We realized that by trying to support 3+ platforms, we had to sacrifice a lot of optimizations and/or features that the engine we use has (because they are platform specific), and for just the two of us, it's a very hard thing to maintain, especially because there is only one of us who does all the programming. There are a lot of broken (mostly visual) things because of this. Combined with the fact that the very early development had to be rushed because of deadlines, the code base isn't great to work with and we basically have to rework a lot of things that are already in the game. This has been taking way more time than anticipated, hence the lack of content updates. We still believe in this project and will continue to work on it because we know we have something special on our hands, but it will take some time for it to get to a stage that we envisioned when we started. Skipping, more minigames, and other features are planned for the future, we just have to focus on making the base more stable first. Thanks for playing!

The game needs access to  some folders on your phone to save and load save files and configuration/settings files, and for being able to save and load a save file from any location on your phone manually if necessary. As far as we know, there isn't a way to only ask for access to specific folders.

With how Apple is handling apps and games on iOS, we don't think that would be possible any time soon unless sideloading becomes a thing.

It wouldn't make sense lore-wise. But who knows, there might be a lot that changes as more of the story gets implemented. Or when/if we implement mod support, someone will probably add it.

nope. Stuff like this has been happening to players for a while and we are not sure why its happening. The next hotfix *should* probably fix this but the downside is that it will be slower to load for some devices.

This has been fixed in the latest hotfix (0.2.3). If you are still having issues with it, please open a bug report on our Discord server.

We recently got re-indexed onto Itch.io again (as seen in the increase of traffic onto our game in our analytics) and we already pushed for people to sign the petition. That's also the reason why we delayed our new update. We didn't want to publish a new update if there was no one to see it. But yes, for anyone who doesn't want censorship in what they can and can't buy, sign the petition!
