I’m working on an update to the game that changes it enough to the point I consider it a ‘spiritual successor’. It’s changing from a walking sim/rhythm game into something closer to a metroidvania with momentum-based movement. I’m hoping to make a new project page for this, so in a technical sense yes, but practically no - since it’s the same world and same characters, but with new animations and sprites, level design, monster abilities, various player magic spells, a more feature-rich movement system, and so forth. You can join the Discord for a few sneak peeks of upcoming stuff.

Thanks for the bug report! I’ll have a look at what’s going on here.

If you still want to get to the castle I believe you can go talk to Lin the scientist and get her Ghostlight item to see invisible things - then if you take the path just under the castle you should see ghost platforms you can use.

Thanks! I’ve made a note in my bug tracker so I’ll make sure it’s gone for the next build

Hey,

It’s likely it will be after the full release at this point, as I have so much on my plate just with the base game itself. I’m currently focusing on making the Spooky Forest region, and once that’s done, there will be at least one more region before a full release happens. After the game is fully released, I can start focusing on Android again. Rest assured, I am aware of how large the Android playerbase on Itch is, so it will happen eventually.

Oh I see what you mean - I can understand why that Pumpacle lift would be tough, since you might’ve lost a fair few hearts at that point, and it requires learning a new trick. I’ve added a couple more Pumpacles to the top, so the next build should have that. I’ll make the trick be required for another part, where you’re closer to a save altar and you don’t have to worry about resetting back to a save altar further away.

I’m thinking of ways to make fast travel a bit more fun, but I can probably add another warp NPC to the crop farm. I’ve fixed the toy stat bug, and will be releasing that fix shortly. Double jumping could be a future Ability, we’ll see though!

Thanks for the post! :)

Hey,

The debug build outputs debug logs. You should see text at the main menu that makes it clear it’s a debug build and that gives you the option to open the debug logs folder. There’s some performance implications and the debug build can run a bit slower, so it’s not recommended unless you need it because you’re experiencing a bug or crashing and want to share that with me so I can take care of it. Hope that helps :)

I’m glad to hear that Mari’s quest animation works now :)

Yeah, I’m wondering if I should make Panthrill appear only after the bonus round is done, just to prevent him from making it tougher. Increasing your levels should help, especially bringing the butt level to 7 or 8. If you just want to get through the arena maybe temporarily enabling auto-rhythming in the settings just for that last bonus part can help? But ideally that wouldn’t be a necessary thing

Thank you for the feedback and bug report! I’ll keep this in mind - I’m probably doing a few more small tweaks to the jungle forest animations :)

(1 edit)

No worries about the pit lift crash, I figure that one’s grindy to reproduce and I don’t want to burden you with it more - you’ve done a lot already. :) I have a feeling I know what could be happening based on your description and it’s not something that should be super common, and the exact root cause likely won’t be simple to find either

I’ve just released a small update which might fix the cat lady quest crash bug, let me know if it works :)

I’ve released the small update with said changes now - let me know if it helps with the cat lady bug! And hope you enjoy the new anal menu animation!

Also, for the lift crash you mean it happens just before you reach the lift, like when the score is supposed to show up? And no worries about not being able to replicate it, thanks for giving it a try :)

(1 edit)

Hey thank you :)

I agree with you - the arena is a bit tough right now. I’m probably going to lower all the quest requirements surrounding the arena, likely 3 for the Trial, 7 for the Challenge, and 10 for the Bonus that unlocks the infinite waves / no libido exhaustion one, in the next bugfix update.

I’m having trouble reproducing these crashes. I’ve managed to crash the game with the NPCs by double-clicking the use key very fast - that causes a bug/crash - and I’ve fixed that one in particular for the upcoming bugfix update already. The lift one I’ve had no luck with so far, so if you’re up for it you can use the debug build, make the crash happen, and share the last 50 or so lines of the logs file (you can open the logs folder in the main menu of the debug version of the game). It’s up to you though, no worries if you don’t want to of course!

Yeah, consent is something that makes it easier to enjoy art like this for me personally, so I figured I’d make it explicitly consensual and more of a positive game. I have a new main menu animation coming in the next bugfix update that you might enjoy if anal art is what you want, but also the next content update - the Spooky Forest - will have new entities that do anal.

