Thank you for playing! I also thought about 360 degree rotation, but then the bullets will ricochet in all directions making dodging them almost impossible especially in the later levels. And yeah I also don't know how to fix that, this happens often when I play others' jam games and I just mark them as exceptions.
This is a very clever and fun game! I completed all the levels and all of them were unique in different ways which is sometimes hard to do in a puzzle game. However I noticed that despite w, a, s, d keys work properly arrow keys don't (but sometimes they do). And also if you press two movement keys simultaneously you can move diagonally thus painting one cell instead of two, and I wonder if that was intentional or is it a bug?
Thanks, that's actually a pretty good idea! And yeah I thought so too about the ricochet, but given the sheer number of enemies in later levels they would be destroying each other very quickly with their own bullets.
Really liked the 3d models and animations as well as music and sounds. Good job! However the color changing mechanic needs a little more balance. I simply placed 8 autocannons at the entrance and never changed their color, as a result enemies were being destroyed immediately after spawning.
Interesting concept and cool level design. However I found a few bugs: you can't immediately move through the colored bar obstacle when you're the right color, first you have to move back slightly; the circles can move through said obstacles as soon as you touch the obstacle; sometimes shooting colors didn't change your color, but I don't know why exactly
Very interesting and creative concept, but I think the player is a little hard to control, mostly because of the air resistance which in my opinion is too strong.
Thanks! Yes, especially in the 4th level with narrow corridors. But I had to emphasize the theme so your bullets ricochet 8 times while enemies' bullets ricochet 4 times.
Awesome game. In my opinion it's perfectly balanced, it's not too easy but it's not too difficult either. Good job. However I think there's too much glow around the objects, and also a restart button would be helpful.
