More A.I responses huh?

When I speak of real artists I speak of humans. Humans with creativity and passion. Art is a deeply human form of expression. and to be able to express art in any capacity is what I consider talent. A.I. Slop is not art. You are correct in saying that art has always expanded to include new voices new tools and methods, the thing is, up until not long ago, those methods were are still deeply human in workflow and production. Things crafted by humans. Even the continued evolution and iterations of methodology itself was still deeply human.

In other words, Yes. I do speak confidently, And I do judge and evaluate who has a voice on here
Humans do
Not algorithms

Ai "Art" is theft in more ways than one. It steals attention, jobs, resources and financing from real human artists. Not only that, AI doesn't create in the way a human would. Instead, it compiles premade human works without permission or credit, and the algorithm creates an image using that as a base. Currently, there is no real way for artists to opt out of this data collection

Furthermore, the comparison to Clair Obscur is very flawed. At the end of the day, as your AI chatbot already said, Clair Obscur used only a few AI placeholder textures. At the end of the day, they were removed entirely. As for the remainder of the game? Made entirely by real human artists, from Music, to Models, to Textures, to Code, to Writing. Clair Obscur is a work of Art. Because at the end of the day the entirety of the game as was released was humanmade. AI only served as a TOOL not a replacement.

You on the other hand, are not just using AI as a Tool, you are using it to replace the work of a real artist.  And again, we are back to my previous point. This site is full of real, talented artists. Do you really think that a demographic like that will find any interest or enthusiasm in what you're doing, when most of us won't even condone it?

Nice AI response lol

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with your vision. There are genuinely many real artists I know who would love to collaborate on something of that caliber. The problem arises when you take Art, a deeply human medium of expression and creativity, and strip away everything that makes it meaningful.

Every human has value in themselves. And every human has the ability to create art. But there is a big difference between Tools which aid the creative process and the core principles of art and the human spirit, and "Tools" which steal, automate, and replace actual art from genuine Talent.

I am not alone. Go on any art or creative site, and you'll see almost all artists agree with me.  You argue humans have worth inherently, and yet your actions promote theft and erasure from human made works.

There is far more value and merit to a mediocre, inexperienced, humanmade work than there is to any high quality slop created by AI

Hey,  this project looks really cool! It looks like charlie.valentine isn't a valid discord username?

At least you were honest about it I suppose.

I will say one thing. Don't waste your time. You are probably not going to find anything surprising by bringing the Hyena into the Lion's Den. Most real artists hate AI "art" and the use of AI "art" for a very good reason. This is a page full of real artists; You'd be hard pressed to find any actually talented people here who have any interest in generating AI Slop with you

Thank you, I really appreciate it. The  nature of the project is very appealing, and I'm 100% open to RevShare! I'd love to chat about this further if possible? Feel free to send me a message on Discord: seventh_coda or Email: okami.kaihaku@gmail.com

Hey! Project SOV sounds really cool I’m a big fan of a lot of the inspirations you listed, especially Chrono Trigger, the Mother series, Toby Foxs games, and Nadia. Stuff with that mix of emotional storytelling and quirky charm really resonates with me.

I have prior experience, doing art, coding, balancing, design and directing for Project PS. I’m a decent pixel artist and would potentially be interested in helping out with tilesets, environment sprites, or general pixel work if you’re still looking for artists.

I’m also a composer, and my style leans pretty heavily toward an Uematsu/Mitsuda-type approach melodic, emotional pieces and atmospheric music with strong use of motifs, a mix of orchestral and synth textures, and music that tries to support the story and atmosphere of the world.

I haven’t worked on this specific project obviously, but I’d be happy to contribute music ideas or help with the soundtrack as well if that’s something you’d want extra help with.

Here’s my public composer/arranger page: On Flat.io

Let me know if you think I might be a good fit  I’d love to hear more about the project!

I don't think I've ever wished I could downvote a post before

Hey! INKSPACE sounds really interesting I’m a big fan of psychological stories and atmospheric stuff like that. I am a composer and writer who loves emotional and psychological themes in music and storytelling. I’d definitely be interested in trying something like this and seeing if my style could fit the project. My experience in this style is limited, but I am definitely a quick learner, and overall quite experienced in music theory in general..

I’m open to revshare or contractual work depending on what you’re looking for. I can also send ideas or demos if that helps.

Let me know if you think it might be a good fit!

Hey! your project sounds really cozy I love the snowy life-sim vibe you described.

My name is Aeryn. I have experience, as director, spriter, balancer and designer of Project PS I’ve worked on character sprites, tilesets, UI elements, and animations before, so this kind of project is right up my alley. I’d definitely be interested in helping bring the world to life.

Payment is flexible for me depending on scope I’m open to contract work or revshare depending on what you had in mind.

If you’re still looking for an artist, I’d love to hear a bit more about the project like the tile size, estimated asset scope, and timeline.

Thanks!

Hello Fen,

Your post immediately caught my eye, because at the current moment I am in such a similar position myself. I am a huge advocate of games as not only a storytelling medium but as a form of art, and for years its been my dream to work on something that has the passion, soul and humanity of the games that inspired and resonated with me the most.

I dont have much professional experience, though I did formerly direct a relatively small passion project. More than anything I am trying to get my foot in the door and perhaps in the near future bring the spirit and ideas i only dreamed of to life. Perhaps thats why this project resonates with me

As for what role I'd be looking to fill, Music Composition and Sound Design, Writing, System Designer, PR, Event Director, and for that matter, any Directorial Role are what I would feel most confident in, though I do have experience in programming and pixel art if neccesary, though admittedly the majority of my work in those roles tends to be mostly directorial.

Regardless if you believe I could be of service to this team, please dont hesitste to reach out to me on discord: seventh_coda. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your time

Hey! I dont have a lot of experience professionally and I dont have a portfolio to my name but I would still lile to try anyways. I was the director of this Project for a while, where aside from direction work, my main direct contributions were balancing, programming, and spriting.

While I understand I may not have the most experience I truly am passionate about creative work and I am a huge advocate of Games as literature and art.

Please feel free to reach out to my discord: seventh_coda
