Of course!! I'm sorry for the delayed response, but yes, you can have characters use the inputted name. The variable for the input is called "name" and can be found at the top of the script.rpy. You can change the text in quotations to be the default name (when start is clicked, it automatically shows that name, which I made "Kitty"). To have the name be said in dialog, simply use the character tag and variable within the line.

Ex.: kitty "I can't believe your name is [name] too!"

Hello, sorry for the late reply! I actually ended up working on another project recently. Was feeling kinda guilty for leaving this project behind. Would you like an update? I sort of felt like it was a lost cause if no one liked it, but I can definitely get an update out soon if you're interested.

Extra detail about an area in the game for if you get stuck (warning: spoilers)

In the Ice Sector, the maze is incomplete in terms of playability. The staircases are still programmed from how I was testing them (I forgot to change it).

Guide: Walk to nearest staircase after entering dungeon and descend. Go back up the closest staircase. Go down staircase you came from. Go up (direction) the map to the downstairs staircase, and you're at the second basement floor. Head directly forward and begin the battle with the ice vampire.

Hello again! I'm currently struggling with setting up the Airi GUI in my test game. The part I'm having issues with is the main menu in the [screens.rpy]. I'm sorry if this would be a bother at all, but would you mind sharing the code you used to create the look of the main menu mockup? Will include a picture (if you forgot!), but I thank you for creating this beautiful GUI! If you don't want to share for whatever reason, that's okay as well! :)

"A Summer" is a little horror game I've been working on ("Summer" is its name on my itch profile). There is a romance route involved and has some little quests planned for it, but the player can, instead, choose otherwise and remain on a horror route exclusively. Horror is incorporated either way, so it's up to the player what they want to choose. In the beginning you choose your gender (giving you a specific name), but only male and female. There's a theme I'm going with for names, and when you play you'll understand.

Right now, it's still a wip (work in progress), but it's having new changes and content added often. I hit the biggest bug (it was huge! :O) recently, but I checked my forum and started a topic there, having other users tell me about what I should do. I fixed it, and it's now playable in your browser! Mobile and PC compatible. Some new content has been added, and more dialog is in the most recent build. 3.0!! I just made it public, so it's free to play and can run for anyone.

A new update should come eventually, and will come with choices and content (I've said "content" so many times now it's driving me crazy). Please comment any bugs and discuss anything you want about it! Have fun and enjoy!! Current project icon [NOT MINE]:

SIDE NOTE: There is a new log (dev update, methinks) explaining this, but to save time I'll say this really quick. At the end of the build, you will see a message saying, "End of build 3.0".  If you don't see that message and it ends abruptly, please let me know so I can fix it! Also, if you get an error message, please tell me! I'm trying to make this bug-free, and I'm an exterminator for computers! not entirely sure if you're at the part I think you're at, but when you first need to open Fio's phone, the code is: 2310. it's the first date, and when you look at the calender it says the anniversary, and it's one month so you just subract one from four yk yk. i downloaded the walkthrough (it's free, btw), and it helped a lot. Sorry if the reply's late and you figured it out!
