Nice little project, maybe with a too big scope, but was really enjoyable.
Love the transition between customization and battle.
Nice work :)

Really cool game, love the concept of it.
first time I got lost (really far from anything, doesn't seem to have a map limit?)
Was really fun, all the different items where fun to pick up.
Like jasper pointed out, the sea is a bit weird when you go too fast.
The general artstyle was really nice tough, and the sound effects are awesome.

Really fun game, had a bunch of fun just rolling random stat, really loved that mechanic.
Like the other said, bullet passing trough enemy can be a bit annoying.
Really enjoyable and nice little sound effect :) Would have like if it was a bit more challenging
(enemy shooting back but you probably ran out of time)
That was really fun, just trying different type of tanks :)

The art style is really cool,
each time I hit a ghost it seem to do nothing more then just spawn more?
Had a bunch of fun, spawning a lot of ghost and gum tough. :)

Didn't had anyone to play with, but was still a lot of fun.
loved the music and art style.
Didn't understand what the dropping sandwich move does,
(probably slow the enemy)
Still really fun game :D

Really fun and diverse game. good job on that.
Like how each boss have it's own sprite too.
Took me some time to realize how to "drag" the cow xD

(I believe the robot was the last boss, but I couldn't beat it, nothing to scan codes)
Really good entry tough :)

Love the artstyle (color chosen ^^)
pretty fun game,
I love the noise when the bomb is close to explode,
stressing the player.
I would maybe reduce the speed at which the difficulty increase a little.
But it's a really fun game.
(I'm not good at those kind of games but I latsted 65 seconds :)

Nice submission, I like that the controls are really simple,
The art style is really nice too,
Seems to have a bug that if you go head on in a platfrom you can end up over it.
But Still really enjoyable.

(my Score : 2300 :)

I had a lot of difficulties at first with the controls ( seem like my keyboard is not the same language as yours cause z was for bubbles and x was for the flares) But once I overcame this, the game was pretty enjoyable, pretty impressive for a pico 8 game. Really loved it, hope you can continue developing it :)

Really fun game, controls are a bit complicated(aiming properly) especially since enemies are mainly "swimming"

But It's really impressive for a jam game, lot of content, really fun and enjoyable. The music was really good.

Really fun game, the art is amazing, the music fits really well and the game is easy but fun.

One thing I would change is putting a fish limit for each angler(after 5 fish your angler break)

to prevent people from just fishing little fish, and have them aim to go deeper. Really enjoyed it.

How could I not join a Jam by Tartle Wizard?

I'm not from the USA, but the theme seems interesting,
I've been making games for a bit more then a year now.

I use Unity and am mainly a programmer and designer :)

12HJam 2 community · Created a new topic Suggest a theme!

Last jam I struggled a bit to find ideas for the theme of the jam.

and some people weren't really satisfied with the themes I ended up with.

This time around if you have any theme suggestions you can just post them here! :)

This is the second edition of the 12 hour jam.

This Jam Goals:

1. Be a short Jam for people who can't use all their week-end for a jam.

2. Act as a challenge to see what you can accomplish in 12 hours.

Rules :

1.Create your game in 12 hours.

2.If you submit a game, please take time to try and comment other people entries.

Theme:

On the day of the jam, a theme will be announced (inspiration purpose only),

you are totally free to make a game that have no link to the theme.

Voting:

If nothing changes, entry voting will be possible, each entry will be rated on the followings

(criteria may be added or removed)

1.General

2.Art

3.Sound

4.Bug-Free

Time Zone :

Whatever time zone you live in,
you should start at 10:00 and stop at 22:00 on the 3rd december.
If I did this correctly, every timezone should be able to submit their work.
The hours you pick to make your game doesn't matter, just time yourself 12 hours.

Place for modifications :

As we approach the jam day, I will add more information as needed.

Of course you can stream.

All developing process is your own, if you want to show it you have the right too :)

The Jam Original time is 10:00 to 10:00 EST

So in UTC Time is would be 15:00 to 03:00 UTC

Now, That seem a bit late, In all honesty,

this is more like a personal challenge (no rewards involved etc..)

So you can really start whenever you want, Just time yourself 12 hours.

You can even work on it more then 12 hours if you want to.

Take note the submission will end at 03:00 UTC

As for the not obligatory theme, I'll try to post it as soon as I can

on the 19th (around 10:00 UTC perhaps)

Hope this answers everything TimeZone Related :)

(I'll add this to the original post)

Thank you for participating Inked!

Well this is my first time hosting a gamejam,
at first it was just supposed to be a personal challenge but I decided to turn it into a game jam
So I really don't know what will be intervals between the jams,
at first I thought of it as a 1 time thing, but if some people participate and have
fun I may make more, maybe twice a month or even weekly, I'll see eventually.

As for the icon, if you have some free time, feel free to make one!
(keep in mind that I have nothing to offer in return except giving you the credits for it)

Hope this answer all your questions :)
