Thanks, pretty much all my time went into learning how to make said train which meant that sadly the only real way to escape the loop is to literally hit Escape.

Maze was supposed to be procedurally generated and there would be other platforms/islands to visit with more puzzles but they had to be left on the cutting room floor.

Thank you for noticing; Along with the 1998 film Fallen  starring Denzel Washington, Hidden in plain sight was also one of the inspirations for this game.

There are some basic Audio sliders in the settings that might help.

Ya to compensate I have made the Hunter slightly faster than the demon but it's still recommended to use two pads.

Thank you very much, honestly I just looked at Undertale and a few other Visual Novel controls and copied as much as I could, I even replicated the "Quitting..." line that shows up in the top left corner if you hold the Esc key to quit.

Thank you, to be honest after reading the same lines over and over again during testing I actually couldn't tell if anything I was writing was even remotely funny or coherent anymore.

Thank you, really appreciate that coming from a fellow Visual-Novelist-er (is that a word?) , much tougher genre than I expected as I barely got half of what I wanted on the screen.

thanks again, p.s. stilling waiting for that cactus to make it to space ;)

Thank you, there was quite a bit more of the story to tell but I had to leave it all on the cutting room floor just to make the deadline.

The first working title included a Dr Spikeylove but I didn't really like the sound of it, wish I'd thought of Dr Strangecacti.

Thank you, I have played it but I got the idea of the ship in the Arctic by simply asking  a friend to think of the most random place he expected to find a cactus.

I'd say the two biggest inspirations was the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Undertale.

Thanks again.

Wonderfully diabolical stuff; finally grabbing the big star under the rocket will probably end up being my proudest gaming moment of the year.