I can and probably should’ve tweaked the bee-lady flying to last a bit longer, so let me just add a bit of extra time to that in the next update too.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate you taking the time to write it :)

Thanks! I went and tested the cat lady to see if I could reproduce a crash and inspected her code, and found and fixed a bug where she would crash the game. I hope it’s the bug you’re experiencing, because if so it’ll be fixed in the next demo 2 update

I’ll reply here again in a few days when it’s out, let me know if it works then :)

Here’s a walkthrough:

  1. Talk to the witch at spawn, collect 10 liquid by consenting to the tentacles in the purple water. Talk to the witch again, buy the toy from the shopkeeper next to the spawn portal, and then once again talk to the witch.

  2. Walk to the right, consent to a tentacle, and keep moving to the right until you get to the grass ramp and go all the way up it while in animation with the tentacle entity. Cross the waterfall and drop down to the little wooden hut, go through it, and cross the next waterfall too. Go up the next grass ramp until you get to the pink magical gravity lift.

  3. Go all the way to the left and use the bee ladies to fly when you reach cliffs you can’t jump up. Once you’ve reached a wall you can’t scale you should see a glittering path, follow that using the bee ladies’ flying until you reach the TRADE signs and follow them up until you see the breast shopkeeper. Buy her toy and use it.

  4. Leave the shopkeeper by going back down, but this time go left down the cliff and keep using the bee ladies to fly leftwards until you reach a sign that tells you to drop down a shaft. Go down.

  5. You should now have reached another save altar and some plant walkers. Consent to the plant walkers and start their animation, they’re able to walk on the floating grass/bushes so go left, and keep going left until you get past a few wooden huts and another grass ramp. Go up the ramp and keep going left until you see the tall wooden building with the butt shopkeeper.

  6. Talk to the cat lady just outside the tall wooden building and start her quest, use the shop’s toy, and then go back right but this time take the upper path until you get to the upper wooden huts. You should see bushes in the ceiling that rustle and move when you get close, consent to them and start their animation. You’re now upside down and can keep going right until you reach the mimic maze.

  7. Once inside the mimic maze, keep going right until you drop all the way up, and then go left. Stick to the ceiling until you can no longer progress and drop down, then use the mimic bushes to reverse gravity once more and drop up towards the left, wait until the effect stops and you drop down. Jump up the grass platforms until you exit the maze.

  8. You should see a save altar on the left. Now, continue right towards the waterfall with the bush mimics and use them again. Once you fall to the ceiling, you should see a group of purple tentacles - jump towards them until they grab you, consent to their animation, and go to the right of the waterfall where you can fall down onto the previously inaccessible/too high up grass part. Use the plant walkers in the next section to walk up the floating bushes until you get to another pink gravity lift and use it.

  9. You should now see the mouth shopkeeper. Use her toy and go right until you see the farm lady, Mia, and start her quest by talking to her. Consent to the floating blob plants and move them into the open barn right next to Mia. The floating blob plants are high-leveled and may exhaust your libido fast if you haven’t leveled up enough by now, so you may have to go back to the save altar and replenish every few blob plants you collect. Once you’re done, Mia’s animation unlocks if you talk to her or you walk away and come back.

  10. Now that you’re done with the blob plants, go left and just jump off the sky village back down. You should be near the bush mimic maze exit, to your left is the entrance to an arena. Make sure your butt level is at least level 3, but preferably higher as that makes the next challenge easier. The Panthrill boss should let you in through the gate/opening. Win his challenge by avoiding his dash move and chasing him down when he’s dizzy just after the dash move, so you get the topping animation. Repeat this until his libido HP is down to zero and you win. You should now have unlocked a new fullscreen idle animation which you can view by talking to him.

  11. After you’re done with the Panthrill boss, use the arena exit and go left. You should see an upside down green vine/tentacle that you can’t engage with, just jump down and you’re back near the butt shopkeeper and the cat lady. Talk to the cat lady again and she should unlock the next part of her quest. The pink ceiling slimes should grab you now and let you get up the small cliff right next to the cat lady. Keep going left, using bee ladies and slimes to get around until you get to the frog ladies.

  12. Once you’ve made it into the frog ladies part, consent to their animation and you should get a status effect that lets you jump way higher, use that to platform your way all the way up until you get to the save altar. Talk to Prie the plant lady, who will challenge you to a game of hide and seek. Find her three times down below, and unlock her animation. Go back up to the save altar and this time use the pink slimes and move past the bouncy spiky bushes that otherwise push you away.

  13. You should now be in a pink slime area, keep using them to move up until you reach the top and you should see a smug NPC called Mayuri. Do her challenge quest by jumping into the pit full of bush vines, and beat her score of how many bush vines you can engage with in one jump. The trick to doing this is to edge and keep the animation going as long as possible unless you have 5 bush vines in your animation already, then you can rhythm until they finish and drop you down to the next level. Repeat this until you beat her score and unlock her animation, which will be viewable at the bottom of the pit. As a bonus, you’ve now unlocked the green vine travel path at the bottom-right of the pit, should you want a faster path back to the Panthrill boss arena.

