I haven't gotten to assembling it yet, but I adore the concept.

It took me forever to start to read this, but it is absolutely great in terms of writing. The descriptions are so good, and I could clearly picture each and every vignette. It is very inspiring.

I had created a visual novel demo quite a few years ago. I felt like it needed a linear companion before I headed out to make the full visual novel.

I am finally ready to release it into the world, just like the protagonist released his fireflies.

Merlot Glasswing survives a traumatic incident and awakens on a riverbank. While he learns to cope with his losses, a strange phenomenon occurs; he can create insects from his imagination. These creatures arise against his own will. 

People who eerily look just like Merlot appear, and he must find answers to all the questions he has. However, the answers he finds differ greatly from those of others.

I still can't believe it took me 5 years to write the linear version. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'd suggest you to change "If you don’t want to make a chapbook, download AutumnHearth-chapbook.pdf" to linear because I think that's what you meant.

I've gotten into a group and written a script for a visual novel. We also got voice actors and coders. However, we need a character sprite artist. 

Short summary without spoilers: Merlot is a deity but most people don't know that, since he is undercover. His story begins with him forgetting something, but once he remembers, he is no longer at peace. 

I can provide references for every character. They are all human or humanoid.
