Neat idea, love the art and music! I feel like the combat could benefit from being able to move while attacking, as well as giving the enemies a better indicator that they're about to attack so you can dodge out of the way.

Cool concept, and the art is really cute, but the controls could use some work. It felt like the game was constantly eating my inputs which was a bit annoying when trying to execute a sequence of actions. I still ended up playing quite a few runs to try to beat my score though, so I'd love to check it out again after the jam if you end up releasing a fix!

Short but sweet. Big fan of the cute wizard!

Super clever puzzle mechanics! I didn't get further than level 10 though

Very creative mechanic! The art and music is really charming too

Hey, thanks for trying out my game! Right now the goal is really only to clear the enemies to gain gold and level up, so you can level up your abilities and buy better items from the shopkeeper.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write this out, I appreciate the feedback a lot. About the jump height, it is possible to jump higher by holding in the jump button, but it is very possible that it's still not high enough. Either way, it is on me for either not making the controls tight enough and/or not communicating to the player that there is a mechanic for getting longer airtime.

I definitely should have let some other people playtest it before the deadline, since many complaints about the game turned out to be physics-related(Hard jumps, not enough friction between the player and ground/platforms, etc.).

I will have to post the game to a different page I believe, since updating it directly is against the rules of the Gamejam it was part of. I had some ideas for how I could improve the gameplay, but I figured it was a waste of time, and I'd be better off dropping it, but reading your comment really inspired me to finetune it, so thank you for that.

I'll be replying to you some time in the coming days once I have an updated version of the game, if you're still interested in playing it :)

I already gave my thoughts on this game during the stream, but I figured I'll add a comment as well. This game is extremely well made, from the gameplay, to the art/graphics and audio. So far this has been my favorite submission.
