i accidentally double clicked two letters that were on top of each other in a column and the second letter overwrote the first letter entirely when it was placed, meaning i am now missing a letter and cannot finish the level
the first letter isn't invisible, the game considers its spot to still be blank. resetting the letter only put the still remaining letters back in the top columns and didn't restore the missing letter, i had to refresh the page and navigate back to the puzzle to solve it


i completely didnt realize that the mini level in the "how to play" was interactable at all 😭
having a line in the how to play would likely help a bit!

this game looks really cool so far, but i had an issue in the december 16th puzzle where the word "where" was split across two lines with no indication that it was one word, making it look like two separate invalid words, "whe" and "re". this really messed me up and i was stuck on the puzzle for WAY longer than is probably intended. implementing some visual cue that a word is broken across two lines would probably be a good idea?

did you get permission to use modified pony town sprites for this?

the way the rhythm minigame works, you can just spam click the entire time and it'll hit every beat with no penalty. idk if adding an actual penalty to missing the beat would be a good idea, but adjusting the rhythm thing so you cant just spam it might be a good idea?

ah, i do use firefox, thats probably the issue

web version of the game just shows a black screen for me :(

im also getting this bug now that im in the super late-game

seems to have worked for me at least!

cant seem to refocus the game after i click off the game screen, which is unfortunate since i like to play little games like this while watching youtube

this is absolutely adorable! i adore the art style and the logic puzzle aspect is super fun (i pulled out mspaint to write down patterns to figure out a few of them)
the secret recipes were fun to figure out, i got about half of them

a few grammar and spelling notes:

  • "sause" should be "sauce" (multiple instances)
  • "buger" should be "burger" (multiple instances)
  • "at less" should be "at least" (potentially confusing for players, "less (than) 3" would be 1 or 2, where "at least 3" would be 3 and above) (multiple instances)
  • "chess", while a word, should be "cheese" instead (chess is the board game, cheese is the food) (multiple instances)
  • "somthing" should be "something" (description for the "loaf of bread" and "tear tower" recipe)

the ending is genius, because its likely its not until you try stacking absolutely everything to make the universe burger that the screen starts moving upwards, revealing the extent of the area above the burger joint

game seems to be broken for me, it plays the door-shutting animation and displays a loading circle in the corner for a second, then the loading circle disappears and nothing happens
shortly after i get a popup from firefox saying this tab is slowing down firefox

there appears to be a bug with the rotation algorithm when the block can't actually rotate? the block gets pushed 1-2 tiles to the left without rotating and overwrites any pre-existing tiles

super fun! i love little tile-based puzzles like this

some hopefully helpful notes for if/when this game is updated:
-"lavander" should be spelled "lavEnder"
-either a way to skip the point counting or exponentially-faster point counting (like what balatro does) would be super nice
-idk if this would change how the game plays too much but the possibility of choosing where the next grid square spawns would be cool (maybe like, out of three random possibilities? to keep it from being too op)
-the ui is pretty big and blocks a decent amount of the visible space, the ability to make it smaller or move it around would be fantastic

i ADORE this game and have been playing it on-and-off for like a week

is the point requirement supposed to jump from 900 to 25,555?

how did you manage to do that? were you only selecting double tiles between levels or is there a delete tile mechanism i havent seen

i took a challenge to not use vowels. fine right?
the next board space was a knick-knack exchange, and i put in my easel. i get a funnel back. funnel makes every tile count as a vowel.

i got cursed for breaking my promise and immediately lost the game dsaflkhgfds

this is hilarious. rip fish...

the escalation of this was amazing. the way i put my hand over my mouth after i took the president's id and realized what the map was-
