I forgot to mention that I was moving the camera with the middle mouse button so there's probably nothing wrong with the camera.

Damn. How did this not get a lot of attention. This is not just a jam game, this is A game. It is very polished and despite having a potato laptop, I've only encountered one or two lag spikes (just when loading the game). If this was a full game, I would play the heck out of it.

There were a few problems here and there but nothing I didn't manage:

  1. First is the tutorial. A bunch of text giving me a vague idea of how the game works without showing me any correlation to the gameplay UI, which left me confused at my first playthrough but managed to figure it out after messing around and conquered at my second.
  2. When the new round comes in, you get a chance to increase your chefs at any owned territory you want which is great, but there were a couple of times when, in that moment, I will look up the recipe menu to analyze which biscuit I want to make (the ones with higher points) so that I can think of ways to strategically place my new chefs in order to acquire those materials and counter incoming opponents incase of an attack, but when I go back to try and place my new chefs, it doesn't work.
Basically, during placement mode (adding new chefs), when I click on any other UIs, it stops working. So there's a bug--is what I'm trying to say. I don't know why I could've just said that.
  3. Lastly, I don't know if it's just my potato laptop but the camera doesn't move. It can only pivot. So I'm stuck in one place. And it's difficult for me to see from afar especially when I'm winning.

TL;DR: Do a better tutorial, fix the bug, I can't go around and move the camera to witness my glory.

I forgot to mention, I barely used the bloody biscuits since I can just win by strategy and don't feel the need to do any sacrifice or whatever. Aka the game is too easy.

Overall, very fun game. The first time I 5 starred all categories for a game. I mean, I recently just started doing game jams a few weeks ago so I'm fairly new.

Sad that this isn't getting a lot of attention. Hope the tides will turn.

Amazing work.

Nice game. Controls are a bit janky but exploitable. Fits the platforming of this game well.

As I was playing the game while the narrator just keeps rambling about being an UBERMAUS or something I was like, "damn I just want to eat them biscuits" lol

Overall, fun gameplay. Thought there would be more levels. Amazing work. Especially the 2D art in the 3D world.

The premise of this game seems very interesting. I can imagine this to be a fully-fledged game with interesting story about a robot and his quest to extract materials and probably information about the world with a limited amount of time to return to its base and recharge.

A feedback I would give is that when our character gets hit, there is not visual or audio feedback to know if it got hurt or not so maybe add in some sound effects or visuals when getting hit.

Not sure if you're interested in developing this further but overall the gameplay was fun and wanted to learn more about the robot and the world its living in.

I was confused about the objectives so I just played it like normal. Avoid the thing going towards me and reach the people shooting. Visually it was confusing but overall gameplay was not that bad. Nice work.

Simple and fun. I didn't read the instructions at first so I thought you should avoid the racoon because they steal your food. But they add the points up so they actually helped lol. Overall, well made game. Not too complicated. Nice work.

I'm glad you liked it. I'll take note of your suggestions and will be reviewing your game as soon as possible. Thanks :D

I should've made the gameplay different but it's too late for that now. Thank you playing the game and giving your feedback.

Thank you for playing.

Thank you for the feedback. Might apply it after the voting.

Simple and fun. great execution.

I played your game and my gameplay was in slow motion due to my potato laptop not being able to handle even the lowest of graphics but the level design is insane. I had fun playing the game and solving the puzzles. This might be similar to portal but I can't tell because I've never played it before but have seen other play it.

I do think the AI talking to you through text is not my favorite. Probably a robotic voice over would be better. I guess you can do voice overs when it comes to exposition and storytelling but when it comes to tutorials like displaying UIs and what to press things then visuals would be better.

Overall, fun game. Great puzzles and level design.

I do plan on continuing this project. And yes, I wanted to add more depth into the game. Upgrades were the idea but didn't have time to make it so this is what I ended up with. Thank you for playing nonetheless.

I didn't think I'd make it to level 11 and win but once I understood how it works then it's all about avoiding what the customer dislikes. Gameplay aside, great 3D art.

I solved the puzzle, by that I mean I found a key and opened the gate. Then I was able to reach the princess which (spoiler alert) never existed. and was kind of expecting more. I tried unlocking the chest but I don't know what the password is so I thought it would be something like 0905 or 2105 because I thought the clock was a clue.

Anyways, good job on fixing the issue.

Thank you. I made the mistake of making the location too large. Not sure if the game fits the theme but the music is well-crafted.

You can check out the composer if you want.

Thank you for playing once again.

Yeah, I could've made it so that the encounter with the monster was more frequent and exploring more riskier and exciting as you mentioned. I would love to change that but it's not particularly a bug to fix which is allowed to do according to the rules.

You can encounter the biscuit monster if you stay in a single place for a while and it will eventually appear and chase you.

The music was made by Bryanwolf if you want to check out his stuff.

