That sounds pretty cool! The only things I've ever really made have been with Python, through pygame but it's not really mainstream and difficult to export to the masses. Plus, I wouldn't classify making the player move/be visible a game either.. Also for the learning Unity and C# that would be great, I was actually looking at some C# options earlier today! Do you have a discord? If not, how would you like to go about connecting more?
hanameme001,
Hello! That sounds great, I would definitely be up to building something alongside you. How would you like to connect? I have discord.
FutureInspireGames,
Hello! I agree with that pov. I think if I attempted something as you said from just a very simple start it could fall into place for me. For the game jam you mentioned, what language and engine would you be using?
Hello gamers and devs,
I'm fairly novice when it comes to building things. I understand programming concepts, syntax (Python) but I get roadblocked when it comes to building. I have tons of ideas, I just get blanked out when it comes to making those ideas into projects.
Would anyone be willing to let me shadow alongside them during their game jam efforts? In hopes that I can pick up on how things are done and eventually assist and build things alongside you rather than just shadowing. In return for guiding and teaching me I can do QA for you on the game(s) and the projects. I work professionally in quality assurance. I build test cases, test and fix errors in code where I can.
I look forward to connecting with you guys.
