working on the next games, but currently I'm working on Sleepless Knight II since it will be a shorter game.

SK2 will be about the vague story mentioned in Pandora.

Man I'm having so much fun, its supposed to be a side scroller so it's kinda hard to learn, but it's worth it to learn.

Idk when the next update will be, but SK2 will be free obviously. I'll try to make it a browser game too.

Super Bald Rodney ate mercury. He'd probably knaw on the death star like a jawbreaker for the next millennium.

Thank you! The music was so fun to make. Plus the rain effect added onto the acid rain too.

Thank you! I might come back to this one day and maybe expand upon the story. It was a lot of fun to make.

Thank you!

I agree that part was kinda annoying. I mainly wanted the sell the point that the world was ending and thought a constant reminder would help.

Thank you!

Thank you! I'll admit I don't like the voice at all, I wanted to record the audio myself but I have the voice of a chihuahua puking up a cactus so this was the best bet for me. I'm still learning how to edit videos too, so having dialogue match with the voices is hard to do lol. Yeah all the overworld rooms are the same, felt like a bland world would help contrast the colors within the homes more. I did add a little title each time you enter the room showing where you are, but it's in the corner of the screen and hard to see for most people the first time. The music was fun to make too, and I made a video on the page to give some sort of background for Bald Rodney too and that was also fun to make.

Overall I'm glad you enjoyed it. I would've put more time into that stuff but I'm already working on a game at the moment (thats almost finished) and I am in too deep to stop lol

it's to replace another theme for a certain location

Thank you! I'm not sure why it's 400mb either, probably just forgot to remove a lot of the unused stock assets the program comes with.

I hope the development goes well for the both of you.

9 billion. Go big or go gnome.

Thank you!

I added some optional dialogues as well as changed the player character to a skeleton. I also removed some sound effects, and minor annoyances. If there's anything else I'll update it as I go, but so far I think I like it.

Thank you! Ever since I used it in Cross, I fell in love with how simple it was to use. Plus I love Shovel Knight and it's where most of my art inspiration come from!

I didn't know I checked it as not suitable lol

You play as Liam/Rosemary as he fights through the world battling with his own head for control of his body. This is a short game, maybe 3 hours of gameplay, and a lot of story content that is completely optional yet builds onto the story of who you are and who they are. There are multiple party members you can choose that make every playthrough different.

This is my final game of the saga, and is meant to close out the story. The image being a 1-1 recreation of my very first game's first map.

All the art and music is drawn and made by me.

I hope someone enjoys this as much as I did.

Thank you so much!

It's okay! I'm just happy I got to participate anyways and make a game that expressed certain feelings. Sorry that it didn't end up fitting the tone of the gamejam and you had to disqualify me over it. I hope next year's jam I can make a game expressing some happier emotions.

I hope whoever played it enjoyed it and the music I made for it, that's all I cared for from this event anyways. Thank you!

Can't believe it's already been a year since I participated in the last shroomjam

(2 edits)

(I updated the release file.)

I may add more content to this game in the future but for now I'll just work on my next game and disappear into the ether again only to show up again to shadow drop my next game.

If there are any issues or bugs that I may have missed, please tell me so that I may fix it.

Goodbye.

I have beat it (if the image doesn't load it's cuz itch is stupid)

FINALLY

The remake of Troy: The Soldier is underway, and will utilize every single thing I've learned from making these demo games and put it into one finalized game. I don't post updates here often, but here's where I do post updates:

Updates for the game are posted here:

Thank you all for playing this game, and taking the time to give feedback. Thanks to the judges for playing the game and giving your own feedbacks.

I will remake this game one day after I finish my bigger project. :D

I'll make sure to fix that when I remake this game one day (sorry for the late reply)

I'm happy you enjoyed it :D

Thank you!

Dementia wasn't my idea here, more so just doing one last sweep of an old computer before putting it away for good. Thank you though, it means a lot that this turned out better than I originally thought, and it gives me hope I can maybe do the same with my other projects.

Yeah sadly that's just about as fast as rpg maker can do, not without other scripting. I could've made the map smaller to better help this. Otherwise, thank you!

Very fun little game, I loved it when a bird hit me MIDAIR and I died instantly. Good job lol

maybe one day I'll make a game about her

the grapple is so fun LOL it reminds me so much of ristar for some reason.

Fun game! I got stuck on level 6 because sadly the hamster upstairs is on strike and won't turn the wheel anymore. I had a lot of fun spamming the corruption button on the enemy and making it spaz out lol

I love the Exit 8 theme with this game, and I love the looping aspect. I kinda wish I could play different rooms and stuff cuz this was really fun to play! Great job

Very addicting lol, but the best part is definitely the theme that plays. It's so calming and I love it so much. It's a perfect theme for a game like this and the song makes the game 10x better. Wonderful job, 10 melberts out of 10 gorts!

I had a lot of fun zooming around, but sadly my computer can't run it too well lol. It was very fun throwing those glass plates at the baby looking things. Good job!