Thank you for playing providing a feedback. Cheers

This game is addiction at its finest. I'm left wanting to play more and do better in the next round. The UI is simplistic but the 3D art looks amazing. The physics of the biscuits flying out of the box are very satisfying to watch.

My only suggestion is to have the option to skip the next round transition (Round 2, 4, 15, etc.) with a press of a button so that I can get to the next round quickly.

Incredible job!

Were you able to play it? I tried uploading it on web but never knew the plugin I was using wouldn't be supported. So I had to make it downloadable.

Thank you! I realized too late that I made the place too large and the encounter with the monster a bit rare. That's bad game design in my part. But I'm glad you reviewed it.

Very well-done. The gameplay was fun as I got to understand what I need to make. It would be nice if players will know what type of servings they will make from using a certain type of ingredient. Like knowing if this ingredient will make a sauce, or crisp, or a cream and whatnot.

Great game, overall.

I like the idea of a stealth platformer in video games. If this was a lot more polished in terms of physics and logic, this would've been great experience. The story seems compelling and was curious what it would be if it was more fleshed out.

Overall, it's a good game. Nice work.

Physics of the game was fun to incorporate. I could use the wall to launch myself much farther than jumping. Although I don't really know how the theme fits into this game as it is simply a you lose you do it again type of game.

But great work on making this for the jam.

Amazing 3D game. Tho challenging, I enjoyed most of it. Great work for making this.

No right answer, the game lol

The voice is actually pretty funny. But it would've been better if some of the answers made sense. At first, answering correctly would kill me so maybe the goal was the opposite of what the answer was but I still got them wrong.

Overall, the game is fun. Nice work.

If this is your first game, I can understand its flaws. Overall I didn't enjoy the game. Every time I restart, the camera keeps panning back to wherever the place was and I can't see the platforms below me. So jumping to move down feels like a gamble hoping there are no enemies where I land but often times that was the case and I kept dying.

The level designs are confusing because there are places that leads to nowhere and would get me stuck because I couldn't go back to where I came from.

Overall, if this is your first time, good job on making it and submitting it here. Otherwise, I hope this was intentionally a rage game.

I like how you incorporated the theme of risk and reward. The more enemies I fight the higher the rewards. Although the upgrades takes a very long time to see any significant results even if I chose to have a lot of enemies. But when you get there, it does starts to get fun.

Nice game. *thumbs up*

Great game. I have a messed up but overpowered formation having to upgrade most of them. Tho I only made it to round 19.

There seem to be a glitch where if I fast forward to its maximum the enemies tend to pass by my towers without a problem. So I had to stick to the normal speed as a strat.

Wonderful job tho.

Gameplay has potential. It's cute and fun. More visual and audio feedback would be nice.

I think we are. I saw a post saying you can fix issues within 48 hours after the jam. I plan on fixing my game as well.

This is my first clicker game. I got addicted to it and had never clicked aggressively before. Amazing game. Great artwork. And relaxing music.

The scream is hilarious XD. The gameplay is simple and charming. Quite a challenge if you're determined to get that biscuit on the far left.

Good work!

(I'll be referring to the faults of the game program as "bugs" and the bugs of the game that you have to defeat as "enemies".)

The graphics look really nice and the gameplay would be really fun if it wasn't for the bugs that kept occurring every time I restart. But I still had fun.

At first, everything seems to be working as intended. Defeating enemies by jumping over them. Fighting bees being a challenge but doable, and the UI updating as I kept dying and collecting cookies and cheese. But as I kept replaying the game, everything starts to get buggy. Jumping over enemies can still defeat them but sometimes hurt me and the UI doesn't update when I restart the game. (It seems that I should have three chances to run through the game but now I only have zero chances).

Despite all of that, great game. Cute and fun. Reminds me of old games.

Wonderful work.

All I see is the horizon. Hope this will get fixed soon.

Instructions to Install the Game for Mac Users:

If you're unable to open the game because "the developer cannot be verified" with options to either Move to Trash or Cancel, don't click on any of the options yet and head over to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Click the lock to make changes -> Enter your password -> You can now click on the Cancel option -> And in the Allow apps section, select "Open Anyways".

If this didn't work, you can open your terminal application and type in "sudo spctl --master-disable" -> enter your password -> and restart your Mac. Check the Security & Privacy once again and in the Allow apps section, you should see "Anywhere" is selected. Then you can now open game. Open Unidentified Developer Apps

If none of that still works, you can try running the windows version through wine.

I guess it depends if you wanna continue the game and make changes. But it does kind of remind me of Crossy Road.

I didn't expect it to be 3D from the 2D art at the beginning lol. Still a good game. Quiet challenging especially at the very top since it's hard find the cracks from there. All in all, good job.

Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback. Glad you had fun.

Great entry. Mini games were fun and challenging.
