The few seconds of not being able to move after respawing also trips me up every time and has caused me tens of hundreds of deaths at this point

I absolutely love how inspired this is from Edmund Mcmillen's work! It feels like a mix of all my favorite difficult precision platformers. My only main gripe with this alpha is that the movement can feel a bit floaty and I feel like that leads to a lot of unfair deaths, especially when trying to pogo off of enemies. You either have to land on them from the side or right on top of them and I have a hard time knowing how high I will jump when trying to hold down the jump button for long enough to not die. I'd give this alpha a 7/10 and I can't wait to see how the finished game will look like!
Accessibility options are always a plus in my book!
In regards to this I would also reccomend adding colorblind options, a font choice that works well with people that have dyslexia as well as options to turn down some of the more extreme visual effects, so that everyone can have a similar experience. There might be something I have forgot to mention but I think that's all of them.





I don't get why this won't load for me on windows when I'm using google chrome. While the previous game took less than 5 seconds to finish loading
