awesome, I’ll check it out! 😁

Yay hopefully I can catch the stream (or at least see the VOD!)

I ended up having a couple of days of free time to squeak out Vita Viridis - https://itch.io/jam/igmc-rebirth/rate/1648473

Not as big or puzzly as I'd have aimed for if I'd had the full time, but I hope you have some fun with it! :D

Thanks for the playthrough! I'm sorry my bridges hurt you so. X'D
For where you left off - you can freeze the water with the ice powers to cross over rivers.  :)

Ahhh, thank you!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it and also managed to finish. Nicely done! :D

Ahh, thank you for a truly lovely comment! I'm glad it brought you joy! :D

If you don't mind, what were the glitches you encountered? I apologise for the rushed state of things!
The boss battle is a little strange. XD (Spoilers!!) (the first step is to activate the orbs when he flashes their colour.  Then, in the fire attach you want to hold shift just as he starts flashing faster (do this 3x). The final step is to punt the ice boulder at him - and then to fire-dash when he is stunned!)

Thank you so much for giving it a try! :D (I tried to have a look on your Twitch but aside from a clip (XD) I could not see when you played it - let me know and I'll check it out! :D Your playthroughs are all great. :D

Awesome! Hope you're having a lot of fun. :D
My game is very short (15-30min at most), and features some simple puzzles.

https://itch.io/jam/igmc-rebirth/rate/1648473

Thank you! I hope you enjoy. :3

(Please note it should be played with the keyboard and may not work if you use the mouse)

I second that! Just because it would be really interesting to see how it goes. :D

Ah, that's my bad! I should have made a note that it can be played properly with keyboard only - sorry!
I'm not used to making games that respond to the mouse ^^"

Oh no! How are you stuck?

If you're not sure where to go, you can go down to find the fire elemental again. :)

(To move between maps, press the arrow key down when at the border)

I enjoyed this!

A bit repetitive, and a few more NPCs to interact with could have been fun. But overall I did have a fun time playing. :) The humour was fun but not sure why I *warning spoilers* couldn't interact more with the red haired dude after hearing about a thief.

Absolutely fantastic!

The combat is super fluid and engaging. I loved how the sword is what leveled up and the visual changes to it! Fun storyline and great level design. :D

Both endings are brilliant. Great humour!

Ah-ha! That makes sense, thank you so much for taking the time to write that up.
I see what caused that error. I'll have to figure out how to fix it for the post-jam version! :D

Thank you so much - and I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Ah, thank you! I really appreciate the feedback!

And oh no! Where did you get stuck/ do you have the steps you did to get there? Apologies for the bug! I ended up only having a couple days to work on it so the bug-hunting definitely wasn't perfect. ^^' Thanks for catching that!
Hopefully the autosave didn't push you too far back!

Thank you! I'll definitely be trying out yours when I get back from work. :D

Hi Whyms!

I created a very short (15-30mins) super simple 'RPG puzzle' game: https://itch.io/jam/igmc-rebirth/rate/1648473

It was mostly just an excuse to test out some mechanic ideas and practice eventing. :D
I hope it brings you joy!
It has both .exe and a .zip version (since the exe can be a bit funny?) for windows.

Ahhhh thank you!! I really appreciate it. Thank you for finding that pesky typo, too! Those things are so good at hiding.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

Hahaha, I love the humour, and the concept! Lots of fun. :D

Thanks Rocdan! <3 Thank you for helping me playtest. :D

Hahaa thank you! First project of this nature I've ever finished. :'D

Hahaha, thanks Phoenix. Appreciate the support! <3
(And yes I love Epic NPC Man. Too underrated!)

Heck yeah! Your game is 100% on my "ooooh definitely gonna play that!!" list so sign me up. :D

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the whole atmosphere. <3

Hi @PixyMoon,

Adorable looking assets! I bought this and the .zip file is empty?

There don't seem to be any spritesheets in it - and it is only 22Bytes (way too small!).

Heyy! Starting-late buddies! :D I also only started two days ago - and what with working two jobs and having two (very) demanding parrots, I only get 2-3 hours of 'dev' time a day.  :') But it'll be fun to give it a go anyway, for sure!!

I really must second everyone else on the art-style - it's great! Love the nostalgic feel.

Good luck, and I'll definitely be giving yours a play down the line. :D

Oh wow! This is fantastic. I really love the look and feel. Did you make the art and music yourself??

Thank you for the PSA. Honestly, I appreciate it as someone who also gets hideous migraines (though thankfully not seizures!) from flashing images. :')

Oh dang, this looks completely awesome!!

Aaa thank you! I'm super excited to play yours honestly - Monster collecting?

Those screenshots look awesome.  How the heck are you making this in RPG maker!? o.O

I'll be making something a lot less impressive - just aiming to complete a very short puzzle-ish game. x'D

Good luck!! I'm sure we will both make something awesome in the shorter time. :D

Oh wow, that's a great offer to put out there! Hopefully, I can make time to actually make something - If so I will definitely send it to you! <3

Kia ora all! :D

This will be the first Game Jam I've ever participated in.... definitely not making it any easier for myself by starting so late! :'D
