Hey there! How did you find me suddenly? Anyway I want to tell you that it doesn't really matter what product it is and Steam is not always the way to earn profit but any game I believe can be a winning product if we all know what we're doing and how we want our games to look and play! I think that is one of those things that will make a great and exciting game! The only problem is finding the right community thats more active and populated, plus the right software we need to create our games because I already tried a lot of them and most of them wouldn't work well for me! The only best one I could use was ClickTeam and theres no other better thing to use that make games faster and more easier than any other software in my opinion!

I hardly get replies with my posts and thats why I hardly come here anymore. My devlogs still exist but I no longer update them because I thought nobody would care or maybe I haven't brought up enough content on my post guess? Anyways Im always still looking!

Wow suddenly more people talking here after several days or weeks of silence lmao.

Of course most people love platformers because of the popularity of the genre thanks to classic games many grow up with like Mario, Sonic, Bubsy, Banjo Kazooie, Crash, Spyro, lots and lots of platformers indeed! Even Castlevania, Mega Man, and Metroid would all fall into that same category as they are games where you always have to run and jump while collecting and killing things lmao.

Visual novels are one of those very few genres always being frowned upon American gamers because they are not enough games to make us more familiar with the genre plus most VNs are always boring with often very little to no interaction! Japanese developers like VNs because they are great for story telling and of course the anime artwork are always been a overrated trend there since everyone grew up with anime art in Japan. We don't get a lot of games based on anime shows back then and thats why I always been inspired to come up with my own games based on my favorite series that sadly never got adaptions from anime films and shows even if they're only in Japan or never been produced.

I love making games because its my favorite passion but at the same time I want people to watch me work and chat with them at the same time but I don't have any idea where to find those kinds of places! I tried Discord but couldn't understand how the streaming feature works plus there lots of servers that can be very strict about it as I already been banned in most servers that control freak morons think I don't fit in or something. Thats why I hardly visit Discord servers anymore or even hosting my own because nobody seem to find my servers or most people are too busy with popular servers they might not even be paying attention with new servers at all.

I still use Discord sometimes but only if I find anyone with Discord to invite them to talk on my DMs. Since most servers out there think Im spamming or harassing new people just to say hi to communities I would join :(

About you, I am not a politic kind of guy, in fact I hardly care about anything to do with politics as I am trying to focus more about myself and my goals! Unfortunately, its very complicated for me to achieve anything right now because I am still looking for sites that are more populated and active than here. My reason for joining here because this site will let you accept donations if people like your work! Which I am pretty sure most people will because I have over hundreds of great ideas Im sure not much devs would ever thought due to how awkward both the indie and official gaming industry been evolving lately and the very long lack of nostalgia thats been badly missing from the 90s and 80s! Gaming today is no longer the same anymore! Where have all the great wonderful people and their ideas for game development from back then took off? This is why most of us indie developing folks should start making more games based or inspired by classic titles we always grew up with that made our favorite old consoles really worth our time and the efforts from their devs!

Unfortunately for all of us fellow gamers, 2000's changed the gaming industry which badly affect our gaming experience! We must make games like this in order to bring back the old nostalgia  experience that the 2000s have always missed! Great games made before will never be great again today and thats why I always play old games more than new ones honestly.

Anyways, my apologies for the long reply! But I hoped you appreciate those unbelievable words I have mentioned here! and maybe more devs here will learn something new from me lmao.

Let me know what kind of games you make!

Does anyone remember Earthbound? Im sure most people do especially in America where the fan base have always been increasing every year all because of a extremely famous fighting game called Smash Bros that made this criminally underrated RPG that was badly long forgotten by the Japanese gaming industry and not so bigger fan base at large there despite how more strong their gaming market was for Earthbound there than here in America!

Nowadays, I seen most fans making Earthbound games too or least inspired by similar games like Undertale. But this time, my very first EB game will NOT be your usual RPG. It will be a brand new way to experience this very long beloved series, a classic Tetris styled puzzle game! That's right, instead of fighting with your foes with usual and typical turn based action, you will be stacking up blocks by matching the colors and symbols to perform various moves depending on what character you play as!

