I agree with this sentiment; itch.io should provide a timeline for relaxing the rules surrounding NSFW content. As they stand right now, virtually all NSFW creators are struggling to have their content remain unquarantined after any updates, and the lack of support staff means uneven enforcement of the current rules in more severe cases. My own game has been fully restricted since last July, despite far more extreme content from other creators remaining indexed, and itch.io staff has refused to address my concerns across any support channels

Hello leafo, I'm SilverProductions, and adult game developer who first published my game a year ago. Last July, my game got fully restricted when all the troubles were happening with payment processors. I attempted to contact support and see if I could get some help, but I know that things were more uncertain at that time, and lots of other developers also needed help. My game also uses horror themes in its marketing despite them not being very prominent / explicit in-game, which I think contributed to my attempts to get unrestricted getting rejected at the time.
A lot of time has passed though, and I've seen a lot of other games which I consider to be more egregious than mine remain unrestricted and get re-indexed. Since my game is having its one year anniversary, and I'm hoping to release an update soon, I wanted to reach out directly and see if there was any way I could get re-approved. And if not right now, then I'd at least like to know what I can do to remove the restriction from my game. My new update also changes a lot of older content, namely all of the images in the game. If you're interested in learning about the specific changes in a little more detail, I created a devlog where I talk about them in a little more detail: https://silverproductions.itch.io/loveunscripted/devlog/1387370/one-year-of-lus
I'm of course more than willing to answer any questions you might directly have for me as well. I hope to hear back from you soon, thank you.
I have a Patreon for my itch.io game, and one of the benefits is "1 Week Early Access to Content Updates". I plan on uploading my early release to itch.io for anyone to download, but the new content requires Patreon authentication before a user can access it. Then a week later, I'll upload a version of my game that doesn't require authentication.
Considering this, I want to know more about the rules / etiquette for posting "Major Update or Launch" devlogs to my itch.io page. Is it okay to make a devlog for both the "1 Week Early Access" and "Free Access" uploads? Or should I only make a devlog for one of them? And if only one, then for which should I make the devlog? Thank you.
