you can accredit the music to lynx, I am "Rhythmically Challenged", thank you for the kind words!

yeah def, thanks!

lol its adobe animate shrunk down to 128x128, thanks for playing!

yeah having two people allowed us to both concentrate on one thing really hard while the other did the other thing, thanks!

thanks! What do you mean by brute forcing the boxes?

it was only phasing in specific areas where the terrain was kind of weird, probably something to do with the height at which you spawn it, it didn’t take me long at all to beat the game and I only died once.

yeah cursors are weird you need to export to .cur or .ani and on my computer my cursors keep reverting back to default after restarting

you wouldn’t want an ugly wheelbarrow as your only companion right? Thank you

WOW I mean wow I like this game, my only critiques are that it would be better if you could control both players at the same times like fireboy and watergirl and definitely slow down the lava I could barely beat some of those levels in time it is brutal. Also this is unity can't you just change the cursor in the project settings? I don't know anything specific because I use unity but I've never really done custom cursors, when I google it the only thing that pops up is that little box I see in project settings to set a texture for your cursor. I can believe that it doesn't work on web gl because (as I have ranted multiple times today alone) unity is not built for webgl games. Great game had a cool puzzle aspect with the stone that you need DOB for and the water that you need ROB for.

I had some trouble with the onion rings because I didn't realize that the game wanted me to put butter in there as well so I kept trying literally everything until I found that butter worked, the rest of the stages I got first try. The game was fun, my only critique would be more animations to go with the sound and maybe some more punishment for getting stuff wrong other than him getting angry since nothing comes of it, the style is charming and I loved it!

thanks for playing, yeah we ran out of time to make a tutorial(or even a main menu lol) so I can see the confusion.

I think that is the last level and Lynx didn't program anything after that so just nothing happens (don't quote me on this). Thanks for playing our game!

Yeah... you kinda have to do it all in one go and I'm not sure why, thanks for playing!

yeah unity isn't made for webgl releases really, I've already mentioned this before in the discord, unity doesn't support many features in webgl builds, especially with lighting and cameras for some reason, and overall just chugs on web. If you are using unity I would recommend keeping your platforms to Windows and Linux because anything other than those two doesn't work too well, you might have noticed I didn't include macOS and that is because it sucks for gaming and apple yells at you for running unsigned executables and not having access to said executables.

TL:DR having a webgl release makes your game run worse and you lose many quality settings, additionally you have to use the terminal to sideload your game if you export to Mac so I prefer to keep my games only on Windows and Linux, only using web for some specific games that are simple enough for webgl.

I got both players one block (same block) away from the center and mined through at exactly the same time and player one still won, would be cool if the two players got reunited in the middle after ending the game, its a really cool game that functions well, would be a really fun online party game or something, I can especially see something akin to this on mobile. Fun retro game!

The game seems to have problems loading, last time I had an error like this it was due to me not including "Decompression fallback" in the webgl settings, you can try that and if that still doesn't work just export to windows or send me the web release in a zip file on discord (Plackett#6864) and I can try to fix it. I hope this game is cool and ill definitely rate it if you can get it to work!

took me 61 shots, very frustrating that the shovels don't replenish and the power meter is kinda funky.

Pressing B makes the shovel phase through the ground but once you get a grip on it the game becomes very easy, after getting the flower just dash home. :D

This game is amazing, the level design gave me a run for my money with the later levels being too hard for me, sadly I couldn't beat the stage where you are surrounded by spikes and the shovel is far in the distance, I kept getting really close but die when the player touches the shovel due to the shovel digging behind it, I loved this one!

My high score after playing it once was 1175, the game gives you too many hearts making it more of a challenge to die than to live, I don't know if you know this but in the Unity Hub you can click "Installs", navigate to your editor, click the gear to the top right then click "add modules" to add the ability to export to web. its fine and cool on desktop but there aren't any display settings and its forced full screen so having it in a browser would be better and bring in more ratings. overall nice game had a calm aesthetic and played smoothly.