  14. Once done with the bush vine pit, go left from the top of the pit and either jump to the ledge/opening you see there, or just jump down the cliff and go left until you see a wooden rope left. Use the lift and you should be in the same spot as the ledge/opening. You should see some raised platforms, jump onto them and you’ll see another glittering path, follow that using a combination of the frog lady’s jump effect, pink slime ceiling travel, and bee ladies’ flying, until you reach the area just above. Go left until you see a save altar. Just past the save altar you’ll see a floating island.

  15. Inside the floating island you should see a bunch of potion boxes for Mari the cat lady’s quest. Activate the floating island, which will start traveling to the right. Avoid all the floating glyphed stones you can, and re-activate the island if you do engage with one of them. The island should eventually reach the sky village just above the blob plant farm, where a tall ogre lady will be. Talk to the ogre lady and you’ll unlock an animation with her. You’re now done with Mari’s quest, go back to her by jumping off the sky village to the left and taking the path through the Panthrill boss’ arena and jumping down back to the butt shopkeeper and Mari. Talk to Mari and complete her quest, unlocking her animation.

  16. For this next part you need to make sure all your levels reach 5. Bee ladies, purple tentacles, and green bush vines are good to increase the breast level. Purple tentacles, green bush vines, and bush mimics are good for leveling your mouth. Once you’re level 5, go back through the pink slime areas until you reach the wooden lift again and go left to enter the entity wave arena. Talk to the blue arena NPC.

  17. You’re now doing the trial challenge of completing 5 waves. You might not need potions yet, but it can make it easier if you do struggle with this part. Finish the animations with all the entities in the arena to win a wave and do this for five waves. Go back to the arena NPC and talk to her again, this time she’ll challenge you to ten waves. Go to the shopkeeper and buy and consume one of each potion, and bring an extra libido potion with you into the arena. Complete 10 waves and talk to the NPC again, and you’ve unlocked the dark forest sneak peek just below the arena.

  18. You can now complete a bonus challenge of 15 waves. This is tough, but it unlocks a mode where the arena no longer exhausts you and you can go for infinite challenges against entities without worrying.

And that’s it for the current demo’s content :)

Hey!

  1. Yes, it’s a public Discord and you can join here (just fixed the link here on Itch, looks like it was broken)

  2. Not yet, but something like a succubus fast travel system is the plan

  3. Thanks for letting me know, is it something you can replicate or did it only happen once? If you know how to make it happen, then I’d love to know - or you can share logs if you want by using the debug build

  4. Right now there are six quests, but I should probably add that to the quest menu so I’ll take note of that

Thank you :)

I returned to say I released an update that might’ve helped… but I also just noticed something in the logs you posted: you might be missing the saucy_disc.dll file when you unzipped the game, at least the logs are saying it’s missing. Make sure both saucy_disc.dll and disrobia.exe are in the same folder when you launch the game and it should work :)

Hey, can you provide the godot.log file after crashing in the debug version? You can open the logs folder by clicking the debug message in the main menu, and you should be able to just open the log file in Notepad.

I’m not sure if you can just copy/paste the whole thing directly here - if it’s too big then just the like last 50 lines or so should work (don’t need to be exact) :)

  • Is the project still alive?

I’m working on an ‘spiritual successor’ that changes things so much it’s becoming something closer to a metroidvania with the same characters but new sprites and animations, two new separate magic systems, momentum-based movement, new level design, and so forth.

  • Will there be an Android build?

Yes, sometime in the future. Android builds are only at the experimental stage and need more optimizations and bugfixes. Android builds aren’t currently the focus, but it will be at some point and once that happens I’ll make sure to update and notify the community. :)

  • When is the next release?

The most up-to-date progress and estimation updates will be on SubscribeStar, but the goal is every few months. The next content build will be an insider build available through SubscribeStar - it’ll contain a part of the Spooky Forest.

  • My game’s crashing, what do I do?

Check the Report bugs and issues here! thread. It has instructions on how to help share information and logs and describe issues.

  • I have another question!

Please open a thread. If it’s a common question, I’ll add it here. Thanks!

