Yet you don't know how to fix your own fucking plugin lmao. Yes, i can see your progress with coding has been very helped along.

"I'm just one game dev"
This does not excuse or justify anything. I too started out as one game dev doing everything on my own. Also i know you literally have people who work for you so that line is complete bullshit to begin with. Don't give me that humble crap.

I too make the games i want to make, but I don't steal resources and let dodgy programs do all the remotely difficult work for me. It's not an excuse for what you've done and continue to do, period.

The power tools metaphor is flawed because it ignores not only the immoral theft of what you're doing, but also you have to typically pay to upgrade from a rock or hand tools to power tools. Someone who is then paid gets to use that money to feed their family.

Further, you still need to know the fundamentals of building for either set of tools to serve your purpose. You can't build a house on accident just because you have power tools. It's made it easier. The better comparison to your metaphor would be coding in notepad compared to coding in something like visualcode studio. Makes things quicker but you still are making it yourself.

Your practise of using shady A.I. programs is more like calling in a team of construction workers to do all the work for you, then you taking credit for their labor and not paying them. It's not that difficult to understand.

A.I. is theft, period. To use it, makes you a thief. There is absolutely no way to avoid this reality, it is factual.

(1 edit)

I didn't say it was morally wrong, i just said you cant fix your own code because you didn't make it. Now granted, there is an argument to be made for the unethical theft of someone else's work to bolster your own need for gratification, but thats not what I brought up at all! Kinda funny you thought thats what this was about.

Also me falling further and further behind each year, are you competing with me? That's mighty flattering but I don't consider you competition, you're too bad at what you do to ever be a concern. if you had any well... actual *talent* of your own you might have at one point been seen as a worthy competitor, but no-- you are a joke at best.

I'll stop hassling you about using A.I. when you stop using it and grow your own talent. I'm not rejecting technology, either. I know more about coding than you fucking do because I don't rely on a 'fix everything for me' program to try and remove the problems in my life. How pathetic are you?

You claim ownership over a thing when you post it online with an account that people identify as you. You also make no effort to credit the people involved, quite probably because you cant because your using morally ambiguous technology you dont understand because heaven forbid you make a mild pass at being slightly fucking talented and make something yourself.

Correction: he spent one week fixing the errors that came about after he effortlessly used an A.I. based plugin generator to do all the coding for him scalping other people's code because this man does not know what effort looks like.

All this is to say is don't bother asking for technical support, as this sock puppet is probably more inept at coding than you are.

You released a plugin you don't even understand because you use A.I. This is exactly the problem.

It's okay to be a talentless waste of everyone time, money and resources if you live in the land you do where copyright law is a curse and not something vital to protecting people's hard work from being shamelessly stolen from braindead chimps like yourself and then not even knowing how to work it yourself.

If I were as talentless and shameless as you I might honestly just feel like I'm cringe and desire death. Thankfully for me, I put in hard work, as did the people you are actively stealing code from to prop your image up.
The image of what, someone who doesn't know what they fuck they're doing? Because when people ask you how this works you can't answer, because you literally don't know.
Useless.

Oh man, it's awesome how you don't know how your own fucking code works.

Oh wait, this isn't your code, you A.I. generated this bullshit and then released it for free under the pathetic pretense of generosity.

This just perfectly shows your ineptitude.

Oh look Psychronic, you found solidarity with someone just as talentless and into using A.I. scalping as you are! So glad you could make at least one friend who can share in being garbage, and that should be pretty rich coming from me.

There's the full story (or at least his side of it) over on his website.

Unfortunately altruism is incredibly undervalued in this community nowadays. Though that shouldn't be too surprising, you only have to take one look at the rpgmakerwebs twitter which is 90% adverts for paid DLC to see where the value of that stuff tends to lie.

And like that you've contributed more to this community than 80% of its so-called contributors.

