Wow the art on this is amazing,,,

  • Dino kid is adorable. The art’s got some charm for sure.

  • Music’s catchy, fits the Halloween vibe.

  • Controls are a bit janky, jumps and wall slides feel floaty

  • Checkpoints help a ton, instant respawn feels great.

  • Okay this game genuinely made me laugh. The intro were very over the top and great.

    - That being said I think you should let the user skip the intro after it has run once. Maybe throw it in some storage or come kind.
    -  The monster looked very cool

    - music was great.

    - I feel like I had to press left or right like 9 times to make sure it took

    - if I saw a monster then after the fight it would go back to the store and then I'd die for seemingly no reason. Kinda confusing.

Anyways. I had fun and you made me laugh!

    • Super cool idea
    • The dialogue and little faces cracked me up.

    • Not gonna lie, I couldn’t figure out how to beat the first level 😅

    • Controls felt a little weird at first but fit the vibe.

    • Would totally play more if you add new levels or creatures.

    • It reminded me of night at the museum

  • Fun idea with three mini-games on one old TV.

  • Consistent art and nice retro vibe.

  • Joystick animation adds a cool touch.

  • “Space Survivor” and “Gold Digger” are especially fun and well-made.

  • Great use of the theme and music fits perfectly.

  • - “Jumpy Bee” could use smoother controls.

aw I see what you are saying with the disorienting thing.

🤔 I wonder what it would fee like if:
    1. maybe the camera moves into the new perspective kinda like how you have zoom out on pause.

    2. Or you replaced the candy a remote or something and the had tv change channels and put a little static in between the view.

Idk just throwing ideas around. Anyway, great job!

OOOOOOO okay missed that. thanks for clearing it up!

Pumpkinate me out to dinner and a movie! This one was fun!

    - I liked that there were multiple bullet types

    - I was a little skeptical about the art at first but it works! The spider dude look really good.

    - It was a little weird control wise because your dash and shoot are both controlled by the mouse position. Idk what else to do those. It certainly make it more challenging then if they were separated.

Very cool. I also made an endless runner
    - I liked the color palette.

    - The game definitely had a unique vibe

    - I was kinda confused that the candy reduces your score but then the tvs dont?

    - It seems like you cant loose.

    - I'd  add health and high score

    - I might add a jump

    - super into this one. I really like the changing of perspective. Its could be a little glitch at times but I really like what you are going for.

    - I think there might need to be a little tuning on the levels design. Some are really ez and other like the dumpster one are like impossible to get a perfect score.

    - Loved the music.

    - I think when you hit the goal portal you could make a bigger deal about it. Something that makes you feel the same way you feel when you get a start at the end of mario 64.

Am I doing something wrong. I can't seem to get out of the first room on either side

Great game! Love everything! Graphics ,puzzles, music, sound effect.

I think you kill it how with the tutorial. The text popping in was great. I wish I would have seen this in more games. What I saw in this jam was people leaving it on screen the whole time. Good job! You are in my top 3 for sure!

One note was the controls where a little annoying and not what I would expect. I think i should have made flag F and teleport E because even if your game doesnt use up or down motion my brain passively thinks those are up and down. Idk maybe a personal thing I thought I would mention it.

Looks super sick. If you add browser I'll come back and check it out. I'm on mac.

Yo okay this game is very fun. It look me a sec but i got the hang of it.
    - Just a thought. Make the pause button a key on the keyboard instead of a mouse click

    - This is a testament to how fun a game can be with very simple elements but a quirk and good level design

    - I think you could have spend a little more time on the little dude you play and it could keep me more immersed.

    -  I really like the death screen. I thought that pretty creative.

    - Best card entry I have played so far. It hard because alot of the appeal to me about card games is the monumental amount of content and moves they which can be hard to achieve in a game jam.

    - Music and art is great. Very unique

    - UI could use a bit of work. Like I have to drop a heal on an enemy which is confusing
    - Im into the font too

    - How'd you make the art for this game?

    • Solid vibes,  music totally nailed that  horror groove.

    • Turrets are fun, but yeah, balance feels off. Upgrades didn’t hit as hard as I hoped or I am bad, not sure which. I dont really play tower defence games

    • Fast-forward helps

    • Would love more turret types

    • Cool idea though, solid jam entry!

Yeah I over did it a bit there. I wish I would have just added it at the end when you die and have another damage sound.

    Awesome! Great job!

Like others have said. very chill!

I found it hard to keep my attention because it felt like nothing was at stake but that might have been the point. If you would have been open to adding some stress I have a couple ideas tho.
    - You are avoiding the other boats. If you hit a boat you sink

    - You have a timer and you have to get it done in time

Yeah i saw that eventually but not right away. It'd be nice if there was like a "error" sound and made it flash to draw your eyes to it.  At first I thought it might be a bug because nothing happened. Kinda dumb on my part tho .

