I think the easiest and simplest thing to do here is to get a refund for one of the two copies. On Steam you can get a refund if you haven't played the game for more than 2 hours and you bought the game less than two weeks ago. If you do not meet those conditions, feel free to request a refund from itch.

Your issue is caused by a mod. If you are already using the newest version of it, then the developers of that mod might be able to help. From a quick search, I can only see some other people also having issues starting the game with it installed, but no specific fix.

The android version was made several years ago and is included as a free extra. It is not supported or updated anymore, and therefore may not work on newer devices.

I don't know much about how joiPlay works, but someone more familiar with that may be able to have some tips. If you can't find a way to continue the game, feel free to contact itch.io support for a refund: https://itch.io/docs/legal/terms#refunds

You may be able to bypass the error message by adjusting your android settings (particularly those around installation of apps from unknown sources).

I have been working on another visual novel for a while, but we haven't really announced any details yet about whether this is related to AwSW or something different.

/edit: Apparently, the file with the Windows build was hidden by default after being uploaded and we didn't notice. We checked and it should work for you now. Please let us know if you still have any issues.

They both show up now, after we got the email about about the games being published. Strange, but at least it's there now :)

Even when searching for the exact game title, strangely only the DLC for our game shows up. I've checked the options for both projects, but I can't seem to find what makes the difference.  Anyone know what could be causing this?
