Thanks! Im excited to have more than an hour on art for my next game/update from these comments, its definitely my strength since its my background but I cant have style over substance so its 5 years in the coding mines for me.
Stay tuned!
A little difficult to know what's immediately happening, but I managed to win by launching the missile whenever stuff started popping off. I think a little text story explaining the context or fleshing out who you are would've done it alot of favours since there's already a narrative of sorts with the war.
The top right and bottom left monitors you can't control and they feed you information way too quickly to use them to your advantage, but I liked the vibe of sitting behind this monitor while the blips on my screen signify war, i think its a cool concept that could be a really good narrative experience.
Really underrated game in terms of the jam, i can easily see how this could be expanded upon whilst still being entirely complete as it is, this guy knows ball.
Also I think it'd be neat if you could choose which dice to target rather than damaging the highest dice to allow the player to risk wasting their high roll to play lower dice to refresh stuff, or proc lower value special dice.
