Thanks so much for the feedback!

I agree I definitely overlooked that about the melee weapon, and it wasn't as clear in the tutorial as I thought it was.

I definitely want to give the game some more polish and make it a lot better than it currently is :)

Yeah that seems to be the issue people had online, unfortunately I can't fix it until the voting period is over.

I guess the storyline of your game has to be that "the game has crashed". Take that how you will.

Noted, thanks so much for the feedback!

I was going for a kinda rough Flash cartoon/game vibe with the graphics, and I do kind of like the color choice because of the tone I was trying to create, but I can also see how it's kind of ugly.

I wish I had more time to expand upon the game mechanics but I ran out of time before I could which is a shame. I want to try and improve on the game after the jam is finished.

Awesome game! I really liked the graphics and ambient sound effects, and merging together and splitting apart to solve certain puzzles was a really cool take on the theme of the jam!

My main issue was that the controls for switching between characters with the scroll wheel was really janky and it barely worked properly, using a keybind or the mouse probably would have been easier. While you nailed the "together" part of the theme I'm not seeing how the game plays into the "stronger" aspect, since there aren't really any situations in the game where the characters become stronger when they're merged.

Nonetheless it was a cute and interesting puzzle game and I really enjoyed playing it :)

This game is really cool! It's just a simple turn based RPG with some really funny references and jokes based on the Reddit Wall Street thing, I'm all for it! I didn't finish it in one sitting but I'll definitely come back to it :)

I feel like your use of the theme is kinda borderline and isn't integrated into the game very well, but the game is still heaps of fun!

Hey Nick, I'll start playing yours now :)

Just a heads up, the WebGL build for my game doesn't work properly, so you'll have to download the Windows version to try it out. Looking forward to hearing what you think!

This game looks and sounds awesome, and excellent use of the theme! I especially love the firing noise :)

My only issue is that when I was shooting the controls didn't feel very responsive since it sometimes didn't seem like I was firing anything.

Nice game, although it doesn't really fit the theme very well.

This game was really difficult, I couldn't get past the second level. I think the enemies are a little bit too difficult, at least for that early into the game.

I'm sorry but I don't think you can edit your builds since the deadline has passed.
Your best bet might be to post a link to a download in the project description.

HEADS UP: There was an unforeseen issue with the WebGL build and it does not load correctly, unfortunately I can't fix it since the deadline for submission has passed. You will need to download the Windows version if you want to play it.

Yeah it looks like it's a weird issue with the WebGL build which I didn't catch until afterwards, sorry!

There's a downloadable Windows version if you want to try that instead.

I'm sorry but it looks like you haven't posted a build/web player for your game so I can't play it :(

Hey there! I'm playing yours right now :)
Here is mine: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/929604

Oh I didn't realize, good to know!

This was really nice! Really fun, great puzzle solving and really good use of the theme!

My only issue is I sometimes got confused when I was switching characters because the indicators aren't always enough to tell which character you're moving. So like Newbie Indie Game Dev said, probably using the mouse instead of the keyboard would make it easier to distinguish.

Awesome game nonetheless!

I broke it

This is super cute! And pretty fun to fly around and set everything alight :P

My main issue is that the movement is a bit janky sometimes, and the WebGL version lags A TON. I couldn't get a smooth framerate until I downloaded the standalone version. I think you might wanna look into adding some occlusion culling, LODs or something similar to optimize the game.

But other than than well done! I like it.

Nope definitely not! I just wasn't expecting that to be your solution. Very creative!

I feel like it's kind of hard to make that distinction without actually having access to the source code/game assets.

Thanks for letting me know, I didn’t catch that bug.

Thanks! I was hoping to get some more polishing done but the deadline came up a lot quicker than I expected! With more time I’d love to implement some of those ideas.

Heads up, you've uploaded your icon instead of your spritesheet if you wanna quickly correct it.

Um, did you put all of your graphics in that spritesheet? It looks like there's a couple of sprites (like the school) which aren't in the spritesheet you attached.

This is amazing! Really cute graphics, and nice and challenging. Great game!

10/10 submission time
