hi! i'm in the middle of playing the game and so far i really enjoy it. but please PLEASE dear dev can you list the soundtracks you used? they're SO lovely to listen to!!! at some point i kept the game in the background just so i could hear some of them on repeat (especially the ost for when we're at turquoise's house)

i was thinking the art style was familiar and then i saw you're the same dev who made duality and i fangirled a bit ngl. this was such a charming game!! xeno is a charming gremlin (who gives fae vibes somehow???), i love the back and forth between him and mc, and ofc i love the 4th wall breaking elements :D great work as always, nightmare!! <3
i think about this game everyday. holy shit. the level of detail and effort put into this visual novel is INSAAAAANEEEE and somehow SOMEHOW i keep finding more details??? the more i play / look through the itch.io page (especially after the page was updated with the new pics from shift 3) speaking of which I AM SO SO SOOOOOO EXCITED FOR SHIFT 3 !!!!!!!! i get giddy seeing updates on the dev's tumblr blog, i am floored in awe at just how much time and thought was put into this passion project!!! the art is GORGEOUSSS, the characters are all so charming and intriguing (BB is adorable in his good route but in the other routes he is.....scary; and with lane, he's that crass worker that i disliked while playing BB's route but then i played his route and? somehow? i? BEGAN TO LOVE HIM??? HUH??? HOW??? the writing in this game is just, WOW. genuinely incredible. this whole VN is a work of art and i feel like we're so lucky to have this VN available to us for free. thank you laly for everything that you're doing for this project and sharing your talent with us!!! :D
IM SOBBING MY HEART ACHES SO BAD I LOVE THIS GAME AND CELESTIN SO MUCHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Playing this game was an amazing experience!! The devs have captured the dreamy atmosphere so perfectly with the ost and the writing and the absolutely gorgeous art style! I was swept away by Celestin, spending a night flying across the starry sky with him, watching the constellations and sharing a dance together AAAAAUGHHH WHY ISNT HE REALLLL T-T Celestin is one of the most charming LIs I've come across in a VN so far!! AND THAT ENDING??? I WAS LIKE :O Even tho this game was short, I don't think I'll easily forget it. Thank you dev team for sharing your talent with us and for making this beautiful game <3 I hope you have a wonderful day!

WOW that ending made my jaw drop!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your writing oh my god, it's some of the best writing I've seen in a visual novel so far with how lowkey Kien is and then blowing us away with that reveal. I mean, I had an inkling that it *could* be the case, but with the way it was written it was easy to excuse away or dismiss, like the red flags were blended in so well !!!
Kien is SO charming omfg, the way you drew him (and how neat his apartment is omfg) he looks so sweet and unassuming and respectful, I would've easily believed him without question. Good on Sallie for actually calling the locksmith at the end (I wouldn't have even thought to do that ;-; bestie is smarter than me). The AUDACITY of this handsome man to call himself sallie's boyfriend and cancel on the locksmith when they hadn't even gone on a proper date yet OOOOOhh he's so manipulative >:( but I can't hate him XD
I was ROOOTING for Sallie when she choked him out at the end like yESSSS FINALLY AN MC WHO CAN KICK ASS !!!! It got me so hyped to see that!!! Then to see Kien break character at the very end was so satisfying.
AHHH I'm so so SO excited for the part 2 of this game (which I saw you announced on your Tumblr!!!). I would love to see more of these characters!! I have so many questions!!! What does it mean that Kien has that super rare doll with him as well? Did he meet Sallie in the past?? Why is he obsessed with her? Did he move in a month ago while he was stalking her? When did he get the chance to be able to break in to her apartment and copy her keys??? (bc the lock is good, he couldnt have broken in any other way other than copying her keys somehow but HOW AND WHEN??)

WOW THIS IS AN AMAZING GAME! I LOOOOVVE the creepy macabre atmosphere with the music and art (both of which are so gorgeous and fit so well in this game), and the 1-2 creepy jumpscares (which weren't too bad). I'm so intrigued by the plot!!! What happens next?? I got all the endings and I'm super excited to see the rest of this game!!! I hope and pray I get to see the full version of this game, it's quickly become one of my top favourites ;-; Devs I hope you have a good day and take care of yourselves <3
This game....it hurts. It HURTS. The writing is SO good. The depiction of psychological abuse cuts so deep. I love how you wrote the MC and their dialogue and reactions, I want to protect MC \(T^T)/ I love the true ending as well!!! With writing this amazing and detailed, I wonder if the devs/writers are writing from their own experience and if so I hope you are all okay...
This game is so unique with its twist on Hanahaki disease, and I'm glad you've shared this project with us (and so grateful that it's for free!!!). It takes a special kind of game to move me this much and this game absolutely nailed that. I'm glad I played this game. Thank you <3
THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!!! the art and aesthetic, the direction, the voice acting, the tragedy in the plot and all the small details (like the voice line playing when you load a save file) and then i get to the end and hOLY SHIT THIS WAS MADE UNDER A MONTH???? my jaw dropped that is INSANE. the dev team are all so talented!!! i will be checking out your other works!!
Hi dev team! I loved this game and it is the reason I logged back into my account after all these years to leave a comment *BUT* I have some suggestions (and some bug reports?):
- Can we PLEASEEE have a Story Mode? 🙏 The typing minigame was charming at first but then it got annoying when I went back to try to get the other endings (and frustrating when I made errors and just wanted to get on with the story!!!). Even tho it's cute, it takes away from the replayability :( If there's a Story Mode, maybe it can be unlocked after completing one run of the game?
- During the credits scene, when I switch to another tab on my computer while playing In Browser, the music suddenly stops and then after the credits stop rolling, it never returns back to the Title Screen. So I have to refresh the whole page in order to do new runs of the game
- In fact, while playing the game, if I'm on another tab for like a minute or two, the game ost stops completely
- Sometimes the music glitches while playing in Full Screen mode
- Can you add a Skip button for dialogue already read?
Okay but now with all that out of the way - I'll gush about this game.
THE WRITING IS AMAZING!!! I love both boys and their dialogue with Sonia feels so natural. I love their character development in each route. Also the art is so pleasing to look at, I love the art style so much!!! The music fits the scenes and the worldbuilding of the kingdom is interesting. I would be replaying this game again and again if it weren't for the typing minigame :')
