotic (neutral) and refreshing at first but it gets wonky really fast. I see it as funny though. Love the general creative direction

This game is hard (to be fair: I am not good at quick responsive games..) but it is a fun concept and fits the theme well. Presentation works and everything is distinguishable but I do think it is your weakest link.

Superb monochromatic presentation! Looks really cool. I also like the idea but I wish the platforming had more variation

Simple and accessible game with easy controls. I like the idea and the moving background. I would have loved a highscore for comparisons sake

This game looks really polished and pro! I enjoyed the idea, level design and execution. The puzzle animation at the end is really cute. As everyone above said, really impressive for just 48 hours and a team of two. :)

Cute and quick to understand game. I like the simple 8-bit style. Weird control scheme for player 1 though, but after looking it up i got it, the sidebar was well placed for that.
