Thank you for playing, I really appreciate the feedback. Would you be willing to tell me what browser you use and if you have graphics acceleration turned on in your browser settings. I'm trying to replicate the bug so after the jam I can fix it. If your not comfortable sharing I completely understand but if your are it would be a huge help. Thank You

I can't seem to replicate the bug so I'm not really sure what a work around would be but if you are interested in trying the other levels I could post the map if it would help you navigate to the other levels.

I did have a world where you could shift the gravity counter clockwise or the blocks would shift it in whatever direction they were pointing, I think it was the 8th and/or 9th level. I'd have to check to be sure

Yeah that happened to another person I tried to fix it in the bug window but I couldn't really figure out why as it only happened to one person at the time. I'll definitely fix it after the jam. Anyway thank you for the kind words, I am equally as impressed with myself as this was my first jam(I've made a couple games in the past but not in a jam).

Its a pretty cool game. It's cool that you did everything from scratch. I think that a little more knockback would have been nice because it took me forever to get past the geometric boss. The controls could use a little tweaking as well. But other than that I thought it was pretty good. Keep up the good work!

I thought it was really good and polished feeling. I would have liked the upgrades to be a little cheaper or there being some cost to going in and out of the den cause I found it easier to just do quick short trips rather than invest in the upgrades. Either way I thought the loop was very well implemented. I thought the art especially the crafting menus were quite charming. I think that if you were interested in continuing this project it would be very fun with some more fleshed out progression and maybe some story elements. Either way I really enjoyed playing it.

I enjoyed this a lot. It feels very polished and the controls feel really nice. I thought the dialogue felt quite natural and didn't impede on the games flow too much. Very Nice!

Hey, mine is a bit over 20 so if you don't check it out that's cool but if you have the extra time I'd love to hear what you think.

I couldn't figure out how to spell it backwards, I hope this counts: ʇɐɔoɔɐʇ.

Anyway here's my game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/429784

It means that you have to get at least 20 ratings to qualify to win regardless of your score. It so someone can't  get one 5 star rating from a friend and then win the jam. It's also supposed to get a variety of people to rate your game so it isn't as bias towards the rater's personal preferences.

Here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4297847 Please let me know what you think.

Just played yours. I left a rating and a comment on your jam page.

Pretty good, I like the theme and the different worlds are very diverse. A progress bar might be nice, to know how much is left of the given level but otherwise its a very nice and polished feeling game.

Just played it.  I rated and left a comment your games page. You guys just need one more rating to hit 20!!!

I liked it a lot. The theme is really solid and the everything works well. One thing I would add is a sound effect when an enemy is hit just to add a little extra impact and make it clear when contact is made. Also a crosshair would be nice nice. If you were to expand it more after the jam I would recommend adding some upgrades between waves or even during like COD zombies. But other than that a really good and enjoyable game, Nice work.

Just played yours. I rated and left a comment its page. Also you just hit 20 rates!!! Nice job.

Edit: Also have you seen a submission that you really liked that you think is underappreciated/not many rates?

This is a very interesting game, and well done. The place is quite strange. I'd be interested to hear some of the story/lore behind it. At first I thought it was a confused on what to do but after you get to the table it is pretty easy to figure out. My one complaint(its really minor) would be that on the end screen, your mouse remains locked so you can't actually click quit. Overall, a really solid game.

Hello,

I'd like to see both your games and your favorite submission/submission you think is underappreciated. I want to help as many games  as possible get to at least 20 ratings. So I'll probably prioritize submissions that don't have 20 yet but once I get through the rest I'll go back through and rate the rest as well. I'll do my best to rate and give some feedback in the comments. If you feel so inclined to please leave a comments after rating my game cause I'd love to hear any feedback(good or bad) you may have.

My Game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4297847

P.S. I have midterms this week so it may take me a while to get to them all but I do my best to get to them all before rating is over

I love the way the head moves, and the how the honk effect spells honk. The gameplay is pretty fun. The only thing i wish there was was a sprint or some sort of faster travel.

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4297847 Let me know what you think. I'll play yours rn.

Oh that's strange. Yeah, it is definitely supposed to follow the player. I'll see if I can figure out why. Thank You for letting me know

Thank you!! Did you happen to know the last level you were able to complete so I can try to figure out what went wrong.

This game was really fun to play. I love the combination of a balatro style game loop mixed with a unusual game mechanic like cake stacking. It would be sick if you added something sort of like balatro's jokers that add a effect no matter what cake is on the stack but I understand a week is a pretty short amount of time to balance a game like that. Either way a great game, that I enjoyed playing.

Thank you!! It means a lot to hear someone liked it so much. I’ll have to try your game out, I’ll be sure to leave a comment in its page to let you know what I think.

This is my first jam. I'd love a rating and some feedback. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4297847

I would love to hear what you think of my game. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4297847 I'll definitely check yours out.

I'd love for you to play mine. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4297847

I'd love for you to check out my game and let me know what you think in the comments. It's a short puzzle platformer. Here's the link: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4297847.  I'll definitely check yours out too.

Oh my game has a similar mechanic but the the player can't change at will, but instead through an in game item. It's pretty cool to see another version of the idea. If you have time I'd love to hear what you think of version of my take on the mechanic. I love the humor and art. So far one of my favorite submissions.

The sound design is 10 out of 10. The gameplay was fun I just wish there were more power-ups and maybe that the rift ability was expanded upon more. Still a very good play, would recommend to any one looking for a quick fun submission to play.

The visuals are really good but the gameplay is really hard to grasp at first. I think with just a bit of gameplay tweaking and some better tutorials it would be quite compelling right off the bat. The biggest thing is just that it feels luck based, you could do everything right but a gap could just be too big after you change worlds there is nothing you could do(at least within a normal reaction time)(I might just be bad at it, idk). Nonetheless good game and Impressive for your first jam.

Yay! I'm glad to hear

Thank you, I believe I had just set the window size incorrectly in itch.io so it should be working now

Oh I see what you mean, I hadn't tested on a smaller monitor. I think I fixed it just by setting the size of the window in the itch.io page. Was the map scene a similar problem or was something else the not working properly.
