It is hard to find coherent sound for games. I downloaded a collection from your site to check out if it's working with my games in pipeline. I'm only a coder. So this is very helpful.

I see you believe in human. Me too. Otherwise you wouldn't give so much work away for free. We all get back what we give. In the one or the other way.

Hello I opend a seek for sfx&vgm topic. I made a game just for fun with a bit help from other app game kit developers. You can look into it on my page if you want. It is the third version of this game I called "Crystals" and made but at that time in other programming languages (BlitzPlus & BlitzMax). When it's completely finished (now in version V.0.9) then I will work on my other project (a random side scroll arcade shooter. Jump, fly, shoot and destroy). Until now I need for "Crystals" 8 sound effects, a menu theme and ingame theme. It's a remake of an old arcade game and were in variants played on Sega. The problem with random sound collections is, it does not match or it's incoherent.

Btw the Ember and Thread Demo & Lunar Scavenge sounds nice. I am a fan of ambient music.

So that's enough for me today. here it is 00h:34m. see U perhaps if there is interest to try out a bit.

Search someone (or maybe two) who have interest in making a small coherent sound collection and 2 tracks as theme and ingame music just for fun or for training.

It is a small Arcade game from the 90s. A Block fall and Crystals explode. The Project is non profit and created in AGK and available in the browser as html5. It is in Version 0.9999... but some things could change. By the reason it's non profit I can only give credits. It is my first Game on Itch.io so there is much to do and read for me but I have help on my side.

The music should be modern but remember to the retro times of the game. Otherwise I have no clear vision how it should be.

At the Moment it looks like I need these 8 SFX Files as .wav or .ogg:

  • sndnextlvl.wav
  • sndexplode.wav
  • sndblockfall.wav
  • sndblockdrop.wav
  • sndshuffle.wav
  • sndmenu.wav
  • sndmenuselect.wav
  • sndscore.wav

If you are experienced it's good but not a need. We all are in a learning process.

thx for looking into the post and maybe a coop. Contact me here, I will see.
