I liked the visual design of the player characters, and hitting multiple enemies at the same time with the staff weapon felt very satisfying.

I know that this is a WIP but the camera placement in the middle section where it got obstructed by walls made it hard for me to fully appreciate the experience.

PS: So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Yeah, get what you're saying :)

Awesome :)

Do you have an idea for a new mechanic?

Glad you liked it, loved the review!

Added a link to it in the top of the page :)

P.s - Do you think the Switch has an advantage over mobile devices (Android/IPhone)?

Playing with the rooms itself is a really neat idea! Hmm.. maybe even changing the room layout itself mid level?

We'll definitely think about it.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment :)

Loved the game!!! Felt amazing to play. The game feel effects are very well executed.

One thing - I did not realized that I can look down (did not unlock it explicitly or I missed it?). Therefore, in the part in the beginning when you need to look down to see the elevator It was hard to figure out what to do at first.

Did not realize how much challenge you can have by only walking to the left! :)

(PS: the elevator was super long and I encountered a bug there that from the left of the screen I got slingshot-ed behind the right wall :P)

Glad you enjoyed playing our game.

Teaching the player in the manner you described was indeed our intention.

Do you have any suggestion on how to take the game to the next level?

Thank you :)

We were inspired by games like Alien Isolation and Amnesia where the game uses the feeling of being chased by something that you can't defeat to convey the horror.

We thought about a mechanic like hiding in a room and closing the door or something similar until a "wave" of darkness passes, but we are not sure about how to implement it exactly.

We will love to hear more suggestions from you in the future and as this game gets updated.

Great art & music! Also liked the boss battles very much, I think this is were the combat really shines - Cool attacks and nice telegraphed animations. Especially liked the Trail boss :)

Very nice game, finished it once on medium (took me several attempts)

It was tricky to learn that you need to wait for the terraforming (because I could skip the level without terraforming, I did not notice it at all).

Maybe just ask the player to actively choose "Don't Terraform" so he cannot move to the next level.
