was messing with the version off eka and for some reason the most recent update gave my character narcolepsy. Character just passes out at seemingly random times, even at full energy once(right after waking from another pass-out. I'll try a fresh-download/install later, but it was funny to wake up in random empty rooms, and im not sure what causes this. will also make sure saves are clear.

"What did you name her?"    "...Sock."

its honestly kind of impressive how bad i am at these games, hahaha

hoo boy, way too many choices at this point for drinks. Had a few instances of all three asking for wine and i'd seen one bottle a minute before...and it was the only one i saw the rest of the game too.

I'mma be honest, didn't expect to see MLP stuff on this feed, hahaha. Didn't know you had that.

For what it is, it's not bad. The giant is intimidating, the sound isn't too much(maybe some screen-shake when closer?) Also some items aren't duck-through-able, like the kitchen table in the back and the presents, which threw me off at first. The presents i get, but i was just a wee bit too tall to duck under that table, which felt odd considering how out in the open that entire area is.

Maybe have her stop and look around, with a higher alert range every time she reaches a turning point?

Most of the games i've picked up from Itch have read as viruses to my computer, or at least unknown publisher(which is what sets off those alerts). I've not had any issues.

I think one of my favorite things about this game is how easy it is to identify who's in the shadows. Even if nothing else is visible, a single yellow eye immediately lets me know Nile is in the room. Hit day 10 and they are extremely aggressive now, a much faster up-scaling of difficulty.

Poppi still my fav.

hmm, can't find a way to skip the dialogues and intro scene in story(which kinda drag on forever if you fail it the first time..or third), and the volume on startup blasts my ears out even though another game i have running in the background is quiet and my headphones are set low. Volume seems to only be accessible in-game though, as in after you start a level. Otherwise its interesting. I'll explore more after bed.

Did run into an Issue in the nightclub. Had both Niles and MAddie show up at the door at the same time and the button wouldnt work after letting one in. My guess would be the button unlocks when someone arrives, not when there's someone there? Just a guess based on how it worked. Not common, as I did the nightclub about 10 times and only saw this happen once. Heck, you can win nightclub without seeing Niles or Maddie arrive at the door

I find its easiest to just delete the old files before unzipping the new one to make sure there's no conflicts. With some changes old save files can mess with the game, like things that didnt exist now doing so, or the game looking for something thats been removed. Delete the old inheat files before unzipping and then try to add it to where you keep it. this WILL delete any progress, but it will also avoid file issues.

Really? It should be play tape, gallery, settings, maps, run away, some others i cant think about. Nightclub is in Maps

go to your library and use the download button there. You have to do this for any updates on Itch

There's another thing that can get you, and that is answering the door to the office(yellow button). Sometimes Maddie and Nile will visit and you need to complete a prompt for them before you can get back to security guarding. If you're just getting [game over]at the nightclub and not a paper, its probably them.

Also, the sabatour is Sammy i believe. Cass is the bandit at the gacha/trader, and she's been turned off in latest build for being broken(insta-kills you)

finally figured out what was killing me in the nightclub and have completed it 3 times since. I never saw anything happen with the yellow button, so dismissed it mentally. Bad move. 10/10 would give Nile headpats at gunpoint again.

She is DEF op at the moment

Issue was on my end, recently changed hard drives and didnt have an unzipper so the file was an unrecognized type, sorry for that. Soon as i grapped 9zip again pc knew what it was looking at.

I mean that there's no way to play it. There's no other download right now aside from the hotfix, so its like giving me a straw for my drink without an actual drink, lol.

only file i can see for download right now is the hotfix.

Its not something you're supposed to watch, hahaha. Its a hazard. It could be a rickroll on the screen and it would serve the same purpose; it reduces your sanity and the noise agitates the girls.

The tips mention NOT letting it play. When it comes on(pc starts making noise and the screens flicker to different low-res screens), you have to slap the pc to turn it off. It drains sanity and riles the girls.

She tends to activate even if you squeak once at the start of the door opening, leading to her insta-attacking. Its not intended.

fun so far, though I think the door minigame is both unintuitive and very hard atm. For the first 10 or so times she got me I didn't even know there was a minigame with it. Now though, even using both hands on the mouse to mash as fast as possible I still lose; not sure if that's intentional with the "you're fighting a bioengineered (or whatever these girls are) monster, of course you'll lose" or just over-tuned.

That was so stupid....but so well done. And if its stupid but it works, it's not stupid. So congrats on being a genius i guess?

Just by taking the criticism as constructive you've earned respect from me. As i said, I hope you look at it as something to add to your 'to do' list rather than just negatives. As someone who dabbles in writing, the worst thing a person can do is give generic feedback of "it doesnt work right" or "i dont like it." Specifics help with bug-fixing and issues. The biggest concern for me with the journal is that it makes it look like a 5 dollar flip someone threw together to get some quick cash before abandoning(I've got like, 2 of those in my steam library). In other words: really bad optics. And that can make or break a project. I dont think this is one, and I'd like to see you to avoid those sorts of accusations. Just straight up removing the text and leaving it blank or blacking it out/disabling it would look better.

For now, this entire project looks like a hot mess. Downloaded it around 4 times, each download had different files. Fifth time it finally had all the files. Got in and the sound was soooo high. Even at 20% it was echoing in my ears and that was as low as it would go, drowning out everything else i had running, not to mention the loud click every time i tried to modify the PC. It actually made me not want to fiddle with it as much.

Open the journal and its...please show you're trying by at least changing out the text from the assets you bought for the survival bit?

Buildings didn't place, wood spawns inside tree stumps or lower and instantly fell through the world, the monster by the beach villa is bugged out 7 ways to Sunday(animation stutters, victory locks him in place, attempting inaccessible animations teleports you back to him, etc).  All penetration is listed as butt, and somehow still got pregnant(wut?).

Don't take this all as B&M'ing, i do hope you can use this to fix the issues/double check spawns/etc. I would like to see this become something.

took my first vacation in a long time this year as well, seems like a good time for it, lol. Have fun

The jarring difference between important characters, while making it simple to tell which are important, was actually was sort of painful until my eyes adjusted. Otherwise i had fun, and the characters referring to asking for your help in a future update was very clever.

The girls are mind-meltingly adorable.

None set yet

This was actually surprisingly interesting. The unit creation is both clever and funny, and the idea's pretty solid. I found the unit commands kind of frustrating though, as i couldn't get them to work right and ended up just telling them all to stay in the fort I was building. The enemy variety was also unexpected. Not bad at all.
