I am pleased to annouce that Master Of Minefields is now available in physical distribution thanks to Komoda & Amiga Plus! Box Edition is shipping with your selected media: floppy disks, CD or all.

Hi VelosCohagen

Many thanks for reporting the issue. Very strange as I tried to reproduce it, but I have not managed. I tried both on the emulator with KS 3.2.3 47.115 as well as on real Amiga 1200 with mapped rom KS 3.2.3 (I do not have physical KS 3.2.3) and without any add-on (neither additional RAM nor faster CPU), but all work for me ok. Question if you boot the game from floppy or you boot the system up and then run the game from floppy? When system is loaded on non expanded Amiga, there may be too little RAM available - this is the only thing that comes to my mind, but I will continue to look at it.

And now it has just arrive :)

Hi AmigaCammy! Many thanks for organizing the even and the prize! Great to see that you continue with AmiGameJams - please, continue as I believe that is a great fun and benefit (with more titles being released) to Amiga Community. I have sent reply on EAB. Cheers! :) :D

Great video! You really got a grasp on the game! :)

I should be able to release the ECS version in a week. Cheers!

Great stuff! Cheers!

Thanks AmigaLive! A for the "Mirror" option - it is only called like this but it does actually what you describe already :) :D. It randomly applies one of 7 matrix transformation on the mine setup from Player 1.

As for the Versus settings, actually 2 bits in the save memory block will be sufficient for me to store both controls setup as well as "Mirror" selection. Detecting mouse/joystick on Amiga may not be possible to what I have been reading so far. Nevertheless, all good as those 2 bits will be sufficient to store the "Versus" settings for controls and "mirror".

As per the logic for Detonator game - it randomly reveals one OR NONE of the tiles around the clicked one. The same applies to tiles in 1 tile distance from the clicked one. The prabablity that none of the tiles will be revealed increases with number of tiles already uncovered.

Very nice video! Please, note that different modes, have different rules, as described on the site and in the readme. Checkers game mode has for example bombs that are counted as 2 behind dark tiles and 1 behind light tiles. I am working still on Game Guide that will describe the modes more in details. Cheers!

Much appreciated, MarcoSherer! All the game modes are briefly explained in the description for "Game modes" in this site as well as in the "Readme" files that are supplied with the game. I understand however that this may not be sufficient and I will try to prepare more comprehensive "Game guide".

Thanks, AmigaLive! Great to hear that you enjoy it that much :). I have followed your earlier suggestions especially with mirror option for Versus mode (random application of one of a few transformations to the mine setup of player 1 for mine setup for player 2) and deprioritization for revealing blocks for white flags in the Detonator mode. As for you next suggestions - let me see what I can do ;) :D. I have still 2 bits available in memory block for saves (to maintain compatibility with earlier versions of saves and keep 8 memory blocks on CD32). I would like to still proceed with release of ECS version in the first place.

Many thanks for your recommendations, as you can see the earlier ones found their place in the game and helped to make it better 😊.

No, it not NDOS disc game. It starts from Startup-Sequence on disk and overall it is AmigaOS friendly game. LHA package includes HDD installer.

Yes, there will be also ECS version available soon.

Definately - I will send them for the entry. Cheers!

Hi HuginMunin,

I am working on the final, complete version as I write the reply :). I have been working on the game for the last weeks and months with new features, requested improvements, tons of fixes and enhancements. Soon it will be available, including ADF version :). I ask for some more patience.... it takes way longer then I expected....

HI Opium Pulses, development of complete version that will include ADF is in progress. It should be avaiable soon.

Dzięki za nagranie i miłe słowa. Dla mnie to też była podróż w czasie do kodowania sprzed 31 lat! :)

Thanks for recognition and feedback, K&A!

Thanks, PixelPlop, for the feedback! For sure I will add more comprehensive guide in the manual for the game and I will check if I can still squeeze in some help/guide in the game itself.

Thanks for all the replies and confirmations! @Amiga Cammy, I now understand the concept and rules. @Wrath of khan, I would like to fully respect your view and I will hold back with submission of any new version until the evaluation and voting is finished. I may have sufficient time to fully complete the game :). Cheers!

Thanks One Joyful DAy for the reply and information! Much appreciated! I have already done more than only fixes but also managed to progress with completion of the game (what I have not managed to do prior to deadline for submission). To be "fair and square", I would wait with new version till end of the evaluation unless organizers confirm otherwise. Cheers!

I have submitted my game for the Jam in not yet final / "work in progress" state. My question would be if it is ok and in-line with rules to upload new version (with more complete game) during the evaluation and voting phase?

Thanks, Amigalive, for the suggestions! They are to very right and to the point! Definitely I will consider them and try to implement. Next version is in development as I post now :).

Thanks, Amigalive, for the feedback - very nice to hear and many thanks for the suggestions! I am working on mouse support, but I have not fought about implementing it for 2 player mode - I will try to implement that. Thanks also for idea with mirroring - in theory both players have the same random algorithm for placing bombs, but it is still random (hardcore code will state it is actually not random ;) :) ) and currently chances of both players may vary. Let me try to address it... :) ;)

Very nice to hear quantumcodemonk - thanks!

Nice to hear, Saberman and thanks for the video!
