Thank you! Beyond the post-jam update, we may or may not be releasing on steam after! So keep your eyes peeled!

Lots of great feedback here! Tutorial was made before the main gameplay loop, and it's purpose is more to introduce the controls rather than the mechanics (slap being the exception). Crouch came free with the movement system, but no we did not incorporate into the gameplay because it didn't have a place. We bound it to C because Walmart-wan found out about Ctrl + W. I wanted to incorporate more movement as well into the gameplay but well, I had 50 more pressing tasks at the time. The reason the level isn't a flat plane is because beyond visual interest, I was hoping it would create more interesting movement in game. Hmm. I am just realising that the wall around the arena is a bad thing for that goal.
Edit: Pleased you like my art <3
Even if they didn't make it to day 6! Hip hip hooray!
If you have a project that you think deserved more love, SHOUT IT OUT!
Happy game jam, everyone!
The story of this whole game was strange, I wouldn't have made the day 4 version if not for being sleep deprived (which made want to do something easy) and my sleep deprived work was the only submission that survived to the next day... though, as you can see it did more than just survive.
Anyways, love to see it, this was a fantastic game jam and I'm glad to have participated in it.
You have fantastic taste in music :D! Thanks for working on (my?our?) game, and making it blow up!
Of all of my submissions, I don't quite know how to feel about the one I put the least effort in (I did not get a wink of sleep that night, I don't even know how I managed to get anything done) not just make it past the finish line, but do it with style.
Wait, I do know how I feel about it! Still happy! Even if I couldn't give it my all, I was satisfied with what I had managed, after all.
This game jam was a blast, I had a lot of fun participating with you all!
tbh the only time I felt dissapointed was yesterday's project, because I wasn't able to execute my vision- too ambitious.
The other projects felt satisfying, even the one that got dropped because I had a goal, and I executed that goal.
Anyways, in regards to it feeling better or worse I can't say much about that- the idea was that by limiting the number of developers, each developer is forced to make their shot really count whereas here I had the feeling like (oh I'll just focus on this because the next guy can work on that instead).
And being able to work on previous day's games should help with rng, maybe. Like there are a few games on here that really deserved a second shot.
The stuff it's missing is possible to add in a day, and I kinda worked really hard on making the level to the point of making my hands hurt, it would be a shame for it to be all for naught.
If you can send it that would be great, if not then... well, I guess it's on me for not choosing the project earlier. Thanks regardless!