The first Earthbound fan game (I think) for up to 2 players! and also the first (maybe?) EB fan game to be a puzzler and not another RPG like most other EB based fan games in the past.

There will be a few modes but lots of characters to play as! From Paula to Flint and even Loid! There will be hidden characters but you have to challenge them first throughout the Story Mode in order to play those characters you already beaten first!

Lots of secrets and surprises to see in this upcoming game! You will be unlocking hidden modes, stages, and other cool features unlike any other EB fan game or official! This will be the most special and unique game based on the Earthbound series and my very first one to make!

I am currently looking for people to join and help out my project! If you are interested just simply drop me a message on my Discord!

What really needs improving here is having more active people on board with this community! When I post something about my upcoming game I only got 2 people replying to me! Isn't that a horrible pity?! What are most people here looking for or what are they expecting? Most people here should know better that this isn't Game Jolt and not just some store where they can only come to buy games, I join this site to find gamers and creative people like me to chat about my work and showing it at the same time! It will take me time to bring up a demo of all my games. I just want to talk and show what I currently got at the moment. Plus I like a better page or something where I can talk to more people instead of waiting for replies for days. I hope you understand my issue here.

Hi I want to tweet you but I don't want anyone from the mother 4 team to recognize me there so I deleted my tweet. I want to tell you here instead regarding your tweet with one of the team members!

"Nah its been forever since we last seen that filthy trailer in 2020. I be surprised if the M4 team are still alive and still can't to do anything with the game anymore because of too much school and work taking up most of the time from the team, I can tell they hardly get free time."

That was my tweet. Hope they wouldn't find this, not they shouldn't care about other people's games if they want to waste more time working on it when they have no more free time to continue it. This was why M4 never came out when it was supposed to in 2014 Winter according to a old trailer.

Im going to open a new post on game dev log or a better page around here so more people can find me if they might be interested to join my own Earthbound games coming! You can find my Discord name there on the new post (when I open it today) if you want to chat with me!

at first he told me his internet will be off during the morning and and he had something to do around 11. Passed those hours until 4 am the next day, he finally showed up again and said he was hanging out with a friend and was sorry about it. The next few seconds when we were talking about my project, he said BRB (means "be right back" literally)  and right after he left, I saw he unfriend me and I couldn't send him messages anymore. :(

Whatever his problem was and why he never explain to me regarding how he really feels about me and my work. We don't even know for sure if all those things he say are excuses or if he's telling the truth. I only want a friend who can be more active (and at least someone who I can really trust) with me to chat but it seems like the whole damn world is too busy with the ongoing phenomenon from nowadays called  Covid or whatever their personal issues is.

I figured more people are getting too busy than ever, especially work, I guess more people would be working harder than previous decades because of economy in America and possibly other countries in the world  are badly decreasing due to having new abusive leaders lately.

Game project will be halted due to stress. Sorry about this guys! Thankfully I got a sprite finished before I was ghosted by a unknown member on Discord! I already blocked and reported the creep mysef.

the game will be the same as it was last time I was working on it. Just hang in tight until I get something to show soon!

Hey there, just want us to keep in touch! right now I have nothing new to show yet but I can tell you this game will be almost the same like it was in 2014! with only few minor changes and improvements but the rest will be the same!

theres more coming! keep a eye here for now until I find a better page where to update this for more people to come see!

its going to take me at least 1 or 2 weeks (approximately) to make this game. I cannot make promises because I don't have all the resources needed for the complete game but yes I can still make a demo or playable build of it with the stuff I got for now.

Let me know some good communities I can join to discuss about my projects! Your opinion will always help!

Current work in progress!

how often do you check posts here? Im surprised not many people are seeing or replying to this

Mion and Rika Higurashi Adventure - Devlogs - itch.io view my post about my game here!

