I'm deeply enjoying this game. I love the art style, the sound design and the pacing of the story so far. The animations startled me in the best way possible and I'm really looking forward to seeing where this will go from here in my playthrough. One big problem I'm having though is punctuation and syntax. A lot of the lines are missing periods at the end, a lot are missing capitalisation at the beginning of sentences... stuff like that. I enjoy what the actual lines are saying but these errors are pulling me out of the dark and thoughtful atmosphere you've managed to build and make it difficult to continue. That and some of the audio tracks are pretty short so I can hear them looping in some sections. I really love this game and where I've managed to play so far but proofreading and making sure the spelling/syntax of this game is the best it can be would take it to an even better level. Good luck and thank you for releasing such an intriguing project!

This was a wonderful thing to play. Wonderful art style. It adds a softness and dream-like haze to the setting. I also like your timing, how he speeds past some of his words, and how you make good use of the camera to tell your story, panning up and down and having him quickly appear when you open the notebook. I also really like how the impact of the choices are clearly labeled so I know what I'm getting into.

I did notice that a lot of the sentences are missing periods at the end and there is some tense mixing but overall a really good demo Looking forward to playing more!

i've been looking on and off at this game for a long time..... it's so beautiful that it takes my breath away. the colouring style reminds me of crayons and oil paint and you manage to instill such movement in the cover art; it's really impressive. as a fellow game dev and artist, i can clearly see how much love you've put into your designs and how much you seem to have enjoyed making this. your game's art, on this page alone, has been really inspirational to me and one day i'll be back to tell you how much i enjoyed playing it all the way through

Haven't played this yet but just downloaded it and super looking forward to giving it a go!

Just finished reading on comicfury, adding to a collection so I can buy a copy when I have more money to spare!

I appreciate you forever 🥹🥹🥹 <4

Thank you! Trying to finish GUI touches for my aro jam submission and this was super helpful

Hello! Thank you so much for your in-depth and lovely review. More than that, thank you for giving my demo a chance! I'll tell you, I was surprised to see this comment in my notifications.

I appreciate you pointing out that typo for me. Considering the sheer volume of words in the code, spell-checking has proved to be very difficult so having fresh eyes notice things for me makes corrections all the more easy to implement.

I take your point about the style changes in the background — I've been thinking that myself. While I've been working on the main game, I've been considering changing some of the backgrounds that stand out a little too much like the train station and train itself.

Your suggestion for more expressions is definitely doable! You'll notice that the style of the sprites are a little different. That's because this project has been the main driver of my art progress over the last two years and I've been drawing the sprites as I get better and my art style changes. That's why each character only has five or so expression sprites currently but I've been increasing in confidence with regard to my art lately, so much so that I'm considering CGs more seriously and the addition of secondary sprites with different outfits.

I really like your idea about the little details being shown on screen. Up until now I haven't really had  the skill for CGs like that but recently I've improved via leaps and bounds so I'm happy to give that a shot!

Thank you again for playing my game! And I'm glad you see the potential in Micah's character arc. It would be really nice if this indie game shapes someone's formation like so many things created by other people shaped mine.

These are beyond gorgeous!

This is incredible!! Thank you

Thanks for your reply! Warm realistic colours (includes greys that aren't based off cold colours like pale blue for example) would be excellent.

This is so beautiful

Hi, I'd like to request some neighbourhood exteriors. Normal streets with houses, apartment buildings, cars parked on the road, maybe a small corner store or something. Something nice and mundane would be lovely. An asset pack of 6-8 is the number I was thinking. Thank you. No season preference but I'd like there to be trees and flowers in front of some of the houses to make it bright and cozy. I'd also love a night time recolour of the boho apartment and rooftop pack. Thank you. Love your work.

I accidentally made a new topic about this but please bring back some of your older packs if possible! I'd love to buy them and I'm sad to see them gone

Hi, I'm an indie game developer like I assume most people posting on here are, and I had some of your older backgrounds saved as part of my wishlist and it's so sad to see they've been removed from your page! As an artist, I understand that you might have taken them down because you're not happy with them anymore but I'd love to purchase them. I'll link the ones I'd like to purchase below:

I know some of these have new versions but the style of the older versions were cozier and I find that they suit the mood of my project so much better. I hope this isn't an unreasonable request. Thank you for your time.
