Thank you so much for the advice! Using Pico-8 was really fun and that is great to know I can print a background like that, thanks again for the tips and the kind words!

Had a great time playing this! Some of the fish that followed you directly were somewhat tedious to fight, mostly because their hitbox would be small enough that even causing them to follow you straight and then turning and shooting right at them would miss. Otherwise, I thought it was very fun and well-balanced. The first boss fight caught me off guard in a good way and it was a fun challenge. (Also, the amount of settings you have available for a game jam is astounding lol)
Really great central concept, I think I didn't quite have the skill required for landing the shots on the yellow enemies and getting out of the way in time, but I definitely felt the pressure of each level, knowing that there was only a limited amount of time before I ran out of ammo so just had to attack the room head-on instead of kiting enemies around like I do in other games of this style. Also thought the visuals and VFX of the enemies breaking apart were fantastic, overall great job!
This was incredible! I am honestly blown away by how well-balanced the upgrade paths were, I found myself really weighing the options and trying to lean into certain "builds", which is amazing, especially for a game made in this short of a time period! Having the single pool of resources for health, moves, and attacks was also very creative and made me think carefully about my plan for the turn. Overall amazing job, had a really fun time playing!
Thank you so much for playing! Honestly, you confirmed the two main concerns I had when submitting the game, but just couldn’t resolve because of the time constraints of the jam. If I decide to keep working on this, the undo system will definitely be the highest priority item, and a close second will be alternative indicators to better know exactly how big each snowball is and is going to be. Thank you so much for taking the time to play and leave feedback! I really appreciate it :)
This was a super fun concept and the gameplay was executed really well! I loved the combination of platforming mechanics with thinking deeply about puzzles. I think the puzzles were well-designed as well and posed a fair challenge. I agree that a dedicated restart button or keybind would be really nice to have, and maybe make it more clear that you can place the instructions before going (I also started out trying to drag them to her as she was moving). Overall, fantastic job!
This was a super fun concept and I think it was executed really well! The movement and shooting felt really nice and intuitive, and I liked the element of strategy when it came to matching instead of traditional shooters with these kinds of controls. The difficulty was good as well, posed quite a challenge without ever being too frustrating. Great job!
Thank you so much for playing!! I did not find this bug while playtesting, so I really appreciate you noticing it and giving video! I will try to find a fix and get a patch out ASAPEDIT: I just uploaded a new build after finding the issue, it should be good to go now! Again, thank you so much for noticing this and letting me know!