Hey! At the moment, the Dark Forest is the priority. The Android mobile build I’m experimenting with needs some optimizations and bugfixes that I haven’t had the time for yet - the mobile build will probably be out sometime next year, but I can’t make any promises for an exact timeline. I know there’s plenty of Android users who eagerly want to play the game, so I definitely want to do it, rest assured :)

Thanks for the post! What area were you in when this happened? I’ll see if I can try to reproduce it and get it fixed :)

What are your specs and what OS are you using? It should work on pretty much any PC and Windows OS from the last 10 years or so I would think. A couple of players had luck with updating their drivers (especially GPU) to make the game work.

Yes, an Android release is in the works, it will be released eventually :)

Thanks :)

The quest interface should say something along the lines of “the quest reward will be available in the next update” so there isn’t a way to get the potion yet, but once the second demo update is out the full quest for the cat-tailed lady will be available

If you bring them inside the barn next to the farm lady they give you liquid - the farm lady should mention this, but I’ll think of additional ways to make it clear for the upcoming release because I can see how it can be a bit confusing :)

(1 edit)

I’ll have a look into this - I think you’re the first to report this specific bug so thanks for letting me know!

Thanks for the feedback! A map menu is in progress and due to be released in the next build, so hopefully that’ll make things better then. There’s a controls menu in the options, but maybe you mean something else? Maybe related: a sex tutorial is coming in the next update, which might help.

(1 edit)

Hey - after you’ve gotten to the breast shopkeeper, you can use the bee ladies to fly to the left of the breast shopkeeper. There’s a drop down shaft with some floating lights into a next area there, but I can see how it isn’t obvious so I’ll improve that for the next update :)

Hey - I’ve had a few other players report this, too. One of these usually fixes the issue:

  1. Make sure you’ve unzipped both the saucy_disc.dll and disrobia.exe files into the same folder
  2. Update your drivers (e.g. GPU, maybe others)

Hopefully that fixes it for you too, and if not, please share any details about your system you can - for example operating system and what version (Windows 10, 11?), and what GPU you have (Intel/Nvidia/AMD, and what model)

Hey - the quest log should mention that the rest of that quest/the reward will be available in the next update, you’ll be able to find the potion once part 2 of the demo drops :)

Hey, thanks for the post!

You can rebind controls in the input menu by clicking them - and right click erases bindings. I should add a little description to that page to clarify, because I can see how it isn’t clear (my bad!).

A sound cue is a good idea and can be done. The visuals part - others have mentioned that it’s a bit unpredictable, and your idea of showing it coming up is something that’d solve it I feel. I’ll write these down and I should get them done in some shape or form for the part 2 demo. :)

I can add a darkness slider so that every player can get something that suits them - it’s a good point, I shouldn’t assume everyone has my screen or brightness so the slider should take care of that.

(1 edit)

Thanks - I really appreciate the in-depth feedback! I’m taking note of these suggestions as I’m actively thinking about how to make the game less frustrating in certain areas, and more pleasant/fun, while I work towards the “part 2” free demo. :)

Yeah it’s pretty hard to do right now, others have said the same - the next update should hopefully make it a more pleasant area to get past

Yeah I’m rebalancing the monsters a bit for demo part 2, the maze should be less tough in the next build :)

I’ve been sort of questioning whether I should add an internal view to them since they already zoom in with the jelly, but I’ll take note of it since it’s not a complicated thing to add so expect that in the demo part 2 build

Oh, I can see the confusion here - I should add a monster history screen :)

The walking plants I mean are the ones you ride on top of while they walk around, not the red tentacle bush mimics that slide around in bushes - hopefully that clarifies it!

No worries - I have a feeling I know what’s going on, thanks!

It’s just above the area you first meet the walking plants / above the path towards the butt shopkeeper

Hey - if you’re past the red tentacle bush mimic maze then instead of going into the arena on the left, go right and use the bee-ladies to get up on the ledge there and continue upwards. You should reach a new area then :)

(1 edit)

Once you get to the rustling bushes, they allow you to walk on the ceiling - go a little further towards the walking plants and you should find a maze-like area full of rustling bush mimics. Once you’re through that you’ll exit next to a save altar and a boss arena on the left - go right instead and use the bee-ladies to get up on the ledge and continue upwards until you reach a magical gravity lift. The mouth shopkeeper should be up there on the right

Hope it helps :)

I hear you, it’s a common frustration - I’m reworking consent to be partially manual in the upcoming demo part 2 update so you have the chance to explore in peace

Hey - the catgirl lady hints at where to go, there are some rustling bushes in the ceiling above above the walking plant area, they’re doing level 1-2 anal stuff. I’m going to make this a bit more obvious in an upcoming update, and improve the way toy effects work a bit, too.