Hopefully you don't get punished for this kind act of altruism like Yanfly did. Different circumstances but they got torn down by two unpleasant idiots who were mad that Yanfly was "destroying" the plugin market, because why make good plugins that are actually worth spending money on when you can get paid to make mediocre ones and then get upset when no one buys them because you can get better for free courtesy of yanfly.

The worst part is a lot of the people who called Yanfly a friend betrayed them immediately if it might mean they too could profit off of that paradigm shift.

Anyway, hopefully you don't suffer that!

Thank you much! I agree, it does have some flaws. Was basically made in 2 months while i couldn't work on my main project!

I surprisingly don't have mummy issues, my mother was a very compassionate empathic person who always made me feel secure. I just like to try new things with my writing!

The only game set in the timeline prior to this one is Menagerie: Remastered- but it is a 6-12 hour long game, so you aren't entirely wrong!

Drinking from the fountain... HMMM! That could be an interesting feature, maybe a quick way to restore all energy, even if there'd be no real use for it! Or i could just make some silly flavor dialogue where Fyori attempts to get drunk and it doesn't work, but then Mad does once you have her in the group.

You're correct, too! I do need to make the Mad / Fyori dialogue on their meet up a bit less obtuse. Will do what I can to fix that for Demo 2 once I get to be able to work on this again!

Thank you again so much for your post and kind words. This really made my day to hear someone had a good time with the game.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much! I am thinking about reworking the intro some. :3

The bizarre blend of visual novel and bullet hell returns in a limited time feedback frenzy! The downloads will be available for this weekend and and then never again!

However, should you grab the download, you can keep it as long as you like!

Errors were made the first time around. That said, the Remaster came only a year after the erroneous release. I wasn't happy with the state of the game and wanted to make a better experience. for the players. :3

Hey Starmage! I haven't had a chance to play this entry yet but I sure do intend to at some point! I'd have said such earlier but I've been without net for 16 days.

I'll letchu know on Discord when I go to streme it so you can watch my silly butt play it!

Published a bit early, as a reward for my followers who will see it before the others.

100 Minutes early isn't too bad! Better than being late~

Drew some art for each character coming to the full game. For what started out as essentially a comical project to test out rpgmaker MV's features it's likely it'll become a decently thought out project.

Valin was never meant to be a black dude, nor Trixie, they're humanlike monkeys essentially.

Valin: The Monkey King

So as you can see, this is the Valin I know and love, only way more handsome since my last render.

Kyoshi Leonova: The Grandmaster in Glasses

He doesn't have a mustache in canon... or a lot of things he does here, such as grey hair, lots of wrinkles, and visible eyes.

Nikki Hirogashi: Magister of the Moon

Her in-game look is the closest to canon, though she has a lot more fine detailing in my version.

Trixie: Unstoppable Drunken Force

Not quite as monkey-like as Valin, but she still has the tail and unusual facial proportions.

Oh my~ Glad you enjoyed it so! It was essentially a challenge to myself to make a project with only me to make art n stuff. The music is still RTP but other than that it's all custom. :B

Actually started as a project for an assignment at college, but I kinda went too crazy with it, I was meant to be simply making a text adventure... :0

(1 edit)

huh... never encountered that myself, but I also haven't supported this very experimental game in quite a while.

if you refresh the page and start the game again it should fix it?

But I'm not sure. What this game taught me was that browser-based games aren't going to be productive for my kinda thing.

So some of you who may have been crawling like snails should now be able to achieve 60fps, there was a really dumb thing I was doing and thanks to one of my followers and my own idea together we found a way to make the game from unplayable to capped fps.

Reply to this thread if you spot any bugs, I'll keep them in a sticky note for Final Mix, whenever it happens.

Sorry if it's buggy or such, there's no way i can test due to not having access to a macintosh computer.

Apologies about all that, I just checked and even with adblocker and firefox's popup protection all works, so you should be fine.

