This is great!

You need to go through the sewers, pick up the sewer key and open the gate to reach Father Gascoinge.

Experience Bloodborne on your gameboy - On the go! Play your favorite PS4/5 game demade to playable state on the gameboy/gameboyadvance, can be used in other emulators.

CHECK ITCH.IO PAGE - Project is still in development

You're going to have to wait for another update to release

Welcome to Bloodborne PSX > This project does not have anything to do with Sony nor FROMSOFTWARE, nor are they partnered with the project.

This project was intended to be a remake(demake) of Bloodborne in PS1 style, giving an authentic, yet clunky feeling to those who've played Bloodborne on the PS4/5.

When installing, make sure you disable your antivirus software, as this can interfere with the installation/extraction process.

Please do not suggest/ask about modern technical advancements for future updates, as this is supposed to be a PS1 styled game, which is why there are certain limitations when it comes to game-play.

The game can be played with keyboard, this is for players who do not have a controller. The game can also be played with controllers. If your controller is not supported, play the game through the Steam Big Picture mode, and configure - or download REWASD.

Save data is located in your AppData -> Local under folder "BBPSX"

The game goes up to the Gascoigne fight, but there are also more bonus ques... (Perhaps.. Gilbert?)

Lilith goes by the pronouns "She/Her"

Fight the Cleric Beast before you read.

Go up to where the estate is located, past the 2 wolves, and head right, there should be stairs. Go down and head straight then left, there are sewers, go straight then turn right, keep going straight and avoid the enemies, unless you want to fight them, up to you. You should see a ladder at the end. Once you have gone down the ladder, go off the platform, then head right and straight, there should be an entryway into some tunnels, there is where you get the sewer key for the area where Gascoigne is.

Lanterns can be used to save your progress, do not save in the Hunter's Dream, that will cause you to spawn in and fall into the void. There is a work around though.

A lot of the game's assets were made from scratch with the original in mind to keep it true. The game was also made from the ground-up, the only things that are from the game itself, are the audio files, and certain textures (i.e, gravestones, etc.)

It's probably because you need to save your game with the settings you've applied, what I usually do is switch the game into windowed mode then go back to fullscreen to fix FPS issues.

Try downloading the lastest drivers your for GPU, and make sure you download the DirectX SDK's you need :D, it's probably an issue with that, if not, you may need a laptop with a better integrated graphics card.

The game runs pretty well on my laptop, I'm currently using Intel HD Graphics 520, which I know not much about, but it at least runs! The problem your facing is probably based on your drivers, you can try updating them.

Press Windows Key + R and enter "dxdiag" to see which version of DirectX you're using. Head over to the "Display" tab and look to your right under where it says "Drivers", from there you can scroll until you see "Feature levels" and see which levels you have, there you must create a final conclusion.

BBPSX - STRATS

Blood echoes strategy - Since Bloodborne PSX has area loading, whatever enemy was in the area (except bosses) will respawn in that area if you go in and out of the area.

Quick and easy Blood Echoes farm:

A quick and easy way to obtain blood echoes (if you ran out whilst leveling up or buying from the shop, or you just died)

Go to the Great Bridge, there are 2 wolves that roam around, make sure they see you. Now run back to the area way where you go into the Derelict Estate, the wolves will not be able to get inside because they're to wide for the doorway. Parry them, or strong attack, until they're dead. Dodge or wait for their attacks. Each wolf will give you about +366 blood echoes and maybe some blood vial drops. Do this as many times as you please until you have enough blood echoes and vial drops of your pleasure.

Beating the Cleric Beast:

The Cleric Beast is easier than Gascoigne, on the other hand, being a huge boss with a veriety of attacks that can instant kill you can throw you into a raging fit.

If the Cleric Beast jumps, wait one second, then dash forwards. Use molotovs to lower its health down faster and do not let the beast pick you up. Make sure you aren't in closed spaces, as it will be hard to get back out.

Beating Gascoigne:

There is an easy, but lazy way of beating Gascoigne, which has to do with molotov cocktails.

Go up the stairs, head to your far left, and drop town onto the platform where you find the Red Brooch for the little girl, Gascoigne will think that you're not on the stairs anymore, thus him running down the stairs and stopping to shoot at the wall, hit E (if on keyboard) or X (if using controller) to aim at him, and throw the molotov cocktails, make sure you have enough (15 will do at most, but 20 would be better)

Gascoigne WOLF:

When Gascoigne turns into a wolf, you cannot use the strat above, as he will jump onto the platform, which you can no longer use. Instead - run up the stairs and back away from him, if he tries to charge you, dodge left, right, or forwards on his side, DO NOT dodge backwards unless jump-charges up into the air.

Bugs:
A(n) mid-sized enemy can clip/push you into a wall, and you'd get stuck.

Hunter NPC's/Gascoigne/Eileen will sometimes jitter-move for a certain amount of time, or possibly for a while. (Jitter-move; moving in separate directions at a really constant speed)

Saving in the Hunter's Dream and loading your game will cause you to spawn into the void, allowing you to fall in looping manner.

The menu would be unresponsive at times, pushing you to restart your game, causing you to lose progress.

Gascoigne can get clipped onto a pixel, and he'd be stuck, not attacking or evening moving.

The Cleric Beast would jump and often at times land into a wagon-prop, allowing them to get stuck.

Suggestions:
Add an option to sell your items to obtain blood echoes.

Character customization of course should retain to the old PlayStation Classic era of things, but perhaps adding glasses and tattoos aren't to much to ask for.

Add analog stick support, as a "CHEAT" if possible.

Add Local Co-op, PVP
Make let the +/- buttons on the keyboard, control the HUD size, for people like me who complain about view obstruction, /j

Lilith Walther boss bonus, but hidden, and with steps to unlock it.

try disabling your antivirus software and reinstalling the zip, make sure you have the unreal dependencies installed

Updated, 👍

I love this

Disable all your antivirus software, that must be the issue

This is the Source to Bloodborne PSX
Download
Enjoy!

This might be updated once BBKart comes out, unless the main developer is planning to release the source WITH BBKART!

BloodbornePSX community · Created a new topic Few bugs

- Can't turn around sometimes
- Loading into a new area or into a save spawns you outside of the map sometimes, and then you die.

I just plug and play

I had someone remove the black bars and had the full screen displayed, I wonder if you can possibly do this, and if so, how do I?

BloodbornePSX community · Created a new topic Well done!

This is very well done, I've been playing this none stop, somtimes even staying up late at night. It is very time consuming and addicting to play, I have played the original bloodborne and I'm proud to say that this is certified as the best game ever, aside from the original, of course.

I will complain about a little bit, though. No widescreen support, no analog stick support and the Resolution gets stuck in one place, although this was intended to copy the same PS1 aesthetic, so, I shouldn't be complaining at all, I got what I signed up for.

The game also works with PS3 and PS4 controllers as well* I'm not sure about PS5 controllers though.
