it should be in an email... somewhere in the apartments 😁 Did you find the flashlight and the crowbar?

The code for what? 😁

Omg thank you so much! <3 That is wonderful to hear! :D

I will do my best in order to score a hattrick! I wont go lightly this year 😁 You all better prepare!

Sorry for not having responded to your message earlier! I'm happy to see that Christener came to the rescue! It seems like both of your English are just great! :D

I hope you both enjoyed the short little game <3

Hey! Thanks for a wonderful comment! The sound designer was very pleased to read about your comment regarding the music! Me and him have already decided that we'll continue to work on this project so that we can release it on Steam and Itch early 2022!

I got 3 years of uni studying game design and have been making my own little games for a few years now, so I got quite a bit of game design experience :)

Thanks again for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hey!

Thank you so much for liking the game as much as you did! I'm honoured to have you say such kind words. Might I ask who "us" are? :D

I got more plans in store for the antagonist and this game in particular. So in the somewhat near future I hope to have something to show!

Again, thank you so much for the lovely words!

Holy crap!

Thank you so much for giving such thorough feedback! It's just so good! I'm sad that my level design idea for the second house didn't work for you x'D that just goes to show that I need to work on it more! And hhnnnngggg... the clock puzzle. Such a love/hate relationship with that one! But any kind of hate towards it just means that there are things to do better. I'm gonna have to go back to it and see if it's even worth having for the next iteration :)

Thanks again for the wonderful feedback! I hope to make it better in the future!

Man I forgot to reply here on Itch... Thank you so much for taking your time to play it! It was a blast watching your video :)

Thanks for always giving my long and confusing games so much time and effort! I hope that one day I get subtitles and shorter voice acting lines for you to experience 😂

Holy noly what a lovely video! Im gonna keep it short here and leave a proper comment on youtube. But man, thank you so much for taking your time playing. It was an absolute JOY to watch the video! Thanks!

That sure was a wonderful landscape to walk around in! Well done with that! The map made it also very clear where you needed to go and navigate around the forest. Took me a while to find the drunkard tho! Haha!

I did see the end coming quite early, but that still didn't take away the positive experience! Well done!

Some really creepy stories in there! I think I managed to skip Level 3 access and got Level 4 access before that? I don't know if that was meant to happen, but I think I finished the game by walking into the door? Either way! It was creepy to read those stories in the silence!

Good job!

Very interesting puzzles to solve. It got my mind twisted for quite some time! haha! Really well done with the environments, I thought they had such a unique feeling to them so replaying was a blast! The island one was the hardest one to crack, oooo boy!

Good job!

Woooo! Well done! It really reminded me of the first projects that I did back in the UDK days. I did get some System Shock vibes from the get-go, so... I kiiinda saw what was coming ;)

Good job on the VA and your first game!

Sorry for the late response. Thanks for playing!

I was lucky enough to get this video and its insane how much effort went behind the whole thing. This is such a great example of how feedback should be worded, constructed and presented. So much of this is its weight in gold for developers like me. Not to mention the importance of patience and accessability. Thank you again for taking your time to not only play but also give great commentary of my submission! It means more to me than you would ever know.

Im glad you liked it! 💚🙂

Very interesting! It was nice to walk in some beautiful landscapes with some chill music, it made it feel like an adventure. I wish that you had the option to choose yourself as a player what would happen at the end! But it was a nice twist! Good job!

Oooo I'm so thrilled to see someone have controls like that! It really sets an atmosphere. You are almost worried that there will be someone standing behind you when you turn around! Well done with that and the story, I'm glad it had such a positive ending! :)

Good job with the game! I had a little bit of a problem to figure out where to go but it worked out in the end hehe.

I think I got two endings! I liked the pixelated texture style to an otherwise sharp 3D world! The music was really well made too, was pretty catchy. I do say tho, the way to open doors are a little bit strange, but it worked out non the less!

Cool concept, I hope you had a good time making it! Good job!

It was a surprisingly nice experience to play a solely puzzle focused first-person game. I loved how empty the house felt thanks to how quiet it was, only being able to hear your own footsteps and the likes. The house felt like a real home which also brought the feeling of it being just recently abandoned very real.

It was an interesting way of looking into someone's life like that and how down to earth it was. And the ending was really great! So many small details slowly came together!

Well done! It really made me want to look up more games like this because it was a nice change for me to just sit back and enjoy the ride with some clever puzzles! Solid entry in the competition!

PS. The game could've gotten a 3/10 due to me being able to bug the lights so that they were turned on while the switch was in the off state. But It's getting a solid 1/10 because I wasn't able to flush the toilet.

I got a bit confused a few times because I think the years were a bit out of order :P Other than that I think you all did a good job! It was an interesting way of telling a story. I wish there were a few more options :)
Well done reusing the same scenes while still making them feel relevant to the story and following their lives. The story itself was really heartwarming and got a nice message to tell.

Good job everyone!

I think I managed to finish the game without getting any of the items the first time around? xD Anyways, I replayed it and got all the items. I really like the style you went for in this project! I hope you'll keep making games and learn more!

Well done for your first packaged game!

Wonderful little experience! Liked the voice acting, the falling floor bit and the ending. Well put together in just two weeks! Good job!

A really nice concept and well put together atmosphere that made the old man feel lonely and isolated. I really enjoy the perspective play and how well the mechanics worked with the story! The ending also had a good twist.

Really well done! Good job!

PS. Next time, double-check the grammar ^^

Wonderful game! For being a 2-week jam, there sure is a lot of content! Got some serious Firewatch and The Forest vibes from this one. While the intro was a bit slow it really took me into an awesome atmosphere later on (I think you know what I mean, without spoiling anything). As per usual with game jam games, there are some smaller issues that I stumbled upon but nothing that I felt took away from the experience overall. Good job with the writing! It, just like the intro with the mechanics, took a little while but it really grew on me as the game went on. Well done! Really made me want to make something in a similar fashion!

Good luck in the competition!

I would say about an hour, give or take :)

Thanks for taking your time playing it :D

Hi! You use on the bookcase in the kids room. Looking at the house blueprints you'll see that is covering up something important...! :)

Eyy! Thank you so much! I'll try to give your submission a go when I find some time! :)

I'm so shocked that people liked the voice acting x'D Thank you for taking the time playing it. It really means a lot :)

Hahaha thank you so much! Let's hope that the judges find it just as fun :D

Thank you so much Witty! It really means a lot hearing that from you! :)

Thank you! :D

Hi! Thanks for taking your time playing it. My main focus was to create a somewhat big, beautiful and realistic landscape. To make it just feel great to walk around and explore. Sadly that left little time left to focus on mechanics and story. With that said, I'm still really happy with the results!

Thank you so much for the lovely words!
I hope to be able to turn this little piece of coal into something more in the future! But for now it's only concepts.
Again, thanks! It makes me want to keep making games :)
