so i'm replaying the game and i wanna leave some of my thoughts/commentary here, including some theories (?) and details i noticed

Even on replaying the game and knowing what he's really like by the end of Part 1, Kien just seems like a really nice guy at first - really chill, sweet, someone who I could see myself befriending. His apartment is drawn so nicely too.
Kien says this line "My nine-year-old self had other plans" (and Sallie notes how he sounded off) - so my theory is that they met when he was 9 and something happened, something to do with Kien's life goals and how Sallie had an influence over it which may have contributed to him growing feelings for her over time. Maybe something to do with Sallie's grandmother's trip and the Matryoshka doll Kien also seems to have.
Kien: "It can take time to fall in love with something different than what you're used to" - HMMMM Kien is definitely referring to Sallie, but ahh I'm so curious just what happened that made him fall for her!! How is Sallie "different"?
Also I love the subtle changes in the facial expressions that you draw! I noticed it when Kien asked Sallie out for coffee dates, where his eyelids lower just slightly while he's being flirty (he's a 🎶smooth operator🎶~~)
ALSO one tiny clue that Kien knows Sallie in the past is that... when he gives her the tea package, he spelled her name correctly (as Sallie, not Sally - which most people would assume). Like sir? How do you know it's spelt like *that*? Because he only moved in a month ago and he hadn't even regularly chatted with her either.
THE ENDING GAGGEDDD ME YET AGAIN !!!! Sallie's own switch-up of her vibes and facial expression was a little unnerving, Like.. something feels off about her too. And Kien's last line being "that was much, much better than I expected" - he was waiting for the moment Sallie would realise that he has access to her place
AND IT ENDS THERE??? 😭 NOOOOO 😭😭😭😭 WHAT A CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!! but it makes me even more excited for a continuation of the story !!! good luck with writing and making the rest of the game :DD
