As mentioned in the Discord, the showcase will be Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 @ 12PM EDT on my Twitch channel ( http://www.twitch.tv/pinuwuk ). If you cannot make it, the VOD will remain up and available for you to view after. I will also be highlighting the VOD on my channel, along with editing it down for YouTube in the future.

For those that submitted -- please do not update your game after Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 @6PM EDT or it will not be included in the showcase. We have a team to review the games to ensure they're safe for stream, so if you update it past this point we can't verify its safety and will have to omit it from the showcase.

Thank you for your time!

Please be mindful of the rules before submitting your game to this jam. We've gotten submissions from folks who have made their piece prior to the jam even starting, which is not allowed! While we allow people to work on assets prior, you must develop the game within the timeframe established by the jam. All of these submissions will be disqualified.

There is a team to review the games prior to the showcase to ensure the content is safe for stream and follows the guidelines provided. If your game does not follow the rules of the jam or meet the theme of "Halloween" and "lil guy", your submission will also be disqualified.

If you have any questions, please ask below or message me on Discord @pinuwuk.

Thank you for your time.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to put out a general notice about the Discord linked.

The Discord server is a combination of my own personal art/stream community, and my game jam community. I found it difficult to maintain both spaces separately, thus I've combined them to ensure they remain active! I know that everyone might not want to participate in both, so both sections are separated by two different roles. You can gain either or both roles by checking "Channels & Roles" at the top of the server.

If you only want to participate in the game dev/game jam portion of the server/community, please select "Game Dev/Jam Community Section" only! This will give you access to important channels and all game dev/game jam related channels. If you only have this role, you won't have any of the community channels cluttering the server for you.

If you choose "Pinuwuk's Community Section" you will see more of my personal community surrounding art and Twitch, which is more of a casual hang out space that encompasses more than game jams/game dev stuff. Even if you only select the game jam section, you will still have access to community spaces like voice calls for work sessions, watch parties, etc. so don't worry about missing out on any fun activities!

I just wanted to clarify this since there's been some confusion when people joined. I don't have any personal feelings on whether or not people choose one or both, especially since I made the roles this way because I know not everyone is interested in either side, so don't feel weird about not wanting to participate in everything!

This Discord space will be used for all future jams, so feel free to stick around after the jam and share any progress of your game work in between. Aside from this current jam, we have another jam estimated for January, then more in March, June & September!

Also one last note -- I don't mind people joining and leaving every so often, but those who repeatedly join then leave shortly after multiple times in a short time span will be banned from the server for suspected bot activity! We want to ensure the community is safe, and that there is no one joining to solicit things/scrape information. If you feel you have been misjudged as a bot, please reach out to me directly and we can get things sorted!

Take care and happy jammin'!

Mimi become real,,,

Genuinely loved every aspect of this game to bits!! Fantastic work <3

Great game all around, I really enjoyed myself! The game loop was very fun and the lil guy was super cute!~

Wonderful job Triss! Absolutely loved every bit of this -- very unique concept and awesome execution!

Great work, I had a ton of fun with this! There's something very nostalgic about it -- I really look forward to playing it again soon.

Congratulations on completing the Lil Guy Game Jam! It was a great first year, and I greatly look forward to playing all of your games! Quick reminder to fill out this form so that we can properly credit you and the game in the showcase.

The Lil Guy Game Jam showcase will be hosted on (my) Pinuwuk's Twitch channel on Friday, April 11 2025 @ 2:00 PM EDT. If you cannot make it at that time, don't worry as the VOD will remain up. I will be creating a YouTube video of the showcase as well, but that will most likely take a week or two to properly edit.

We'd also like to note that anyone looking to continue working on their submission is welcome to join our Lil Guy Game Polishing Jam in August! You're more than welcome to work on your game in the time between this jam and  that jam as well.

Lastly, if you have received a notification of your game being disqualified, it is because your game does not abide by the rules stated on the game jam page. Your game will not be included in any showcases related to this jam if your game is disqualified.

Thank you so much again for your participation! If you'd like to keep up with all of the future Lil Guy Game Jams, you are welcome to join our Discord here!~

Sounds good, just sent it! :)

Hi there, I would absolutely love to assist you!
I don't share my actual name online, so if it is ok for me to use my artist name/username that would be optimal!
If your professors have any questions I can also attach my e-mail for them to reach me as well if there are any concerns.

I actually have a question about your game as well, so is there a better way to reach you/send this document?

The game jam has been extended by 24 hours!
We urge that you join the Lil Guy Game Jam Discord Server for any sudden updates!

If you would like your game to be reviewed in the official review stream, please fill out this form below:

(This is also for if you want your game to be showcased on any of our game jam socials/sites!)

No worries at all! These things are easy to miss ^^

It's stated on the game jam page that there's no ranking for this jam, so there's no winners! I will personally reviewing them and showcasing them on my Twitch stream, but this jam was for fun.

This game will become an annual jam, so we may do ranking in the future if that interests you!

Hi there! It's listed on the game jam page that this will be unranked, so there will be no official judging or prizes! There may be in a future year of the jam, but we wanted to keep it chill for the first year. Thank you for participating^^

Hi everyone, I've talked about it a bunch but we officially have it planned--the Lil Guy Game Polishing Jam! I figured I would throw this in here since a lot of people have been panicking about their submissions. As this game jam states, your submissions to the Lil Guy Game Jam aren't required to be refined--just playable! We can focus on refining in the polishing jam if need be!

The polishing jam will focus on refining what you submit to this jam. You are welcome to work on your game in the period between these jams as well!

Find out more here: https://itch.io/jam/lilguygamepolishingjam

There's no limit--as long as you follow the theme & follow the rules you're free to create whatever you'd like!

Yes! You are also allowed to start working on assets (art, music, etc., no coding) prior to the jam's start as well.

Hi Meenatar! I'm not sure how we'd be able to review your submission on our end, so it might potentially not be reviewed on various streams like other submissions. If you are ok with this, you are more than welcome to create a TTRPG on lil guys if you'd like to join in!

Hi there! "Lil Guy" will be the full prompt for this year! In the future we will add additional themes, but I wanted to keep it simple for the first year of the jam!^^

We have a section dedicated on the Discord to this, but for those that don't want to join the Discord you can shoot your shot here! Introduce yourself and let people know what you're looking to do for the game jam. If you have a link to your portfolio, feel free to drop it!

Thank you all for joining so far, I'm excited to see what you all create!

Excited to see what everyone cooks up, good luck everyone!