Not very good but very busy! I am still looking for people who are currently active to chat and show my current project! Here is a link to my first post about it! Mion and Rika Higurashi Adventure - Devlogs - itch.io

Its a very special game to me and been working on it since 2010! unfortunately I lost 4 computers due to virus attacks. I made the wrong move buying a Mac and now I am finally back to Windows so I can make games again.

Feel free to message me on my project post! I update frequently!

I don't have much to show here than just the title logo but I have lots of detail to explain about this game!

This will be the first introduction post for now, until I get replies I will post more to keep our conversation going!

In the meantime, this game is being worked on currently which means I will be posting every now and then instead of making you guys wait daily. So you can always be up to date!

This game is called Mion and Rika. It was formerly called Higurashi Adventure before from a entirely different older build of this project before I lost those old works and wanted to start new all over again but carried the old title with the new name to keep up the same project I supposed to have finished back in 2014!

As a die-hard Higurashi fan, I always wanted to play a video game based on this series. Too bad most Higurashi games are always visual novels and very little you can do with them than just read the story and there very few mini games that all of them have nothing to do with the story.

The only Higurashi game I could play is Daybreak (a fighting game where you can play as Mion, Rika, Rena, Satoko and others from the anime!) but the English patch is very hard to find and last time my anti virus detected the patch (not the base game, its the English patch only) have a virus and I was not able to play it so I deleted the patch which had the virus in it.

Mion and Rika was a very long planned project, it came to a halt when suddenly my last 4th Windows PC was gone and I end up wasting my years with my first Mac which prevented me from making games! It was only a matter of time when I finally got the budget necessary to afford going back to Windows so I can continue this project!

Now that I am finally back to this, we can start talking about it while Im currently working on it! In the meantime, there will be updates posted constantly when I have more screenshots, assets to show like artwork and music, and playable demos of the game!

As you can see below, this is the title screen and cover art logo! Higurashi Adventure is just a title for this game and will only be used for this game to avoid confusion if there sequels! Higurashi Adventure will be the very first game that will start as a series of amazing and exciting platformer adventures starring 2 old familiar characters I am sure that fans of the Higurashi anime will surely recognized! Mion Sonozaki and Rika Furude, as "super heroes"  artificially made by Hanyu who is now the mayor of their home land called Hinamizawa (it was a village in the anime, its the name of a country in this version of Higurashi!). Their main job is to tackle missions assigned by their mayor, saving people's lives from natural disaster, kidnapping, and other known tragedies. They would step up and fight evil from time to time in order to prevent them from going near their town (the village of course!) or causing harm to the town.

I have more to say about this game after you reply first!

hey there! let me know if you have discord! I want us to chat about my game.

I have a problem guys, because I am new here and didn't know what to expect from this site, I am unable to create a new page for my game because a playable demo is required to start my page and it will take me a while but not a day or 2 to create a short playable demo to give you guys an idea how my game will look like. At first, I want to go ahead and start hype by opening my page but Itchio requires a playable version of my game so that needs to wait. Terribly sorry about this but I promise it won't take me a day but at least a few minutes or an hour for me to have a playable demo ready. I'll let you guys know when my first game page is open and ready to play!

Hi there! I was too busy today trying to gather resources for my upcoming works! Yeah they're coming! All I need to do now is open new pages for them so I can finally get started.

Thanks for replying!

I wish more people can greet me here. Here is my Discord name as well if you want to chat with me about my projects!

Hi my name is Phil Ramsey.  I am just here to find people who are at least active and friendly maybe very productive and creative as much as me! I have no friends sadly but I am full of ideas for making games and drawing comics!

I want to make this post so more people will get to know me as I am fairly new around here. I am not just here to share my work but also find good people to socialize about my upcoming games and comics! I also like to see what other people create especially games!

I was member on Game Jolt few minutes ago before this post and was very disappointed why not many people are talking there? I was hoping this site might be the best for me to go for if lots of people are still active around here.

I first grow up with Clickteam where I make most of my games and my primary software for drawing comics would be ms paint!

Just feel free to private message me or drop me a comment to reply to my post here!
