yeah!! It was a thing called keyboard ghosting. I did not know it was a thing! I already fixed it by changing my keybinds.

For some people, it made the game unplayable since they could not dash diagonally.

Oh well, but it is fixed now.

Thank you for the feedback, and thank you for playing !

thank you so much for playing! I was honestly a little down because of bad reviews, but seeing people liking my games always cheer me up! Thank you! :D

Amazing game! It's incredible that you managed to pull it off in a such short amount of time.

This track is incredible and I'm really into the art as well.

I must say everything about this game is a charm. It was such a delightful experience that made me smile and want to see what was next.

I can see the love for games there.

The music and art were on point. A short and absolutely adorable game. 10/10

It's incredible that the composer managed to make something exactly as we're thinking, and he did it super fast !

I love how the music gets hectic as it goes. It is my first time working with such a talented team, I usually work solo

Thank you for playing our game !

Thank you ! Our artist did a good job. 😁

Thank you ! Yeah that's fair. It really needs some fine tuning, I'll keep that in mind,

Thank you for the feedback 😁

I'm glad you like it!

Yeah we love the witch 😂❤️

Thank you !! Yeah, it's one of my favorite games of all time 😁

I'm glad you like it ! Thank you for the feedback 😁😁😁

Hmmm, that makes sense, yes. like a buffer for the dash, right?

Letting people change the dash direction for a few frames after it already started dashing, like a buffer or something. It could improve the experience if the person clicks on the dash button and directionals at the same time.

I think I did a pretty good job for a jam game, but in the end of the day our work can always be improved by giving attention to small details like these.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll implement those and then update the game when the jam is jover.

Wait, but it has all that 🥺

And they are really generous as well.

I implemented coyote time, jump buffer, variable jump height, improved control on jump peaks

That was one of the things I was proud of.

I'm getting really concerned about those comments 😮

Could you elaborate?

Hm I see!! I'll check either way, it should not happen.

Since it works well in celeste and not in my game, I should probably check on that. It could be a 3 keys limiter on the browser or something like this. It is worth checking.

About the control scheme yeah. I added WASD already but cannot update it yet. I'm also thinking of changing the dash button to z, q or even let people choose, when using the arrow keys. When using WASD, I put the dash button on K for now.  I'll review the key bindings a bit more

Anyway, thank you for the feedback! I'll review the controls and make it a cool experience

That's my first time hearing an input did not work.

You pressed buttons and it simply didn't dash? could you elaborate?

You only unlock dash after certain point in the game, and you can only dash again after hiting the ground or getting the dash renewal item. Other than that, it should work 100%.

The input scheme is the same as TUNIC for example, it should not be unconfortable. Based on feedback I already added WASD, but can only update it after the jam is over.

Yeah you're absolutely right. I think Q is also a good option. I may even make them customizable at some point.

Thank you again for the feedback :D

OH I SEE! NOW I GET IT ! YOU GUYS ARE PRESSING SPACE WITH THE THUMB HAHA OH NO

I got a lot of comments about our keybinds. I already added WASD and fixed some bugs, but cant update the game until the jam is jover 😂😅

I use the index finger for space, and middle finger to press C, so it's very confortable. Gamepads are also supported.

I don't really like the idea of jumping with up arrow key since if we want to dash from the ground upwards it would jump and then dash, so I like to have a dedicated button.

Thank you for your feedback, and thank you for playing our game! 😁 I'm glad you like it! I'll update those as soon as the jam is jover

By the way, nice drawing. I see your soul hurting and I'm sorry but it made me giggle

those are real gems, I can't reccomend them enough

Thanks !!

Just found out the ending changes depending on the device, I must have forgotten a delta timer somewhere 😭

Thank you for playing ! I'm really happy with the feedbacks

Yeah, the music is on point right? It was made by our composer, he made a really good job

Thank you for playing !

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! I think just explaining the controls is more than enough or most games

It's funny you saying that ! I made a short youtube video yesterday about this game, and used DK2's Stickerbrush Symphony for the soundtrack 😁

This makes me very happy as DK's 1 2 and 3 from the SNES are some of my favorite games of all time.

Oh, you mean, the control scheme? Yeah, WASD would be good.

I'll add it after the jam is jover. Thank you for the feedback!

it was my pleasure ! great game :D

So good!! I love the art style. The game itself fits very well with the theme!

It reminds me of overcooked but instead of controlling chefs, you click on them.

Nice game!

This was a lot of fun!! 10/10

Very cute game!! Clickers are really addicting I don't know why.

Just one thing I'd like to point out, the ESC button to close the shop sometimes gets out of fullscreen mode, at least when playing on the web.

Really solid game! The scope and the idea are super right for a small jam, I loved playing it!

Very creative!! The puzzles were good and creative as well! I like the mechanic!

I finished, and I must say the level that gave the most trouble was the teleportarang one with the momentum. It was very clever! good job

I STILL WAIT FOR THE DAY WHEN CHESS 2 IS RELEASED

Anyway great game! Love the vibes! The song is really on point and cute. the idea was cool as well! it's incredible how you made a cute game with simple shapes.

Cute game!

I wish we could move the frog. I could not blep them because they were really low.

I'm glad you liked it!

Oh !! Yeah, I was concerned about that. I couldn't add WASD unfortunately, already sent the game near the deadline.

When the jam finished I'll add another control scheme for WASD, that should make things more confortable

thanks!! I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, I may have made it too difficult, but this is where the fun is hehe

Another frog game, yay!!!

Really cool concept. I first thought it was not be cool by the amount of texts, but the dialogues are really funny! you incorporated the soul of frogs.

But the inputs were weird, Sometimes I tried to put things in the loop but couldn't

Cute visuals! cool game!

I just wished some more explanation on controls and mechanics. I wall-rided without knowing I could do that

FROGS GAMES RULE YEAH!

My personal record was 3:31 minutes.

I did not get how to play immediately. The same button was used for both starting to spin the lasso and also tossing it, and I as holding the spacebar so it was not working.

But very good game! nice visuals and the music is really good to!

So cozy!! I love how we buy things from the world itself, it is my first time seeing that! Also, that little music hits!

Cool game ! got stuck on the walls a few times but the mechanic itself took me out of there so its all good!

I had to think about how to complete some levels which is a plus!

Cool concept! The visuals are very sharp and crisp, overall a great designed game!

Very cool and polished! A super solid game!

It's incredible how that many situations can arise from simple rules! Definitely had to use some brainpower

cool concept! really difficult to plan ahead I must say! I cannot seem to remember what I did on the last iteration, so it would be cool to mantain some kind of history

That was a very cool game! Fantastic job!

(sidenode: windows defender would not let me download it for some reason. Then it just worked. Oh well)

SUCH A COOL GAME!! I love the stirring mechanic. Typing at the same time was amazing. Got to 400 points before losing.

Thank you so much! I took my time to make interesting levels, altough for some levels the difficulty spiked a little.

I think we did a very good job but MAN, I did not expect almost 10.000 people to send games this year 😂😅. If our game gets into the top 100 I will already be the happiest man alive. Top 20 will be a super tough fight.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I had a blast making it as well. I like making games I would play myself.

Right?? Those were made by our composer @FirahFabe, he's super talented. The music he makes is top notch
