I have to be honest here...
I dislike this game.
It looks amazing. I love the art and everything, but the gameplay is terrible.
Initial area was way too hard because I didn't know I could dash (It does say controls in the description, but you could visually explain your controls better), and I didn't know how to interact (again, do something like a popup that says E or F). Also, the jump was hard and annoying to control, because as soon as you let go of space it instantly plummets you downwards.
First level was really hard until I found out how to dash. When I did learn dashing (by looking at the controls in the description for the first time lol), it was still hard.
By level 2 I was already 8-10 minutes into a supposedly short game. Pushing the block into the button was horrible, because if you pushed it too hard or too soft, it would completely miss the button and soft lock the level, making me do it all over again. (Also, this is when I realized how hard gates are to see in the game).
Level 3 was harder and there were invisible blocks for some reason, but I was getting the hang of it when one of the checkpoints soft locked the entire game with one of the invisible blocks.
I have to say, 1 star for fun-ness, 2 stars for originality, 3 stars for theme, and 4 stars for visuals. Average of 2.5 stars. Not the best, but I still see a lot of potential in this game. I could see a game like this improve dramatically and become a very impressive and amazing indie game. Just visually explain controls (lots of people like me out there not reading descriptions), fix more bugs, balance more stuff, add a restart button for convenience, and keep on improving.