I played this one yesterday, its like asteroids but instead of launching projectiles you launch your friend who can take them out, I find myself orbiting the shaft constantly. Player one pretty much becomes useless after you launch the shovel because they can't really avoid anything and just end up getting hit if player two doesn't protect them. Fun game!

at first I didn't realize that the signs were pointing towards the treasure so I tried to get as many signs as I could and then when I found the treasure I got none of it due to how many signs I put down, also the bug when collecting artifacts makes the game not save so you never get any artifacts, ill try to unlock the other areas later. Good game!

Hello! I played shovel brothers and had a blast, it plays like an arcade game needing no introduction. I think the input system is a little janky but it makes it easier to correct the rotation when the shovels are down, maybe next time add a limit to the rotation so the shovels don't just clip through the ground but overall it did feature Togetherness, shovels, and have some pretty cool art and sound so I liked it. I created Grave Keeper with PremedLynx so ill have him rate your game since I can't. UPDATE: fixed the problem and I can rate now!

cool game! steam release wen?

and we only finished one job, the game was planned to have a few as you progressed through the different stages of wealth and also it was gonna be random which job you got, you could have never seen the pizza game.

The pizza job was never supposed to scale up to the 1 mil goal, we just didn't make the other jobs in time and so right now it is pretty hard, especially since I made the cap on the difficulty on the pizza game pretty high. Sorry! Will maybe update that after the jam.

The tile based combat is very enjoyable but some things are kind of buggy, such as how you can keep rolling the dice forever to see what you would have gotten next and stuff, also how come you can attack then move? I feel like that was a little overpowered and also sometimes I can move twice but idk why. Great job on the aggressive bots, fun gameplay, and adherence to the theme.

oh you knooooooowwwwwwww, fit the theme perfectly, riveting gameplay, short and easy to play, I could go on forever this is amazing game.

This game is great, fits the theme literally, and really nice sound effects + music to tie it all together but I wish it was a little more streamlined, also more camera control would be nice as it gets hard sometimes to see what im doing, I love the concept and it generates these weird cool patterns, for now my high score is 22 but if you make this a little easier to play like a smaller screen or maybe even make a tiny standalone application like minesweeper in Objective C and machine code, I would definitely play it a lot like I do with minesweeper. how did you even get those satisfying dice noises

Boss! You're gonna get us thrown outta here! I really like this game's vibe, it feels to me like the bowling minigames in super mario galaxy, and you really took this years theme literally. The soundtrack can get a little annoying if on repeat for too long and you can make the game go on forever but overall I loved the game and it was a nice and quick one too so I can rate other games as well! Now I see that we should've done more post processing with our game but alas ours had problems of its own to deal with, but yours looks great and plays amazing, well done!

ill rate your game tomorrow, thanks for the comment!

it looks cool and has some nice music and atmosphere but how do I do anything? I tried shoving the little aliens into that spaceship thing but they just got glitched :/ also whats that little red bag with a line and what does Food Left mean

One more thing I forgot to add, the music was AI generated but the sound effects I made in bfxr.

I think I might have said this before but the original idea was a different setting, and the dying made you move on to a new plane of existence where things were different, but then I went with an underwater theme and so I had to scrap that lore. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks!

you should really limit the size of names because you can make the game never get past the cutscenes lol, I loved the game and it was pretty fun except some things like combat were kinda buggy.

dang it now I wanna go back and try that button

Hopped back on today and defused the bomb in 5 attempts, would have been 4 if I memorized the defusing things before heading upstairs, the upstairs is a little unfinished but its still cool, love how it also tracks attempts, I found the stuff behind the chalkboard before figuring out the passwords lol

I’d be mad about it but OHHHH I didn’t know the passwords for the computers and didn’t check the computers past the vent because I ran out of time

I really tried to finish this game but it was just taking too long for my mind to figure it out so I never found the bomb but found out how to disable it and whats the point of the vent? Anyways it was super cool to see a fully fledged 3D game with such a cool concept, just wish I was able to save the player from death lol