Genuinely scary game. Totally made me jump! Choosing the room is very fun. It reminds me of this board game I play called Betrayal.

My one note is that when you die there has to be a way to get back into gameplay ASAP. I get you want to roll the credits but if you added a R key to skip that would have kept me playing much longer. You should also jus drop the player straight back into game play so they can get a bunch of reps in.

Aye cool game. I love card games.

    - How'd you make the card? AI? I'm not a AI hater just wondering?

    - I might have spend some more time on sounds when the attacks hit. even if it was just one for each character.

    - I'd add some kinda of indicator when you are out of mana.

    - okay the color schema is sick. I like the red on yellow. it reminded me on samurai jack.

    - Also liked the minecraft parkour stuff. very fun. took me back.  A little finicky tho.
    -  Definitely a creepy aesthetic. if you made that crazy owl cat thing. great job. it was horrific.

    - Great TWO themes! lol
    - I really the two worlds gameplay mechanic. Its real fun.
    - I think you made the moment the way it was because it is a small child. It still left a little slow to me.  Not sure what I would suggest tho because it might take you out of it to have this little child zipping around. lol
    - Again freaking art was great.

No engine. Just Typescript and the Canvas API.  I build cloud infra in TS and Go for my day job and every time I get in an engine it kinda gets in my way.  Its probably just because I haven't taken the time to learn it tho.

Crazy what you can do with so little.  Glad you enjoyed it!

Cool, I'll have to give that a try!

Okay theme-wise a little off but dude that game was fun.  Feel like dome keeper/enter the gungeon atheistic.

    - art was super appealing to me

    - game play was simple but fun

    - I think I'd add a sound for when the monster get you

    - I also die sometimes and im not sure why which feels unfair

    - I also didnt realize how fast I could fire till i was like half way through but idk how to fix that

If you have a sec I love some feedback on my submission.

Ayyye what good endless runner fam! I made one too for this jam.

Pretty cool. I liked the movement with the witch! You really nailed that.

I thought the art style worked!

I think I would have simplified the colors used to just a few then relied on shape for the player to  distinguish what is what.

If you got a sec check my endless running out!  Would love some feedback!

Pretty sick dude! How'd you animate that character?  Those aren't all frame of the same drawing right?

Yo this was pretty cool! I was into your narration and the floor popping in. So sick. I agree it should be a little harder, it mad it feel like more fun if there was a challenge and something at stake.  Make me want to take a crack at some procedural generation stuff.

yeah ill give that a try

Yeah it would take a bit of work to get it to work on mobile. I think I'd need to port it to phaser or something that work support iOS & android builds. Probably like 2-3 days work if I had to guess.

How would you imagine the controls working for mobile?

    - tap for jump probably

    - idk how to make the others work tho. maybe a little joy stick thing?

    Good

    • Probably the best or second best game I have played in the jam. The other one I liked was also a puzzle game.
    • I really appreciated the amount of effort put into the story, even though I didn’t dive too deep into it.
    • The art style was very cool and stood out to me right away.

    • The game felt super polished—which totally makes sense considering it was made by a six-person team.

    • I really enjoyed the mechanics, the light system and being able to push things around to solve puzzles.

    • The simple color palette gave me strong “Baba Is You” vibes, which I loved.

    • Overall, it felt clever and smart. As a puzzle game fan, this was totally up my alley.

    Improvements

    • I am really reaching hard for stuff because its really good

    • I wish the text wasn’t always on screen. I think it would be cooler if it appeared when interacted with, to help keep the ambient vibe.

    • The light beam asset didn’t really fit in with the rest of the visual style. I think something softer, like a dissipated particle effect instead of a sharp beam, would look better.

Pretty cool. There is a bug after like 30 seconds where it just take me to the gam over screen and I dont get to play the rest of the level.

    - game too small. You can probably click the allow fullscreen button in the project
    settings and it will work.
    - You still have time. I'd put  a little more effort into the page.
    - art is awesome
    - theme is awesome. I think this is the only radio static one I have seen.
    - since the controls are clear for keyboard idk how to finish the game
    - very cool tho. I like how the you can decode the messages

Wow. I haven't made it past 25 lol

Great art style.  Sound is awesome.

I can't get past the second platform. I would make jump space bar

Fun little warioware like game. Pretty cool! im into it. I really liked the art style.

Im gunna 2x this comment from bellow

    • The game only occupies quarter of the screen, guess you have to adjust games base resolution of the Godot’s project.

    CRT effect is cool

You did a lot with the black and white style

I like that you can do quick restarts

You could swap the assets out and with something that is still black and white and have a lot more character.

Can't believe there are more comments on this one. Kinda a banger. I skip by accident then didn't know what i was supposed to do. Maybe something indicating what my main quest thing is would be cool.