Apparently linking from google drive wasn't as smart of an idea as I thought it was going to be, so I'm just uploading the game archive to the itch.io servers.

Woopsie! Should have tested these sorts of things before i went spreading the link to this page everywhere, but too late to go and worry now, I'll have a new download for Windows ready lickety-split.

A few days late, oops! But the wait is over, you can now play for free the 6+ hour long cinematic shooter epic about cats with guns, eldritch pig monsters and demonic girls and revolution!

Me and my team have been working incredibly hard and fast to bring this overly ambitious project out to the world, we've delayed a few times and are really, really sorry about that! We just had no idea this project would become so large, but we're glad to say, my perfectionism and all-- that it's finally ready for you to ogle up and enjoy!

Features include but are not limited to:
-7 acts of hyper intense beautifully woven content.
-Over 20 Highly epic bossfights that will test you and your current weapons.
-10 Weapons each with different behaviours when fired while moving or standing still.
-6 Power ups you can collect and use to your advantage.
-An immersive atmospheric charming world and outrageously endearing characters that feel real. Also for more immersion you can press f4 to go full screen.
-A bunch of Puzzles and chase events, too!
-and so much more!

The game takes large inspiration from a mix of Ratchet and Clank, Oddworld, V for Vendetta and LackadaisyCats. There are other inspirations too, but those are the big ones that come to mind!

Without further ado, feel free to go visit the game's page if you're interested!

Glad you like it! The full game is on the backburner currently as I and my team work on four other massive projects, but once they are done it's very possible I'll return to this.

i did some Trixie art, figured i'd show it since I've never had a chance to draw the character myself 'til now

Thanks a bunch, my righteous dude! Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the spotlight. :D

It's perfectly fine, and i can tell you did enjoy it, hell if you tried 6 times and still ended up recording it that says more than enough, lmao!

The game doesn't take itself very seriously, either. I mean it was made in a week and more or less as a joke, but then i liked it enough to release it.

Also your snarky sense of humour is the sort of thing I dig, and you had me giggling a lot while watching the video, it did make me see that the game was flawed in its ways, but thats half the fun of seeing someone else play it. You also spotted some inconsistencies that I don't, like Trixie stating we spoke once before after previously saying they'd never talked. That can be fixed in the future.

I should stop breaking people's perception of reality with cheesy dialogue and week long development cycles.

I'm going to end up driving someone insane.

Thanks so much Whit, absolutely loved the video review, and I was not expecting it at all, you made my easter sunday even more awesome!

As for Tristy, she grows a little as the game progresses, but it is natural to hate her at first, she's near morally bankrupt, and Valin is as Kyoshi says later, one of the only creatures in existence who would be crazy enough to admire her. Nikki tends to be good at making fun of her though.

As for the reason why there's three identical weapons, they just have different attack animations in battle, this was initially released when MV was really new and I wanted to try out a bit of everything!

Also, wicked makes enemies take more damage from holy damage, while hallowed does the inverse. It also does 1% of HP in damage each turn, which isn't a huge amount, but it helps a ton against tanky bosses, especially since you'd be using those abilities anyway.

Being able to walk on the ceiling and walls is definitely a bug. But it's almost tempting to keep it in because seeing people react to it is more fun than being a hardass about it, maybe I'll make a climb the walls minigame, lel.

Also now that you've pointed it out I'm gonna make that creepy doll a boss later. You're welcome!

Thanks for the info! Once I consider working seriously on PFC again I'll definitely grab this up.

So from what I can tell, this is an addon / editor gui addition to GameMakerStudio?

If you manage to integrate an easy way to add busts for dialogue, it's probable I'll use this for PFC.

Depends largely on what you mean. Due to being in browser but having to load the resources on Demand it may have a little bit of warm up on low internet speeds. Once it's loaded any one thing once it will load instantly with every following instance of it, though.

If it's chugging, that could be due to a multitude of factors, it runs smoothly for me.
