[Rev-Share / Paid] Looking for a Sound Designer & Composer for a Psychological Horror Game "The Blood Hallways" (Unreal Engine)


Hello everyone!


Our international team of 6 (3 Blueprint Programmers and 3 3D Artists) is currently developing a PC psychological survival horror game titled "The Blood Hallways" inside Unreal Engine. We started active development on May 20, 2026, and we are aiming for a commercial release on Steam, Epic Games Store, and consoles (PlayStation/Xbox) in the future.


About the Game:

You play as an ordinary, overworked office employee who falls asleep at their desk and plunges into a shifting nightmare. The vibe scales from a completely calm, mundane office to absolute madness, shifting into crimson-tinted corridors, cultist symbols, creepy entities, and puzzles. Think P.T. meets The Backrooms in an office setting.


What we are looking for:

We need a talented Sound Designer / Composer who can bring this nightmare to life. Since horror relies heavily on audio, your work will be a core pillar of the game.

* Ambient & Music: Tense, minimalist, and psychological tracks that escalate as the player descends into madness.

* Sound FX: Flashlight clicks, heavy breathing/stamina panting, footsteps on different surfaces (carpet, concrete, puddles), eerie door creaks, mechanical lock/padlock clicks, and terrifying monster vocalizations/movement sounds.

* Unreal Engine Integration: (Plus, but not mandatory) Experience with UE Sound Cues / Audio Volumes.


Compensation:

We are currently working on a Revenue Share (Rev-Share) basis for the full release, but we are also open to discussing a fixed budget per asset/milestone if you have a portfolio that blows us away.

Who we are: Silent Perimeter, a passionate indie team currently developing a psychological survival horror game. Project: K.U.L.T. 619 Engine: Unreal Engine 5.7 Current Team: Project Lead / Art Director (3D Visualization & Animation background), and 2 Gameplay/AI Programmers.

The Role: We are looking for a creative 3D Modeler to help us bring our nightmare to life. Your tasks will include:

  • Creating environment props (transitioning from standard office items to hellish, crimson-tinted maze elements).
  • Modeling entities (creepy mannequins and a tall, lanky, terrifying main monster).
  • Texturing and preparing assets for seamless UE5 integration.

Hi everyone!

I am a Game Designer/Director looking for a UE5 Blueprint Programmer and a 3D Environment Artist to team up for a potential commercial release on Steam (Enthusiasm / RevShare).

The Project: "K.U.L.T. 619" - a short, high-intensity psychological/liminal space horror game set in a terrifying office environment.

Core Mechanics:

  • Spatial loops (P.T. style)
  • "Weeping Angel" mechanics (mannequins that move when you are not looking)
  • Stamina-based running and high-tension escape sequences from monsters
  • UE5 Chaos Physics for environmental destruction (e.g., floor collapsing under the player)

My Role: Game Design, Level Design direction, Narrative, gathering assets, and overall Project Management.

Programmer Role (UE5 / Blueprints): Blueprint logic (character controller, room spawning logic, trigger events, AI for the mannequins/monsters, and stamina mechanics).

3D Artist Role: Environment modeling (office modules, doors, corridors), prop creation, and PBR texturing.

I have a clear vision, a structured plan, and a focus on high-quality visual presentation. We won't be wandering in the dark trying to figure out what to do. Since there is no initial budget, this is a great opportunity to build a highly polished, terrifying horror experience and add a strong piece to your portfolio.
